PART 2: Did Netanyahu absolve Hitler and trivialize the Shoah?

THE NETANYAHU BOMBSHELL:
Founder of Palestinian movement instigated the Holocaust

By Francisco Gil-White, HISTORICAL INVESTIGATIVE RESEARCH

AL HUSSEINIIsraeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a speech to the World Zionist Congress, stated that Hajj Amin al Husseini, the founding father of the Palestinian movement, had convinced the Nazis to exterminate the European Jews. There followed numerous ‘outraged’ reactions by ‘authorities’ of all sorts. We examine here these reactions, and what they mean.

Did Hajj Amin al Husseini, father of the Palestinian movement, convince the Nazis to create death camps to murder every last living Jew? In a recent speech, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said ‘yes.’ Is he right? In my previous piece I argued that the historical documentation supports Netanyahu’s claim [1]; here, I am interested in the media controversy.

Like a body of murky water, the world system conceals its true form beneath its surface. But poke it with a stick and you’ll stir the fishes. The system reacts. Netanyahu poked and was overwhelmed by ‘outraged’ fishes, flapping madly all over the mainstream media. Their movements, for those who pay attention, reveal the geopolitical structure of the system and the position of the Jewish State. These fishes are diagnostic.

But sometimes, as Sherlock Holmes taught, you learn most from ‘the dog that didn’t bark’—or, in this case, from the fish that didn’t jump. I will begin here.

One fish didn’t jump

First, consider that Hajj Amin al Husseini’s status as a world monster cannot hinge on whether he pushed a bit harder and earlier than Hitler for full genocide. Why? Because there is no question that Husseini played a leading role in the Nazi exterminations themselves.[2] And Husseini, the founding father of the Palestinian movement, hoping to complete his ecstatic, genocidal vision, secured German Nazi training in the postwar for Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas. Thus was born Al Fatah, later known as PLO/Fatah, and today as the ‘Palestinian Authority.’[2a]

What follows? That the Jewish State is being pressured to cede strategic territory to the followers of a Nazi exterminator!

Netanyahu’s bombshell provided a golden opportunity to drive this point home. But the media preferred instead to defend Husseini’s ‘honor’ from a presumed exaggeration of his Holocaust role. Revolving around this narrow question, the entire debate effectively became a distraction and wasted a valuable opportunity for a political lesson on the real goals of Mahmoud Abbas and his ‘Palestinian Authority.’

That’s revealing.

You thought ‘the Jews’ controlled the media? Think again.[3] The above suggests that powerful people, with great influence over mainstream media content, are quite concerned to protect the prestige of the ‘Palestinian Authority.’

Beyond the media, such powerful people include all sorts of ‘authorities’ invested with institutional prestige who—strutting as custodians of ‘justice’ and ‘memory’—claim special privilege to speak for entire peoples. Enveloped in this highfalutin pomp, and generously available to the media for quotation, these ‘authorities’ have characterized Netanyahu’s comment on a minor point as a special and outrageous crime and—to boot!—an insult to Germans, Holocaust victims, and the ‘Palestinian people.’

Let us see…

Angela Merkel: Netanyahu let the Germans off the hook!

It immediately rang around the world that, as one headline blared, “Bibi Absolves Hitler for Holocaust.” Did he, now? And is calling Husseini out as a leader of the Final Solution the same as letting Germany off the hook? Yes it is, charged Angela Merkel. Presuming to speak for “all Germans,” the German chancellor corrected ‘Bibi’ Netanyahu as follows:

“All Germans know the history of the murderous race mania of the Nazis that led to the break with civilization that was the Holocaust… I see no reason to change our view of history in any way. We know that responsibility for this crime against humanity is German and very much our own.”[4]

Notice: it is Merkel who, by claiming sole ownership of the Holocaust for “Germans,” in fact absolves whole multitudes of non-German criminals who participated. (And she blames “Germans” without distinction, tarring those brave Germans who did resist the Nazis.)

By contrast, Netanyahu’s comment on Husseini absolves nobody—neither Hitler nor other Nazi Germans.

Merkel has to know this. The (quite famous) principle of responsibility for war crimes was established in her own country, at the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal. It states the following: if you are an underling in a military or paramilitary organization and your bosses order you to massacre innocent people, you must disobey. What follows? That if underlings cannot invoke ‘superior orders’ to evade their ethical responsibility, then still less can the bosses evade theirs by invoking the suggestions of a recently arrived foreigner!

This is about who did what, not who first had the idea. Whether or not Husseini persuaded the Nazis, the Nazis and their accomplices—of all nationalities—are completely guilty. (Obviously.) Merkel’s rebuke is absurd.

Isaac Herzog: Netanyahu is trivializing the Holocaust!

