Gregg Roman of the Middle East Forum had several questions presented to him for consideration, and I believe the one involving the arming of the long tormented Iranian people especially deserves a wider audience, adding to the prestigious MEF’s own. You’ll find them in the first link below.
I included several of my own responses to this question after the first link, and I too have done extensive doctoral work in both Middle Eastern and National Security Policy Studies, and the MEF has published a half dozen of my own analyses over the years.
The following was my first response to this important question involving arming Iranian civilians to confront a highly trained IRGC ànd its Basij auxiliaries used to terrorize Iran’s own civilian population.
Keep in mind that over the past few decades, over 200,000 of these people were ruthlessly targeted, executed, and massacred.
Unconditional Surrender & Total Victory
First of all, arming the Iranians with relatively pinprick weaponry as is suggested will only result in mass slaughter yet again when faced with large numbers of IRGC battle tanks, artillery, machine guns, and such still intact, despite what The Donald claims.
True, tanks present à big target if America is willing to fly cover each time it expects the people to rise up. But powerful machine guns are all that’s needed to create havoc ànd demoralize the people yet again.
When Israel indeed decide to fly cover a while back while Trump was still “dealing,” he got nasty and chastised Netanyahu for acting to protect these folks instead…
The Return of an Ancient Historical Favor Involving Modern Judaeans and Aryan Persians…
If America wasn’t serious when Trump stated his goals a were unconditional surrender and total victory, we shouldn’t have gotten involved as deeply as we did. Yet, I believe we should have, so don’t misunderstand my own position.
Preventing the mullahs from getting nukes is a necessary goal, but if their arsenal of powerful ballistic missiles, drones, and other such weapons remains, what’s stopping them from doing such things as placing poison gas canisters atop ballistic missiles when they next choose to fire at Israel, the UAE, or other foes?
And what happens when they get ICBMs, and America faces what Israel has been facing for yeara now, by both Irsn and its multiple proxies?
The Chinese, Russians, North Koreans, and who knows who else black gold can win over will continue to rearm them…ànd so forth. Not to mention their own domestic production.
They need to go the way of the Do Do Bird.
Another Viet Nam or Afghanistan was not a good choice.
What was needed is an American leader who saw the genocidal Islamist regime which hijacked Iran as for what it really was: another uncompromising, supremacist, hate-filled entity determined on world conquest, like Nazi Germany was, and which needed to be handled the same way that another real wartime leader handled both the Nazis and Imperial Japan.
The merciless mullahs need to be brought to their knees and totally humiliated by the “strong horse,” a very important concept in that region of the world…a combination of America and Israel working together will do the now. But hopefully a reinvigorated loyal Iranian Artesh military will rise to the occasion after the mullahs are history, the IRGC are vaporized, and the Royal Persian House of Pahlavi Crown Prince returns with thousands of Iranian patriots living abroad, and so forth.
In the new true Republic of Iran, the new Shah will be like the King of England or President of Israel…he’ll have important historical ceremonial and symbolic significance, while the Iranian people will elect their own true leaders…Prime Minister, or whatever.
This won’t happen unless the American leader drastically changes course, and simply suggesting that the Iranian people must accomplish regime change themselves is a sad retreat from what he strongly suggested, if not promised, he was going to achieve for them.
Here’s what a truly great American President accomplished over three quarters of a century ago…
The Difference Two Letters in an American Leader Make
As uncomfortable as it might be in some circles, this war with the Arabized/Islamistized mullahs who’ve hijacked Aryan Iran and despise its glorious pre-Islamic past, requires, like the conflict with their Sunni Arab counterpart in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, more than airpower to accomplish what’s needed to not only eliminate the nuke threat, but to bring to the long suffering Iranian people the same freedom and chance at democracy ànd à true “republic” that President Truman, who also faced much opposition to end WWII earlier ànd so forth, actually accomplished because he had the wisdom and will to stay the course and actually change the world in a magnificent way as a result.
Unfortunately, however, President Trump, facing similar pressures on the home front like President Truman did, is intertwined with too many private business deals which complicate his ability to follow through to achieving the total victory ànd unconditional surrender Truman actually accomplished, which would rid the world and the Iranian people of this menace.
The Donald’s game plan has become far more limited, involving yet more dealing with mullahs who’ll still be around after his term ends, terrorizing their people, and who’ll resume amassing billions of dollars from their black gold to continue funding Hamas, Hizbullah, the Houthis, and so forth.
And if the isolationist JD Vance succeeds him, or worse, Socialist Democrats, the reign of the mullahs and their fellow genocidal proxies will continue as if nothing ever happened.
How long will the American naval blockade be in place after the 2028 elections?
In reality, Iran should have permanently lost some
important strategic territory in the Persian Gulf, possibly Kharg Island or other adjacent islands, and coastal areas.
In war, often to the victor go the spoils, and the aggressors in Iran need to pay a price for the pain, death, and destruction they’ve caused for a half century now.
American bases should arise on some of islands or coastal areas to serve as a permanent guarantee against future Iranian aggression.
When a free, democratic Iran is created, perhaps like what happened in Germany ànd Japan after the war ended and American advisors, educators, and others stayed behind to facilitate this process, then Washington can negotiate deals to lease those lands from the new, friendly true Republic of Iran.
Decades after WWII, we still have bases in Germany ànd on former Japanese possessions.
Time is on the masters of obfuscation in Tehran’s side, not America’s, Israel’s (which will be constantly targeted once again), or the rest of the world’s. It most certainly did not have to be this way,
Too much hogwash “dealing,” and not enough action.
General Colin Powell’s doctrine for dealing with such enemies, was formulated in the earlier Gulf Wars, but General George Patton and others knew of such truths too, called for overwhelming force applied as swiftly as possible, involving all branches of the military as necessary to accomplish the goal–in other words, a powerful tank led ground assault protected by Israeli and American air power, would have brought this war to an end well over a year ago.
We should have been cultivating and resupplying elements of the loyal Iranian Artesh military, who are arch enemies of the IRGC, to join in on this assault to make it more legitimate in the Aryan Persian people’s eyes.
Because America acted and did not settle for unfinished business in WWII, the result is a free and independent Germany ànd Japan today, close allies and partners, threatening none of their neighbors.
Indeed, Israel just received another sophisticated submarine from Germany to help defend itself from its would-be annihilators. Who would have thought…?
But along these same lines, review the third link from above to see an ancient alliance Judaea and Persia had as well long before the 7th century C.E. forced Arabization and Islamization of both of their lands.
What we’re doing now is pathetically short of what is needed ànd what our own military could have achieved two years ago if The Donald wasn’t determined to “deal” with masters of taqiyyah ànd kitman obfuscation who have been playing him like a fiddle.
They should have been all taken out long ago, and their IRGC ànd Basij support system needed to be hunted down and mercilessly destroyed like Hitler’s Waffen SS Stormtroopers, Gestapo, ànd such were when another American leader, who wasn’t distracted by billion dollar real estate, construction, and development deals he was making for his and his friends’s families with black African and Asian slaving, Hamas butcher-enabling Arab oil potentates in Qatar and Saudi Arabia at the same time, for when the dust settled ànd he’d be out of office.
Unfortunately, much of the world, once again, will pay the price, having to confront these maniacs left alive and running the show because the job wasn’t finished…
