Peloni: This is an important 13min video. In an interview by Elazar Shturm, Prof. Yaron Zelekha suggests that the Israeli Deep State is limited to the judiciary.
Zelekha also provides an important context for the insidious aspects of the power held by current select non-state power moguls who have the ability to limit and control the liberties of ordinary people, unlike any non-state actor in history. While it falls to govts, particularly the US govt, to regulate, control and limit this power, there can be no such governmental safeguard provided when these power barons join the govt. Indeed, as the term “public-private” has become an altogether routine description of joint enterprises between the govt and these power moguls in the private sector, individual liberties and personal enfranchisement are a necessary loser, as the interests of the govt are altered from being directed towards individual rights and liberties towards being towards the enterprises surrounding the public private enterprises. A notable example of this was to be seen in Operation Warp Speed, where the US govt adopted and protected the interests of Big Pharma over that of American citizens.

While ,amy nations have deplorable “deep staters” that run their countries for their own private profit and not in the national interest, surrely Israel is the only one where the deep state harasses and persecutes their own national leader even as he struggles to the lead the nation in a war against its mortal enemies. Of course, the Israelite elited during the Exoduxs from Egypt treated our nations undoubted leader at the time, just as badly, constantly :murmuring ” and conspiring against him, amddemanding that all seventy, or perhaps more of them share power with him as equals –evemn though that was obviosly impossible during a forty sear treck through a desert, in which the Israelites wer constantly harassed by armed enemies. THis is proof that the Jews of today are the direct descendants, or at least cultural descendants, since of course over 3,500 years there has been some intermarriage with other peoples (actually not strictly forbidden by the Torah). However, our cultural descent from our “stiff-necked” ancestors of 3,500 years ago is undeniable.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Wednesday morning during his court testimony that he is unwell. As a result, the session in his trial was adjourned after just half an hour.
Despite this, Netanyahu is expected to arrive at the Knesset today to vote against the opposition’s bill to dissolve the Knesset.

On Monday, during the third session of Netanyahu’s cross-examination at the Tel Aviv District Court, Netanyahu’s attorney, Adv. Amit Hadad, requested that the day’s hearing be adjourned earlier than scheduled — at 1:45 p.m. — due to what he described as “an important diplomatic call.”
Prosecutor Tadmor asked that the cut time be made up on a different day.
At the end of a break during the hearing, a protester entered the courtroom and began shouting at him: “Loser, zero, take that smile off your face.” Security removed the protester immediately.
Hadad, turned to the judges and warned: “Next time that happens, the defense team will leave the courtroom in protest. This is hooliganism and blatant verbal violence.”

My comment: The deep state, consisting mainly of Israli judges, prosecutors and other government lawyers are ciciously persecuting this man as he attempt to lead his country in a war with vicious enemies. While there are other countries with deplorable deep states, I think Israel is the only one But I t where a prime minister attempting to lead his country in a war for survival is mercilessly persecuted by other officials, who are totally indifferent to the fact that this harassment of their own national leader endangers the very survival of their country. In other words, these official value their petty internal political feuds with their country’s leadership over the very survival of the nation and the defeat of its “external enemies, belonging to other nations and tribes, who are bent on their nations’ destruction.
How shameful can you get. “Deep is the shame and deep the dishonor, as one Jewish poet (Bialik?) wrote.
