Qatar to Gift $400 Million Plane to President Trump

Peloni:  This is not believable.  Qatar is a state sponsor of terrorism.  It funds pro-terror riots on US college campuses.  It funded the same Hamas which tortured, murdered and kidnapped dozens of Americans on October 7.

Update: Trump responds to critics of accepting the free plane from Qatar, stating that the transaction is completely transparent and very public while complaining that The Dems would insist the US pay top dollar instead.  But he fails to acknowledge that the greater problem stems from the source of  the gift being the Qataris, an acknowledged terror supporter, a documented briber of politicians, and a major source of funding for Aidan Alexander having been held in captivity over the past 18 months and responsible for the training of those who raped, pillaged, tortured, murdered and held the corpses of American citizens over the past year and half.  The Qataris are a den of iniquity, from which the US needs to divest itself, not become more invested with them, and this is irrelevant to how transparent or public this bond of association might be.  Or so I would argue.

Breaking — Qatar to Gift $400 Million Plane to President Trump:

*  According to ABC News, the Trump administration is set to accept a luxury Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet—valued at around $400 million—from the Qatari royal family.

*  The plane will serve as Air Force One for Trump until just before he leaves office, after which ownership will transfer to his presidential library foundation.

*  Sources say this may be the most valuable gift ever given to the U.S. by a foreign government.

*  Attorney General Pam Bondi and Trump’s White House lawyer David Warrington concluded the arrangement is legally permissible.

*  Bondi—who herself was a registered foreign agent for Qatar—provided the legal memo approving the deal.

*  The DOJ and White House determined the gift does not constitute bribery, since it isn’t tied to any official act.

*  Bondi also argued it doesn’t violate the Constitution’s ban on foreign gifts because it’s being given to the U.S. Air Force and, later, a nonprofit.

*  Neither the White House, DOJ, nor the Qatari embassy responded to ABC’s requests for comment.

*  Experts note the aircraft’s $400 million price tag doesn’t include the additional security and communications upgrades needed for presidential transport.

  1. My advice to Israel would be not to trust American Jews regardless of party. They will always put their own self-interest first and foremost, wanting to keep their powerful positions like Schumer or maintain their business relations like Witkoff. Administrations have long used their House Jews as cover for policies harmful to Israel. There was Kissinger in the 70’s, Blinken under Biden and now Witkoff under Trump. Obama and Clinton also had their House Jews.

  2. True, but that doesn’t absolve Trump. Enough playing whataboutism. The whole thing with the Trump Qatar luxury golf club deal while Trump is president smacks of the Biden crime family. If it was wrong for the Bidens you ought to call the Trump family out. It’s a clear conflict of interest. Is it any wonder Trump won’t apply pressure to Qatar regarding hamas and funding American schools.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven.
But….it’s the epitome of hypocrisy for Democrats to bitch and whine when they either were silent or deflected THE SELLING OF THE WHITE HOUSE for years to the likes of China, Ukraine, and others by Joe, Hunter, Jim, and Jill Biden, otherwise known as “Biden Inc.”, making that family tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars
