6 Israeli army reservists wounded in southern Syria during arrest of Jamaa Islamiya terrorists

The move by Syria to coordinate with the PIJ belies the reality of Jolani’s attempts to charm the US under false pretenses and threatens both the Syrian Druze and the Israeli people.  Israel must take note of this, even if the Americans don’t.

Six Israeli soldiers were wounded overnight during a raid to arrest two terrorists in the southern Syrian village of Beit Jinn, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Friday morning.

“As a result of the incident, two reserve officers and a reservist were severely injured, a reservist was moderately injured, and a reserve officer and a reservist were lightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been notified.”

While Israel has conducted numerous counter-terror raids inside and outside the buffer zone in southern Syria in the past months, the incident marks the first time the IDF suffered significant casualties.

“The suspects … advanced terror attacks against Israeli civilians. During the activity, several armed terrorists opened fire at the troops, who responded with fire toward the terrorists, along with aerial assistance to the troops,” the military stated.

Thirteen people were reportedly killed during the operation, which the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned as a “war crime.”

“Syria denounces… the criminal aggression” of the Israeli army, the ministry stated, adding it could “ignite the region” in conflict.

The soldiers of the IDF 55th Reserve Brigade entered the village around 3 a.m. to arrest two wanted suspects of Jamaa Islamiya, an Islamist organization that is the Lebanese branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and has close ties to Hamas.

According to Army Radio, the group is headquartered in Lebanon and actively participated in the fighting against Israel in Lebanon last year.

Beit Jinn is located around 7 km (almost 4.5 miles) from the Israeli border, across from the town of Majdal Shams and on the foothills of Mount Hermon. Israeli forces have reportedly raided the village several times over the past year.

The two wanted suspects, who are brothers, carried out previous terror attacks against Israel, including rocket launches and the planting of explosives. Israeli forces arrested them in their home as they slept, without any incident.

However, when the forces exited the home, it ran into an ambush as terrorists opened fire from a nearby roof at one of the IDF’s Humvees, wounding several soldiers.

According to Army Radio, the IDF initially held off sending in air support out of concern that they might strike the Israeli soldiers who were engaged in close-quarter combat.

The soldiers eventually abandoned the Humvee, which was later struck from the air to render it unusable, and retreated before being evacuated by helicopters. With the soldiers no longer at the location, attack helicopters, UAVs, and fighter jets struck pre-designated targets and killed several terrorists.

According to Syrian television reports, at least 13 people were killed in the incident. Media outlets circulated a picture of one of the deceased men holding a weapon with a marking that resembled the Jamaa Islamiya’s emblem.

The last IDF raid in Beit Jinn was conducted in June and was carried out without incident, as Israeli troops arrested a Hamas cell.

“When you enter this village, you know you must be prepared in advance for various terror scenarios. We prepared for this operation for a month; there is a significant terror infrastructure in the village,” security officials told Army Radio.

Uri Kellner, head of the Golan Regional Council, wished the injured soldiers a speedy recovery and thanked the troops for their work.

“We strengthen and commend the IDF soldiers who continue to stand on the front lines and protect the residents of the Golan and the entire State of Israel with their bodies,” said Kellner.

“The overnight operation illustrates the importance of defense from within a buffer zone to keep the enemy away from the border, and the need for continued deployment of forces in the area,” he added.

“A continuous military presence in the buffer zone and the Mount Hermon area is key to protecting the Golan’s communities and maintaining stability and security along the border.”

    SOUTHERN SYRIA UPDATE

Israel woke up this morning to painful news: an IDF patrol operating inside of Southern Syria, was ambushed, seven soldiers injured, three in serious condition.

This comes just days after Israel’s Defense Minister openly warned of an imminent large-scale jihadi infiltration from Syria into Israeli communities in the North. The writing was on the wall. And yet, here we are again, responding instead of reshaping reality.

    Enough.

This is not a “security incident.” It is the direct result of Israel’s refusal to hold territory, uproot terrorism fully, and establish irreversible control on the ground. What we should have done in Southern Syria and Southern Syria last year!

Wars in the Middle East are not won by temporary raids, airstrikes, or carefully negotiated ceasefires. They are won through conquest, cleansing the area of hostile jihadi population, and permanent strategic resettlement.

That is what every sane nation in history has done. That is what we used to do. And that is what we must be doing in Southern Syria and Southern Lebanon to neutralize the security threat to Israel and all the other minorities also persecuted by the Sunni & Shia jihadis.

The IDF goes in, eliminates cells, allows the jihadi population to live there, and we pull out. Then those same cells regenerate, regroup, and rearm, because we refuse to do the one thing that brings security: take the territory and hold it, forever.

That is the only message of defeat understood by the jihadist Muslim world.

If we had done so after clearing Southern Syria last year, our soldiers would not be seriously injured today! Our border communities would not be once living under daily threat. Our Defense Minister would not be warning of terrorist infiltration instead of preventing it.

History has the answer for us.

Whenever Israel withdraws, terror thrives. Whenever Israel advances and stays, peace comes.

And now, the truth everyone is afraid to say out loud:
The only long-term security solution is Jewish return to Southern Syria

Not temporary military presence. Not “security coordination.” Not more defensive lines, fences, or red lines that terrorists laugh at as they cross.

I’m talking about what our grandparents understood instinctively: Liberation + Removal of jihadi population + Jewish Settlement = peace

Southern Syria, is the region of the biblical tribe of Menashe.

Today, the area is controlled by Jolani’s ISIS–aligned forces, who butcher the Christians, Druze, Kurds and Alawites who live there. Just the other day Druze were driving around praising Netanyahu and waving Israeli flags, publicizing that they are only alive thanks to the Jewish state of Israel!

    Let that sink in.

The world calls Israeli presence in Gaza or Judea and Samaria “occupation,” yet expects Israel to absorb fire and terrorist incursions from land that historically, biblically, and legally was Jewish before the modern Syrian state even existed.

And here’s what shocks many people, Jews are already planning their return to our Tribal lands of Menashe in Southern Syria.

Families. Farmers. Builders. Zionists with courage.
Not because of ideology alone, because of reality.

Jewish resettlement in Southern Syria is the only move that creates regional stability, protects Israel’s northern communities, and safeguards the Christians, Druze, Kurds, and other minorities suffering under jihadi tyranny.

Where Jews rebuild, civilization returns. Where Jews withdraw, chaos rules.

We saw it in Gaza. We saw it in Lebanon. We are seeing it again in Syria.

Israel must stop reacting and start shaping the map.

Our enemies fight to massacre us, conquer and hold our land. The current Israeli leadership fights to “manage” the conflict, not end it!

That is weakness, and weakness invites war.

If Israel wants peace, we must liberate the land, drive out the jihadi population entirely, and resettle Jews permanently.

The Middle East respects one thing: power made real through physical presence.

Our soldiers bled this week not because they lacked courage, but because Israeli leadership lacks the strategic will to do the one thing to accomplish victory.

    We owe them better.
It is time to advance, not retreat. To reclaim, not contain. To return, not apologize.

Because victory in this region doesn’t come from negotiation rooms, it comes from Jews living on the land, raising families, planting trees, and declaring with presence: This is ours. We are home.

That is how Israel survives. That is how Israel wins.

And that is how we secure the future, and the future of everyone else in the region also persecuted by the jihadi Muslims.

That is how we safeguard humanity itself, by embodying true morality, taking responsibility, and standing firm against the rising red-green jihadi axis threatening us all.

This is the offense we provide on a daily basis from Pulse of Israel, no apologetics, just the inspiring, unapologetic truth.

    Am Yisrael Chai!!!
