Peloni: Dr. David Wurmser warns that as the Trump administration is working towards a policy of containment with Iran, it is failing to grasp the changing environment taking shape in Turkey, Qatar and Pakistan which have formed a Bloc which is tied to that of the Chinese axis due to the aligned enmity for Iran by Turkey and Pakistan. With the Saudis joining this bloc, it leaves the combined interests of China, Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, and Saudi with the US and Israel standing as the obstruction to the relative national goals of these various nations, even as the goals are themselves not necessarily aligned with one another. Consequently, Wurmser explains that the original purpose of the MOU was designed to bog down America, make it weak, and expose its vulnerabilities. Thru the influence on the Trump administration by Erdogan and Tom Barrack, the strategic alliance between Qatar, Turkey, and Pakistan is the mechanism which has unfortunately been chosen to guide US policy in isolating Iran, despite the reality that it is actually weakening the US instead as Iran is being preserved under the guidance of Iran’s major sponsor in the world, China.
