The left in the U.S. can’t win elections except by cheating, and that’s why leftists are fighting so fiercely against election reform. In Britain, meanwhile, the ruling Labour party is facing a challenge from a relatively new party, Reform UK, which wants to end the mass Muslim migration that has already transformed the UK and threatens to end its existence as a free society. Aware that it likely cannot win the next election, either,Labour is using charges of “Islamophobia” to try to destroy Reform, using the UK government as a tool.

Sky News reported on Wednesday that “a group of MPs has written to the chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) demanding a probe into Reform UK regarding allegations of Islamophobia.” This is a matter for the Equality and Human Rights Commission because both Labourand the Conservatives, Britain’s two major parties, have moved toward making “Islamophobia” a criminal offense, and hence one that is subject to investigation from government commissions. The larger tactic at play here is to make all dissent from Labour’s policies a criminal offense, so that Labourdoesn’t have to win elections anymore; eventually it will be the only party legally allowed to operate.

And so “twenty-six Labour MPs and one former Labour MP, now an independent MP, have reported Reform UK for possible Islamophobia after the group claimed there was overwhelming evidence the party has breached its obligations under the 2010 Equality Act. In the letter the MPs claim: Over the last few years, we have seen a number of Reform UK politicians and members make comments that are clearly racist and discriminate against ethnic minorities, and in particular, Muslims.’”

Racist? What race are Muslims? Islam is not a race, and Muslims are not all of one race. There are Muslims, and Islamic jihadis, of all races, but in Britain, if you oppose jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women, you’re liable to be charged with “racism,” because most native Britons are white and most Muslims in the country are migrants from Pakistan, and hence considered “brown.” These racial distinctions have nothing whatsoever to do with Islam’s violent and supremacist doctrines, but few in Britain have figured that out.

The Labour group claimed: The prevalence of racism within Reform UK does not exist in a vacuum and has real-world consequences for the millions of British Muslims in our country. Reform UK, however, professed to be unconcerned, responding: We stand by our comments. We will not be intimidated. Labour MP Afzal Khan would have none of that, and shot back: Reform UK have consistently failed to tackle their growing Islamophobia problem. He claimed that Reform UK engaged in consistent attacks on Muslim communities.

The Labour government has asserted that 45% of all religious hate crimes were targeted at Muslims – a record level, and more than any other faith group. And the government insists there is significant underreporting.” This may be true, but the fact is that unkind comments and even perceived unkind comments are included under the rubric of “hate crimes” along with actual physical attacks, and so the situation is neither as clear nor as dire as Labour would have us believe.

And it’s for rude comments that Labour now wants Reform investigated: “The MPs cite a list of examples of what they believe to be Islamophobic comments made by Reform politicians. For example, they allege that keader [sic] Nigel Farage was Islamophobic when he criticised a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square, and for suggesting they could be banned from taking place at historic British sites.

This is a clear indication of how charges of Islamophobia are used as a weapon in order to destroy all opposition to the Islamization of Britain. Even Farage, who has said that Islam in the UK cant be confronted or the forces of freedom will lose, has been charged here with being Islamophobic, when he has gone out of his way to demonstrate that he doesn’t think Islam as such poses any problem for Britain at all.

No one wants to state the obvious fact: the mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square that Farage criticized was a statement of dominance. Thats why it was objectionable. Not because it took place at a British historical site, but because the Muslims there were stating that just as this was Britains past, they were Britains future. But now even to come close to pointing out these acts of victory and supremacism is Islamophobic, and because Islamophobia is now against British law, Labour can swiftly do away with its upstart rivals in Reform by getting them investigated and tarred with scandal.

It may not work. It failed when the Democrats tried it against Trump. And it may fail in this case, because the British people see that there is a problem with Islam, and are increasingly fed up. But if the government cracks down on Reform and hamstrings it before the next election, it will be because the left has efficiently weaponized charges of Islamophobia to help it stay in power indefinitely.
