A friend and fellow author sent me, unfortunately, some current disturbing news that I had a bad feeling earlier was going to happen.
So let me get this straight as I’m seeing this unfold:
Houthis give Western and other shipping nations guarantees of no attack, but it continues to remain ok to blast Israel.
I listened carefully to President Trump at his recent new conference and as usual he chose his words carefully. He repeated that Iran would not be allowed to have nuclear weapons, but was not exactly clear about whether it could continue to develop a “peaceful nuclear program retaining its centrifuges and such.
Unfortunately, during this and other recent interviews and press conferences, he made no mention about stopping Houthis from launching ballistic missiles at Israel—after it had done so much to degrade both the Iranian Ayatollah Puppet Master and all of his fellow Jew-hating, Islamist marionettes.
I hope I’m wrong, but I did have somethings earlier to opine about this troubling issue as seen below.
The American President keeps reminding the world that he’s a big time real estate developer. He chose another of his ilk, a less than stellar Steven Witkoff, to be his main point man in the Middle East who’s more interested in what financial profits can be made than the actual resolution of the conflict between Arab and Jew in Gaza and elsewhere which will end the repeated acts of terror that Israel has been subjected to by both Arab and other Arabized Islamists since its miraculous rebirth on less than one half of one percent of the vast territory of MENA on May 14, 1948 (six days after my own worldly debut).
Meanwhile, while he allows himself to be played by the deliberately lying and stalling mullahs, China, Russia, and North Korea are likely replenishing Iranian ballistic missile and other losses (while Iranian home production also continues), with Trump still preventing Israel from doing what it should have already done by now: doing unto Iran’s nukes what it already had done to Iraqi and Syrian nuclear sites earlier…rendering them null and void.
While Iran’s sites are admittedly more difficult to reach, Israel has enough “friends” on the ground in the area and right in Iran itself to have accomplished this with or without American bunker buster munitions. Israel is quite good at improvising, and the sooner it becomes more independent in munitions and arms development, the less likely it will become other nation’s sacrificial lamb.
While the American version of Rome’s Emperor Nero, fiddles, Israel literally burns.
Huge portions of Israel have deliberately been set ablaze by the same wanton murderers who tied entire families together and burned them alive on Simchat Torah, October 7th, 2023.
Ben Gurion Airport almost took a direct hit, yet the American leader did not include halting such attacks against Israel by the Houthis or anyone else in his new version of Chamberlain’s “peace for our time,” in WWII, which sacrificed Czechoslovakia, but wound up engulfing much of the world in the horrors of war anyway.
Add to this the fact that the daring, heroic efforts of the IAF to destroy Iran’s air defense systems will likely be negated by newer advanced air defense systems supplied by those folks mentioned above—and Israel will be back to square one again.
President Trump has indeed accomplished much good regarding advancing peace between Israel and some Arab nations, and his other actions, such as recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s 3,000 year old eternal capital, defunding anti-Israel and anti-American organizations linked to the United Nauseating Nations, are wonderful…which only adds to the problem regarding his now current apparently callous disregard of Israel’s basic, minimal, long term existential needs.
I hope I’m mistaken in my assessment.
But if I’m not, then this would not be the first time a somewhat friendly American leader placed its most loyal friend and ally on the back burner of foreign policy realpolitik decisions—regardless of how valuable that nation has repeatedly proven itself to be. I guess you got it straight. Congratulations. The only things left to do are related to the facts:
1. We will continue to suffer. The Jews are predestined to suffer because they refused to behave according to the Torah.
2. We all know that our “friends” enjoy this game they are playing with our lives.
3. Our enemies will try every trick they can find to cheat and lie themselves to a 22nd Arab state.

Israel lacks the tactical ability to conduct any prolonged, long range attack, such as would be needed to deal with the Houthis, without US support. So with the US ending hostilities against the Houthis, it signals the end of any sustainable assault on this terror den, even as they have been responsible for the loss of freedom of the seas for the past nearly two years, while also firing ballistic missiles into Israel. These are not things which should be acceptable, not in Jerusalem, and not in Washington. But it appears to be the measure of acceptability coming from Trump, for now at least. This is a disturbing development, ripe with implications for a deal with Iran.
Here I will set you straight:
Donald Trump today in the Times of Israel of all places:
“Asked whether the US has given Iran a choice between turning over its nuclear centrifuges and uranium or “get bombed,” US President Donald Trump responds, “It’s that simple.”
“I would much prefer a strong, verified deal where we actually blow them up… or just de-nuke them,” Trump tells conservative talk show host Hugh Hewitt in an interview, apparently referring to Iran’s nuclear centrifuges.
“There are only two alternatives there, blow them up nicely or blow them up viciously,” the president adds.
I think the crooked Ayatollahs received the message loud and clear. Did you?
Trump smashed the Houthis and he’s not stopping Israel from bombing them like Biden always complained about. He’s supplying Israel with everything they need in armaments unlike Biden.
Take a breath.
Honigman’s critique is right on target. Compared to his first term, Trump has become a foreign policy mashmellow. This Witkoff is a very bad influence on him.
@Donaldo
You make a brilliant point.
However the real question is what is going to happen with Iran.
Can Israel alone destroy Iranian nuclear facilities?
Will Israel need nuclear weapons to do that? At least the EM-pulse attack?
If so, will the whole world condemn Israel? The Security Council?
I think only US can cause the regime change in Iran.
I am thinking that Trump is letting the Houthi’s attack Israel such that Israel can justify an existential extermination of the Iran backed Houthi’s (them our us).
Whereas the US can only claim economic harm from the Houthi’s, which would not justify extermination of these vermin.
I think the Houthi’s are weeks away from extinction either way.
What has to be done, must be done, and done quickly (and independently).
