The Two-State solution: New Jordan east of the river and Israel west of the river.

Abedalelah Almaala tweeted today:

“In decision-making capitals, foreigners and Arabs are talking about the so-called “two-state solution”, but neither of them can complete the sentence explicitly, “Where is the two-state solution?” But I am completing the sentence. The two-state solution is a state whose name is the new Jordan, east of the Jordan River, and the State of Israel west of the Jordan River.”

I brought Abed to Israel in 2017 to participate in my conference at the Begin Center in Jerusalem.  He represents the biggest Beduoin clan in Jordan.

Both he and Mudar are sticking in public  to what we agreed beforehand.

  1. Unfortunately, The rest of us have only 4 minutes to edit and then the result is carved in stone. The reality is people don’t see all the typos until they look at their own writing with fresh eyes, that plus l’esprit d’escalier leading to multiple comments posted. That’s why my professors always said not to hand in freshly typed papers. Finish them well in advance of the deadline, put them away, and then look at them with fresh eyes.
