  1. I hope we all understand that most voters are not deep thinkers. Many don’t think at all. This is certainly true of the Democratic party which has shown itself to be a bastion of irrationality, distortion, and lies. What the Democratic party is good at, however, is optics. They understand that their electorate is moved by appearances not by ideas. I have to give the Dems kudos for digging up this Mamdani, who presents himself well, who speaks well, and who has plentiful charisma. He is in a way a reprise of the Obama character. We can expect the Dems to continue this formula. Since they don’t have much of a message beyond socialism, racism, and victimhood, they will use the only gimmick left to them. Their candidates will henceforth all be youngish, good looking, charismatic people, with an empahsis on non-whites, and perhaps non-males. The Republicans better get the message. This is the new game, and it works.
