U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee took part in the International Conference on Israeli Heritage in Judea and Samaria on Tuesday, where he delivered remarks that appeared to highlight historical and religious connections between the United States and Israel.

His comments came shortly after remarks by U.S. President Donald Trump during a bilateral meeting with Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in which Trump said, “Without me, there would be no Israel – because no other president was willing to do what I did.”

While Huckabee did not directly reference Trump’s statement, he emphasized that the heritage being discussed “is your heritage, without a doubt, but it is also the heritage of the United States. Without Israel, without the Jewish foundation, there would not be America. We owe our very existence to what happened in this land.”

Huckabee’s comments appeared to diverge from Trump’s framing and could put him at odds with the U.S. president, who has previously removed or sidelined officials who publicly deviate from his positions. However, Huckabee’s statement also remains consistent with the American Evangelical community, which constitutes a significant segment of the MAGA coalition that have backed Trump since his election in 2016.

Political analysts in Jerusalem noted on Wednesday that a dismissal over these remarks appears unlikely, even if the comments are not fully aligned with Trump’s messaging.

  1. Huckabee’s claims make as little sense as Vance’s. It is not necessary for Israel and the US to be conjoined twins in order for one to be sympathetic to the other.

  2. Ambassador Huckabee’s comments are a reference to the shared foundation of our shared American/Israeli Judeo-Christian roots that began in Eretz Yisrael. The Judeo-Christian tradition is the foundation of Western civilization and is what MAGA President Donald Trump was firmly committed to preserving. Not so anymore.

Ever since Jared Kushner became Special Envoy for Peace Missions and joined Steve Witkoff Special Envoy to the Middle East, President Trump has moved farther and farther away from his MAGA commitments. Particularly his commitment to protecting and preserving American sovereignty and the Judeo-Christian morality and heritage that he was elected to preserve. Israel is the canary in the coal mine because first comes Saturday (Israel/Jews) and then comes Sunday (USA/Christians).

No business deal can compete with or defeat 1400 years of Islamic doctrine and its singular expansionist goal to make the whole world Muslim by any means necessary. Islam is a challenger civilization that seeks to replace Western civilization with an Islamic caliphate. The West is very familiar with the hard, militant, terrorist side of Islam, but jihad has two faces!

No matter how quietly or perfectly the Emirs and Kings and Sultans and Sheikhs speak English in meetings, Kushner/Witkoff are dealing with the soft side of Islamic jihad. Our envoys are playing checkers and being seduced in the immediate moment of dazzling profits and huge business deals. Rubio/Hegseth are playing chess and tasked with the long-term future of individual freedom, national sovereignty, and the preservation of Western civilization.

And so I say to my president:

All that glitters is not gold Mr. President. Please do not be deceived! The sharia compliant Muslims you think you are making deals with are doctrinally commited to lie to your face and to lie to your envoys faces. It is called taqiyya. There is no equivalent word in the English language. If they sign your papers they will never abide by its agreements. History is a great teacher. Instead, they will use the time as they always do to regroup, resupply, and reattack. First Israel and the Jews, then the United States and the Christians.

You were elected to Make America Great Again twice. Now is your moment in history to do so. Soon it will be too late.
