Post-Rosh Hashana War Update

Today Jews around the world are commemorating the Fast of Gedaliah, a day that commemorates the tragic assassination of a Jewish leader and the collapse of Jewish sovereignty following the destruction of the First Temple. While we fast to remember, we must also open our eyes to the powerful contrast unfolding today in our ancestral homeland.

Yes, the world is once again aligning against us. More and more Western countries are recognizing a so-called “State of Palestine,” literally rewarding genocidal terror without even demanding the release of our hostages. Not a word. Not a condition. Just blind support for genocidal murderers. This isn’t diplomacy, it’s the global normalization of Jew-hatred, dressed in suits and resolutions.

To put things in perspective: until last week, about 175 nations had already recognized the fake “state of Palestine.” The addition of five more Western countries doesn’t change a thing. There will never be a state of “Palestine,” just as there has never been a people called “Palestinians.” History will erase this charade because it has no roots, only a Soviet invention designed to weaponize Islamic Jew-hatred as a tool for advancing a global socialist agenda.

Different news from Europe – In Italy, Muslim migrants are protesting across the country, furious that the prime minister hasn’t recognized “Palestine.” This is the price of unchecked mass migration. Western countries, once proud and free, are being swallowed by Islamic demographics and jihadi ideology out to conquer the countries from within. Unless the native populations wake up and take back their future, those Western countries as we know it are gone.

Then, on the afternoon of Rosh Hashana, as Jews around the world were praying for life, the Yemen Houthis shot a drone that struck a hotel in Eilat, injuring 23 people. Two seriously, one moderately, others lightly, all victims of Iranian-backed terror.

And more rockets were found in Judea & Samaria, this time in Tulkarem.

This is what we’re still dealing with, an open war from north to south, east to west. A war for our survival, and more than that, for our identity.

But we’ve survived worse. We survived the disastrous Oslo peace process that gave our land away to terrorists and guns as well. We survived the Gaza Disengagement that expelled close to 10,000 Jews from their homes in Gaza, destroying all 21 flourishing Jewish communities there, which directly led to the Oct. 7th invasion/massacre.

We’ve survived round after round of international betrayal and silence in the face of terror as well.

By overcoming the latest, Iranian and Qatari funded war unleashed against us since October 7th, Israel has flipped the script, stunned our enemies, and emerged as the undeniable regional superpower.

We are not just surviving, we are thriving.

And then there’s the unconfirmed report in Politico that President Trump allegedly promised Arab leaders he wouldn’t let Israel apply sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

I don’t buy it. Say what you want about President Trump, but he has been standing with Israel in word and deed like no president before him, as part of a greater global shift that includes Israel as a strategic economic and military ally. Whether Netanyahu will step up and apply sovereignty, on all or part of our ancestral homeland, that remains to be seen. But this report? I believe it will be proven false.

Thankfully, this is not the time of Gedaliah. This is not the collapse of Jewish sovereignty. This is not exile. This is the reawakening of a nation. Never in modern history have we seen such unity, such pride, such a deepening of our Jewish identity. Across the country, Jews are returning to their roots, embracing their purpose, and strengthening their faith in Hashem, despite the demoralizing headlines in the mainstream media.

We are a people with a mission. We are a nation of destiny. And this time, we are not falling. We are rising, with a stronger, bigger, and more faithful Israel, that will continue in this new Jewish year.

Oct. 7th might have kicked in our survival instinct, but we are experiencing now is not just survival. This is the redemption process in motion.

This will be a year of great momentum, filled with both more highs and lows for Israel and the world, but above all, we, the Jewish people in Israel, will continue to experience a powerful spiritual awakening and growing regional strength.

Strengthen your faith in Hashem. Great times are still to come.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!
