Just watch the first 7 minutes.
Zelensky
1. Ukraine will forgo membership in NATO
2. Willing to compromise on two eastern provinces which declared independence.Putin also wants Crimea to be recognized as part of Russia. Putin will demand that NATO guarantee any deal they strike and lift all sanctions.

If this war comes to an end before the US mid-term elections, I wonder what new crisis awaits us…or will it be back to covid?
This proposal by Zelinsky’s political party clarifies his government’s position on a hoped-for negotiated settlement of the Russo-Ukraine war. It is far from capitulation.
I am not sure why Ukraine wants to bring Turkey into a possible future agreement to guarantee Ukraine’s sovereignty. Perhaps Ukraine’s interest in involving Turkey in both the conflict and a hoped-for future peace agreement is an acknowledgment of Turkey as the former sovereign power in southern Ukrainse before Russia seized it from the Turks c.1790-1815 in a seies of wars.
From the Jerusalem Post:
Does Soros have anything to do with Z?
Those who claim that he does were violently attacked K Mayer from Mediatie.com!
Is Soros trying to trigger a conflict East VS West?
I hope the war ends ASAP, but surely an agreement like this can’t be legal. Territory can be won by a war of aggression? And yet the world won’t recognize Israel’s far stronger claims to the lands won in defensive wars. Can the USA invade Baja California because there is corruption in Mexico, and get to keep it? There are always reasons. I say stop the war any way possible, but it can’t be a valid treaty, based on brute force.
@Adam
What Putin is asking for now, he essentially asked for at the beginning. Zelenskiy turned him down flatly at the beginning and now is ready to compromise. I call that capitulation.
The bigger point is in one of my preference i suggested that it was Biden on the ropes, not Putin. So many nations are standing together in opposition to the US including all the big oil producers. And the sanctions will hurt the west far more than Putin..
Like I always said, Putin’s demands are reasonable given the history of eastward expansion by NATO and the use of Ukraine as a battering ram against Russia.
Axios reports 23 hours ago;
“What they’re saying: A senior Israeli official said Zelensky is at a crossroads and has to choose between two options:
Accept the Russian proposal, which is very tough, but preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and stop the war.
Reject the proposal and risk a serious escalation in the Russian attack that could end in a catastrophe for Zelensky and for Ukraine.
1. Accept the Russian proposal, which is very tough, but preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and stop the war.
2. Reject the proposal and risk a serious escalation in the Russian attack that could end in a catastrophe for Zelensky and for Ukraine.
What’s next: Israeli officials said Israel and other western countries are not going to press Ukraine to choose a particular path.”

Thanks for joining the discussion.
On the whole, Roan’s report on the Ukraine crisis is excellent. He does not parrot the Russian line, but instead points out that Putin has lied repeatedly and his word can not be trusted. He also refers to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as “aggression.” His description of Russia’s surrender terms for Ukraine are accurate. But these surrender terms, which include changes to Ukraine’s constitution, are outrageous. How would Americans react if a foreign country demanded that we make changes in our Constitution?
The one are where I disagree with Roman is that we can discount as unreliable all of the reports of military activity, military and civilian casualties, etc. as false propaganda. The American, European and Indian reporters “on the spot” have videotaped numerous instances of bodies lying on the ground who have obviously been killed by some sort of projectile, heavily damaged buildings, people fleeing their homes, etc. And they have been careful to include themselves in many of these videos so as to document that they are really reporting “on the spot.”
The case of the thirteen Ukrainian soldiers on Snake Island who were reportedly killed was an honest mistake by the Ukrainian ministry of defense. When all contact with the Ukrainian outpost was lost following an exchange of words between the Ukrainian soldiers and the Russian ship crew attacking them, the Ukrainian defense ministry assumed, understandibly, that they had all been killed. However, the Russians later said they had captured all 13 Ukrainians alive and were holding them as prisoners of war.
Capitulates? My God he should never have let this go so far. This war was completely unnecessary. It exposes the utter hubris of the perfidious NATO/USA. NATO reneges on its promise not to expand eastward and the Pentagon establishes 13 high security bioweapons labs in the country with two on the eastern border with Russia, three in Kiev, one in Kharkov and another three around Odessa not far from Crimea. Zelensky was bought and paid for by one of the oligarchs and has a sizeable bank account overseas as was divulged in the Panama Papers. He’s beholden to the oligarchs and the neo-Nazis who want war with Russia and have been shelling Lugansk and Donetsk since they broke away killing up to 14,000 ethnic Russians. He is no hero. He has led his country down a road to hell. Considering the history of European invasions of Russia through Ukraine (5 in 500 years with two last century), Putin’s demands are more than reasonable. Enough already! Sue for peace and keep the nuclear doomsday clock from striking midnight or else we’re all in deep trouble.
Zelinsky has not capitulated. He has only said he is prepared to negotiate about these issues. That is the responsible thing for him to do when his country is under heavy attack by a foreign power with superior military resources. But he has made no concessions as of this time. He may be willing to concede some territory in return for a Russian withdrawal from Ukraine. But probably he is just stalling for time in the hope of a cease-fire. Putin has also agreed to negotiate. But he is not capitulated, either.
I think that it is far too early to say that Zelensky is capitulating on anything. He sounded strong and realistic to me while leaving the door open for negotiations. Zelensky’s main task is to win the war on the ground and possibly trigger a change in leadership in Russia. This will determine how the Russians approach negotiations.
Hi Shmuel.
Nice to see you are back. Hope you are well.
Is that true?
Please God make it so. Stop the carnage. Please
