The Rockefellers’ War Against Israel

It is important for understanding recent history to appreciate the relation between Henry Kissinger and the Rockefellers. Kissinger served the Rockefellers and was supported by them. He described Nelson Rockefeller as “the single most influential person in my life.”

In each of Nelson Rockefeller’s three attempts to become Republican candidate for the US presidency, Kissinger was his foreign policy advisor. From 1955 1965 he was employed by the Rockefeller Brothers Fund as director of its Special Studies Project. During 1955 and 1956 he was employed by the Rockerfeller–funded Council on Foreign Relations.

As National Security Advisor to President Nixon, Kissinger directed the National Study Memorandum 2000 which defined United States population policy following the lines promoted by the Rockefellers: depopulation, family planning, abortion on demand. As governor of New York State Nelson Rockefeller promoted all of these. The Rockefeller-sponsored Club of Rome studies which focused on subjects which supposedly threatened the future of humanity — threats which never materialized — emphasized that population control would be necessary.

After leaving government service Kissinger was paid between eight hundred thousand and one million dollars annually by the Rockefeller owned Freeport – Moram Copper and Gold Company which controlled enormously rich gold and copper ore deposits in Indonesia which had been delivered to them by Alan Dulles as head of the CIA.

One of Kissinger’s services to the Rockefellers was his serving their campaign to destroy Israel.

The Rockefeller’s animosity toward Israel is reflected in the programs and organizations they fund. One is the BDS (boycott, divest and sanction) campaign against Israel that operates at colleges and universities throughout the United States. Among the anti-Israel organizations supported by the Rockefellers the American Friends Service Committee, Zachrot, the Middle East Policy Network and Electronic Intifada.

The United Nations has been supported by the Rockefellers continually since its founding in 1945. Thanking the Rockefellers for their support, U N secretary general Ban Ki-moon stated “I am deeply grateful to the esteemed members of the Rockefeller family and the Rockefeller Foundation for continuing the noble tradition of supporting international organizations devoted to peace.”

Regarding Israel, the UN can hardly be called an organization promoting peace. Many of its divisions wage war against Israel. Among these are the General Assembly, the World Health Organization, UNESCO, UNICEF, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency) UNWRAA which provides special treatment for Arab refugees from the wars waged against Israel. Whereas the United Nations Commissioner for Refugees has helped tens of millions to settle permanently in lands that were not their place of birth, UNWRAA has kept these refugees cooped up in Gaza and refugee camps. By keeping them as a captured audience ¬– students and members of the public — whose “lessons” and media content have the objective of promoting hatred for Jews and Israel. Because the governments under which Palestinian refugees live are non-democratic, these refugees have no possibility of breaking the barriers which hold them captive and exploit them.

One service of Henry Kissinger to the Rockefellers that should be recognized is his promotion of the destruction of Israel. In the October 1973 Yom Kippur War, Kissinger came close to causing the defeat of Israel. It would not his last attempt to achieve that goal.

As U S Scretary of State, Kissinger warned Israel’s leaders that if war came and Israel fired the first shot, it would receive no aid from the United States. Doing this deprived Israel of the advantage of a pre-empyive strike in a time of approaching war.

On October 3, 1973 American intelligence services informed Kissinger that Egypt and Syria would attack Israel on October 6 at 2 PM. Kissinger conveyed this information to Israel only on the morning of October 6, thereby depriving Israel of the 16 hours it needed to mobilize its armed forces.

During the first hours of the war Israel’s air force was crippled by the ground – to – air missiles supplied to Egypt and Syria by the Soviet Union. this made Israel into a desperate military position. The Soviets were resupplying Egypt and Syria with huge numbers of tanks. Moshe Dayan, Israel’s minister of war, was despondant. “Everything is lost.” Golda Meir, Israel’s Prime Minister, planned suicide. Moshe Dayan ordered Israel’s three nuclear weapons readied for use.

At that time Israel was saved by General Alexander Haig, chief of staff in Nixon’s White House. On October 6, within minutes of learning of Egypt’s and Syria’s attack on Israel and, acting behind Kissinger’s back, Haig ordered all TOW anti-tank missiles in eastern United States consolidated in one place. At the same time he informed Israel intelligence that the U S had a new weapon, an optically tracked missile that could follow and destroy a moving tank with a “kill ratio” of 97 percent. If Israel could get a team to the United States, he would give it to them.

Forty Israel field commanders were flown to Fort Benning Georgia where the U S trained its own officers and those of allied nations. After learning how to use the TOW missiles the Israeli officers and 4,000 missles were flown to Israel, reaching there in tome to destroy Egypt’s huge number of massed tanks preparing to enter Israel through Sinai’s Mitla and Gidi passes. With Egypt’s tanks destroyed and General Ariel Sharron’s crossing the Suez and surrounding Egypt’s Third Army, Israel won the October 1973 Yom Kippur War.

In 1974 Kissinger launched a new plan to destroy Israel: Replace the Shah of Iran who was on good terms Israel with an Islamist regime whose highest priority would be the destruction of Israel. Rouhollah Khomeini, a follower of the ideology of the Muslim brotherhood since the late 1930s, was chosen to head the new regime. The Muslim brotherhood held that the government of Moslems should have a single individual at its head, the United States is run by Jews and deserves hatred, Zionism is an enemy of Islam based on the idea that Jerusalem is the crystallizing point of the rebirth of Islam. An important feature of Kissinger’s plan was that the Islamist regime to be created, unlike the Shah’s, would be willing to kill Iranians in order to stay in power.

The U S State Department and CIA partnered and taking down the Shah and installing Khomeini. The State Department’s George Ball was sent on a mission to Teheran where, after making a perfunctory courtesy call on the Shah, he held long meetings with the leaders of all groups opposed to the Shah – from secular communists to extreme Islamists – all of which were encouraged (and presumably paid) to participate in anti-Shah street demonstrations. In those protests, coffins of supposed victims of the Savak, Iran’s internal security agency, were carried and “bloodied victims of the Savak painted with red Mercurochrome demonstrated. This street theater was covered uncritically by mainstream media as reflective of reality.

In 1977 Abraham Yazdi, an Iranian- American employed by the CIA, arranged for Khomeini to be brought from exile in Iraq to a house in Paris where he would be readily accessible the media,. The CIA provided Yazdi with a budget of several million dollars to script Khomeini’s speeches and pay journalists to prettify his image in order to make him acceptable to Western publics and hide the fact that he was a radical Islamist and hater of America.

Demonstrating the success of the American government’s effort to demonize the Shah, Andrew Scott Cooper, in his 2016 book the Fall of Heaven, wrote “today he [the Shah] is remembered in the West as a brutal dictator” whose regime was responsible for many tens of thousands of deaths. This negative image is simply baseless. In the Islamic Republic’s plan to memorialize victim of the Shah’s oppression it’s head researcher found that instead of 100,000 deaths in the so-called ‘revolution’ of 1978 – 79 was lowered to 383 of whom 100 were guerrillas and terrorist killed in skirmishes with security forces.

I write “so called-revolution” because in fact there was no revolution led by Khomeini. What there was, was a regime change engineered by the CIA and US State Department against the Shah of Iran who refused to use force to remain in power.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly said that his administration will make sure that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons. A further question bears answering: Does the government of today’s United States have any responsibility for removing a regime imposed on Iran by the United States in 1979 – a regime which has inflicted so much harm on its own people and the world? I believe it does.
