Mark Levin: Palestinian Conference, Fake Conservatives and the Federal Reserve

Mark Levin’s Saturday, Sept 6, Show:

Mark opens his Saturday show by sharing a clip of Rep. Rashida Tlaib from the recent People’s Conference for Palestine in which she makes the claim that land was stolen from the Palestinians during the founding of the state of Israel.  Mark reminds us of the fact that the founder of the Palestine movement on which Tlaib is speaking was actually Yasser Arafat who was born in Egypt, that the land which she claims was ‘Palestinian’ land was actually land described in the Bible as Shiloh which was Jewish land.  Mark also reminds us that the Palestinians living in Jordan tried to overthrow that country in 1970, explaining that this is why no other Arab nation will accept the Palestinian Arabs into their country.

While this was true, Israel gave up control of Gaza to these Palestinian Arabs, forcibly removing the Jews living there, and what was the result?  A terror state was born with the complicit knowledge and support of the Palestinian Arabs who lived there.  Returning to Tlaib’s polemic at the People’s Conference for Palestine, Mark demonstrates the visceral hatred which she has for not just Israel, but for the US as well, recalling the fusion between the Islamists and the Marxists in their assault on the US and the West.

Mark closes his opening segment by reviewing the recent report put out by the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Affairs, “Debunking the Genocide Allegations: A Reexamination of the Israel-Hamas War from October 7, 2023 to June 1, 2025″.  This report provides a factual analysis which debunks the claims of genocide which have been falsified against Israel.  The details in this report should be shared widely.  They demonstrate that the food going into Gaza  increased more than 5 times since the war began, even as claims of forced starvation were leveraged against Israel, and that the UN’s own reports share that any resulting hunger is the result of aid trucks which had been stolen by Hamas.  The report also demonstrates that the safe zones erected by Israel were “significantly safer” than other areas and attributed the greater loss of civilian lives to be related to the UN’s refusal to cooperate with the Israeli safe zones.  Another important caveat described in this report was the “systematic failure in UN and NGO reporting”, always to the detriment of Israel.  Citing “circular citation, opaque assessments, and unaddressed retroactive corrections” led to international distortions misrepresenting the reality of the conflict.  The report goes on to further explore the willingness of aid organizations to promote Hamas reported data as accurate, demonstrating a bias which served to reinforce the rejection of factual corrections, coining the term of humanitarian bias to describe this fact.  Much more is discussed on this point.

In his second segment, Mark talks with Gianno Caldwell of the Caldwell Institute for Public Safety, whose brother was a victim of violent crime, about Trump’s attempt to deal with violent crime in the US.  They also address the use of the National Guard in dealing with this crisis.

In Mark’s third segment, he interviews Ben Shapiro, Editor of the Daily Wire, about the fusion of the Islamists and Marxists in its assault on the US, Israel and the West.  Mark raises the point that fake conservatives actually showed up in support of the recent People’s Conference for Palestine (PCP).  Shapiro poses an important response by asserting that while these voices which presumably stem from the Right, by participating in such an event as the PCP should be seen to void their presumed authority to speak for MAGA, conservatives or the American Right.  Noting that these people are suppose to be thought leaders for the Right, Shapiro reminds us that these leaders should lead rather than simply echo the idiocy which they read online.  In the closing part of this segment, Shapiro discusses his recent book and how it relates to the current political environment in the US today.

Mark Levin’s Sunday, Sept 7, Show:

Mark opens his Sunday show with a discussion of the post Constitutional aspects of the Federal Reserve Board.  Recalling Milton Friedman’s revelation about the role in which the Federal Reserve Board created the Great Depression by tightening the money supply rather than doing the opposite, Mark explains that the same policy today is being preferred by the current Federal Reserve Board, and the US president has no power to either appoint or remove the members of this board.  Mark goes back to the founding of the nation and the dispute over the creation of a National Bank, and the ever present conflict which exists between implied and expressed powers of the US Federal govt to assert that the Federal Reserve Board is unconstitutional on numerous grounds, even as it has been responsible for many damaging economic policies.  He contrasts this with the clearly constitutional role which the president has in asserting trade and tariff policy which is being contested in various courts today.

In his second segment, Mark talks with Kevin Roberts, President of the Heritage Foundation, about the importance of family within society and that the degradation of the family in American society has extended to the degradation of governmental institutions as well as to morality and culture in America.

In the third segment, Mark talks with Sen. Tom Cotton about the concerns revolving around a building axis opposing the US, including Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and others.  Cotton argues that the US and its coalition partners have a stronger military and economic power from which it can exercise its strength in opposing this rising axis as he asserts was demonstrated in the attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities.  In closing this segment, Mark and Cotton inexplicably claim the obstacle to peace in Ukraine has been Putin, when it is Zelensky who continues to assert Ukrainian territorial demands without the means to secure such an outcome.  This makes little sense and raises the question of what is the real US goal in Ukraine.  They also revisit the threat of China invading Taiwan.