Ordinary Jews have cause to worry in that Isaac Herzog, a leading Jew, agreed with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that Netanyahu’s comment “trivializes the Nazis and the share of the terrible dictator Adolf Hitler.”[5] But as chairman of Israel’s Labor Party, Herzog needed to do more. He needed to speak for Jews, and for the memory of the Holocaust. So he added:

“This is a dangerous distortion of history, and I demand that Netanyahu correct this immediately because it trivializes the Holocaust.”

Did Netanyahu trivialize the Holocaust?

To trivialize, says my dictionary, is to “cause to appear unimportant.” So let us ask: Why is remembering the Holocaust important?

Many people think the Holocaust is a ‘Jewish affair.’ They are mistaken. The antisemites who oversaw the Holocaust wished to enslave the rest of us. World War II, which they provoked, brought suffering to the entire planet and killed upwards of 54 million non-Jews. In the Nazi orbit, those who were not killed—untold millions more—lost all their liberties. In order to protect ourselves and future generations from antisemitism—which makes victims of us all—we must understand the forces that produced the Holocaust so that we may spot their recurrence. This is everybody’s business.

But at least nobody will dispute that the Holocaust is important to the Jews. Since Husseini set up PLO/Fatah (what we now call the ‘Palestinian Authority’), it follows that, by bringing attention to Husseini’s leadership in the Final Solution, Netanyahu has made the Holocaust directly relevant to current Israeli politics, and therefore more important to the Israeli Jews. So how can Herzog claim that he is “trivializing”?

Not content with that, Herzog added that Netanyahu’s remarks are “dangerous.” Dangerous? Yes, I do believe they are dangerous. But to whom?

To Mahmoud Abbas.

Is this what bothers Herzog? Is the chairman of the Israeli Labor Party—a man whose highest calling should be to safeguard Israeli Jews from a new Holocaust—protecting instead the ideological spawn of a top Nazi exterminator? It does appear that way.

But that is absurd!

Yes. It is also, apparently, a kind of ambition, and Herzog is swinging for the fences. If Cantor can show that some infinities are larger than others, then, by Jove, Herzog will do the same for absurdities. Netanyahu’s comment about Husseini, he says,

“falls like a ripe fruit straight into the hands of Holocaust deniers…”

I had to read that twice.

Can Herzog not compute a tautology? Holocaust deniers deny the Holocaust—they assert it didn’t happen. Netanyahu’s claim—namely, that the Nazi policy of total extermination was born in Husseini’s head—asserts that the Nazis adopted a policy of total extermination; it cannot, therefore, logically assist the claims of Holocaust deniers. Elementary.

Do larger absurdities exist? If they do, count on Herzog to find them. And he does not disappoint. Netanyahu’s comment, Herzog complains,

“falls like a ripe fruit straight into the hands of Holocaust deniers and puts them in conflict with the Palestinians

Actually no—it does no such thing. Now that Netanyahu has drawn the world’s attention to the Holocaust responsibility of the Palestinian movement’s founder, PLO/Fatah needs Holocaust deniers more than ever. I expect cooperation between these two groups to flourish.

But the real question is this: Why is Herzog so concerned to preserve unity between Holocaust deniers and “the Palestinians”? He is a Jew, and the chairman of the Israeli Labor Party, but I dare say he behaves like a PLO/Fatah nationalist.

Who is this Isaac Herzog, really?

Yad Vashem: The Mufti Husseini has “no link” to this!

Dina Porat, who is rather impressively sold as “Yad Vashem’s Chief Historian on Hitler and the Mufti,” quibbled energetically whether Husseini could have used the specific words that Netanyahu (who was obviously using poetic license) attributed to him. And, in a rather amazing lurch, she claimed that “all these actions, Hitler’s obsessions, have no link to the mufti.”[6]

No link to the mufti?

Consider: “Husseini asked Hitler to advance the final solution in the Middle East.” It is Porat herself who—entirely in passing—shares this ‘tidbit.’ Is that not a link between “Hitler’s obsessions” and “the mufti”?

Then there is Husseini’s recruitment of Muslim SS divisions in Yugoslavia, responsible for Nazi massacres that form an important chapter of the Holocaust.[7] Also not a link, I suppose, between “Hitler’s obsessions” and “the mufti.”

But most important is how the mufti linked the Palestinian movement to “Hitler’s obsessions” when, in the postwar, he got German Nazis to train Yasser Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas, and other founders of PLO/Fatah (today: the ‘Palestinian Authority’). The point was to belatedly complete the mufti’s dream, expressed to Hitler in Berlin when they fondly confessed their obsessions to each other: “to advance the final solution in the Middle East.”

Dina Porat should have made this particular link very clear. Why? Because that’s her job!

Dina Porat is Yad Vashem’s ‘chief historian,’ and the whole point of Yad Vashem—Israel’s official Holocaust remembrance organization—is to educate people about the Holocaust so that it can never happen again. One way to do that, naturally, is to inform Israeli Jews that the organization they have invited into their midst, and the one that now has power over the Arabs in Judea and Samaria, is the spawn of a Nazi exterminator.

