[What the hell]

A Kuwaiti paper reported on Monday that a high level talk took place in the Palestinian Authority (PA) governmental seat of Ramallah, in which it was proposed that PA Security Forces be posted on the Temple Mount – the holiest site in Judaism.

The covert meeting between a senior IDF source and a senior PA source in Ramallah was reported by the Kuwaiti paper Al Jarida, as cited by NRG, and was said to have taken place on Saturday.

In the meeting, a proposal to have PA Security Force officers dressed in civilian clothing stationed permanently on the Temple Mount was raised, according to the unconfirmed report.

Israel allegedly demanded that members of the Mourabitoun and Mourabitat groups who harass Jewish visitors to the site be kept off the Mount before the PA forces would be deployed.

The sources who spoke with Al Jarida clarified that from Israel’s standpoint the groups are considered to be branches of Hamas in Jerusalem, as is the Islamic Movement in Israel.

In contrast to the report, an Israeli diplomatic source recently vowed that foreign forces would not be allowed to supervise the Mount or Arab majority neighborhoods in Jerusalem, saying, “there won’t be a prize for terror.”

The report is somewhat surprising given Israel’s strong reaction against a French proposal to the UN Security Council last week, which calls to have international observers stationed at the Temple Mount.

Making the proposal to have PA security forces stationed at the Mount appear all the more questionable was an incident last Thursday night, during which the PA forces let over 150 Arab rioters burn the holy site of Joseph’s Tomb in Shechem (Nablus) before eventually stopping them.

Joseph’s Tomb was occupied and desecrated in 2000 amid the Second Intifada terror war, despite being designated for full Israeli control in the 1994 Oslo Accords. Since then it has been left under PA control.

While the PA promised in agreements with Israel that it would protect Jewish sites under its de facto control and allow free access to Jews, in 2011 Yosef Livnat was murdered at Joseph’s Tomb by none other than PA policemen as he visited the holy site with fellow yeshiva students. Livnat was the nephew of former Minister Limor Livnat (Likud).

  1. In 1929, when Mohammed Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, told his followers that Jews were preparing to take over the Al-Aqsa Mosque, anti-Jewish riots erupted across Palestine that became known as the 1929 Palestine riots. The Safed riot was part of this wave of violence.[2]

This almost 20 years before the re-establishment of the state of Israel and 39 years before Israel captured all of Jerusalem and Judah and Samaria.

The Arabs (now called Palestinians) based oh religion do not want Jews in the middle east and believe they are justified in killing us.

So we must fight to win and not for cease fires or the status quo. Zeevi and Khane were correct Israel must relocate the Arabs to other countries. Whether this is by force for terrorists and their supporters or assisted relocation for the others. Only those Arabs who can demonstrate clearly that they are loyal to Israel should be allowed to stay.

Israel needs to annex all of Judah/Samaria whether this is done in stages for political purposes or all at once.

I would suggest start by annexing all Jewish Towns in Judah/Samaria and start the relocation process or deportation of Arabs in East Jerusalem and Area C.

  2. @ Bear Klein:
II meant Judea and Samaria and all the territory in question. The Temple should have never been given to the
Jordanians to take care of it. They want to make Jews into monsters who want all the land. I make it so. After all with the rest of the world harassing and committing atrocities against our people we need the land to accommodate the new emigration. I’m sick and tired of being accused without reason. Give them a reason. Make it total and complete. Do not leave anything they can claim as their own. Many lives were lost liberating Jerusalem.

  3. @ mar55: You are aware Israel annexed all of Jerusalem in 1967 and in 1980 I believe (made into a basic law)? The Golan was annexed in 1981.

  4. @ Bear Klein:
Respond to the constant pressure should be to annex the rest of Jerusalem. Make it a fact. Include Temple Mount.
It there is a war, let it be, enough bending over to please the EU or the US.
Once it is done, no more discussions. What is done is done.

  5. Now things printed in an Arab newspaper are considered true without confirmation? Is this journalism? Perhaps it is political? Perhaps it is a passing on lies and demonization of the government

  6. if this takes place we can be sure the violence was orchestrated to bring this “event”… duma may have been orchestrated to demonize settlers and incarcerate opposition.

  7. One cannot be sure about the details but we repeatedly warned that Netanyahu will, if pressed by just about anybody, abandon all Jewish rights and Heritage…

  8. So much for Israeli government assurances the Temple Mount would not be “internationalized.”

Instead, the IDF wants the same people behind the recent terror wave to patrol the Temple Mount!

Its illogic straight out of Chelm – and only Jews could be stupid enough to dream it up.