But no. Yad Vashem’s ‘chief historian’ bends backwards to protect the prestige of the ‘Palestinian Authority.’

Who really controls Yad Vashem?

This question must be answered. Of late, Yad Vashem has labored energetically to rehabilitate the memory of Rudolf Kastner as a supposed savior of Jews, even though Kastner confessed in a Jerusalem court: 1) that he played a key, indispensable role assisting Adolf Eichmann’s extermination of hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews (around 400,000 people), and 2) that after the war he swore testimony in Nuremberg to try and get the Nazi exterminators freed.[8]

Conclusion

Netanyahu stirred the pond and interesting fishes flapped and jumped.

With one voice, the Western mainstream media, important Western leaders such as Angela Merkel, important Israeli politicians such as Isaac Herzog, and the very leadership of Yad Vashem, all reacted vigorously. Always, the bias was to protect the prestige of PLO/Fatah, or the ‘Palestinian Authority.’

It would appear, then, that the system has a definite structure: anti-Israeli. Because powerful people with key roles in the system clearly have a stake in PLO/Fatah’s success.

Since PLO/Fatah is the spawn of a Nazi exterminator, Israeli Jews ought to tremble at what PLO/Fatah leaders consider success. And they ought to tremble—but this time in rage—at their own Jewish leaders’ collaboration with this organization.

Finally, what is the geopolitical position of the Jewish State?

It is no secret that Israel is a country besieged from the outside, and its borders seem every day more difficult to defend from the forces gathering all around it. From the evidence considered here, it also appears that Israel is a country thoroughly infiltrated by its enemies, some of whom, within Israel, have rather convincingly posed as ‘Jewish leaders.’

But the darkest lesson is still to come, in Part 3.

“The mufti [Hajj Amin] barely escaped trial for [war crimes] by fleeing to Egypt in 1946. There he made young Yasser Arafat, then living in Cairo, his protégé. The mufti secretly imported a former Nazi commando officer into Egypt to teach Mr. Arafat and other teenage recruits the fine points of guerrilla warfare. Mr. Arafat learned his lessons well; the mufti was so proud of him he even pretended the two of them were blood relations.”

In 2002, in an interview with the pro-PLO, London-based, Arabic-language newspaper al-Sharq al-Awsat (picked up by the leading Palestinian daily Al-Quds), Arafat expressed pride in having cut his teeth with Husseini:

“We are the Mighty People. Were they able to replace our hero Hajj Amin al-Husseini? …There were a number of attempts to get rid of Hajj Amin, whom they considered an ally of the Nazis. But even so, he lived in Cairo, and participated in the 1948 war, and I was one of his troops.”

  1. The article is dealing with causes of the holocaust that are written out of the history books, that are not acknowledged by historians, as though the revelations of the Mufti’s role were a big surprise or a revelation of salient import, and I simply added to the list of taboo revelations of hidden causes of the holocaust. You seem disturbed at this added information, as though a full appreciation of holocaust history itself is one of your taboos. Without understanding the work of German romanticism, from the age of the enlightenment to current left environmentalism and New Age spiritualism, or without understanding the influence of the Soviet gulags upon the Nazis, who were supported and encouraged in its anti-bolshevism by Russian expatriots who escaped from the “Red Terror”, then one can be accused of dereliction of duty in attempting to bring to light the true causes of the holocaust and an understanding of the human psychology that must be understood if we are to evolve our societies optimally. You may be miffed that my post might have an agenda in mentioning Prof. Figueira’s book “Aryans, Jews, Brahmins”. Well, yah, sure, the agenda was one of complete truth, not partial truth. That’s what forums are for, amplifications of the truth.

    >>All of that is your opinion but the article is not dealing with that. It is dealing with why there is widespread opposition to making known the role of Hajj Amin el Husseini in the Holocaust and in forming the ideology of “Palestinianism”. So why not deal with the article as it is written.

  2. Gil-White is educating us to both the historical fact and to the corrupt Jews with leftist agendas. The full story of the Holocaust must include Hitler’s accomplices at all levels of involvement. That must include Roosevelt who helped close the escape routes for European Jews and the U.S. Jewish establishment and their failures during the Holocaust. There is plenty of blame to go around. It is not fair that Hitler gets all the “credit” for the destruction of the Six Million.

Gil White did not and would not use the term “leftist”

Much ado ere about nothing. Hitler and al Husseini are both long dead. But Am Yisraeli Chai. The battles for Israel must focus on the present and future.

The article IS focussed on the present, could not be more so.

Yah, the Grand Mufti was a serious factor and it’s high time this disgusting chapter in history gets floodlit. But keep in mind that Hitler learned a lot from comrade Stalin’s gulags while Stalin was supplying Germany with war materiel and training bases out of view. And then there is the hideous specter of German occult romanticism at work generations before Hitler grew his Charlie Chaplain moustache. One cannot understand the Nazi phenomenon in the absence of reading Prof. Dorothy Figueira’s “Aryans, Jews, Brahmins”
