Judge Not Lest You Be Judged—A Response to Shmuel Rosner’s Probing Article Regarding Israel’s Eroding Image

by Gerald A. Honigman

“Judge not Lest You Be Judged” is part of a very influential Judaean teacher’s Sermon on the Mount, Yehoshua—Jesus—of Nazareth, born in the Judaean town of Bethlehem a thousand years after King David was also conceived there.

Shmuel Rosner tackled a very real and serious problem facing Israel today as seen below..

Indeed, too many of those who judge the sole resurrected, minuscule nation of the Jewish People come into the picture with an already two thousand year history of anti-Jewish religious indoctrination and animus implanted in them by the Roman Catholic Church, its Protestant offshoot, and the various Eastern Orthodox Christian Churches as well.

The homilies of the important Church Father, St. John Chrysostom, typify this visceral hatred that was preached, taught in schools, transformed into violent actions repeatedly to the point that scholars have estimated that an equal number of Jews were slaughtered in various ways prior to the Holocaust as occurred during the Holocaust.

Read some samples of “Saint” John Chrysostom’s grossly antisemitic homilies in the following analysis:

This deadly, ingrained Jew hatred carried over to the Jews’s lone, admittedly imperfect state, after it miraculously was reborn just as Holy Scripture and Prophecy had envisioned.

On this same note, what nation of humans is without fault, or, for this same matter, even compares, if fair standards were applied, to the very nation they enjoy vilifying?

Here’s how this anti-Jewish problem has manifested itself in the open letter to the Archbishop of Ireland sent to him personally first, and then published in the Kurdish media and other publications afterwards…

Those polled in the Rosner article who express hatred or negative views of either Prime Minister Netanyahu and/or Israel—the Jew of the Nations—have never had to face what a 9-15 mile wide Israel has to face each day, surrounded by genocidal enemies sworn to its obliteration and slaughter of all of its Jewish inhabitants.

Those same Gentile nations, so quick to judge, would have never tolerated being constantly bombarded and terrorized since their inception as Israel has been.

Would they have simply “turned the other cheek,” as they preach others to do when their own children were deliberately beheaded, wives gang raped, saw families tied together and set afire, and so forth?

How would such critics mentioned react if they were eating lunch in a restaurant one day, and then were bombed, seeing relative body parts blasted all over the room and hanging from the rafters of the ceiling?

This was just one example of what actually happens in Israel—this time at the Sbarro Italian restaurant in Jerusalem.

Not satisfied with this depravity, the Arabs then set up a museum displaying models of Jewish body parts and such hanging from the ceiling at one of their universities..

What kind of human beings are capable of stooping to such levels? Answer…

The same kind in the Arab and Arabized Islamic East as those who burned Jews alive in autos de fes for not converting to Christianity, or doing likewise to entire groups by placing them in barns and locking the doors in the same Spain and Portugal (and elsewhere) mentioned in the article as Israel’s would-be judges today

Billions of dollars of black African autocratic Arab oil potentate funds have been pouring into academia for over three quarter of a century now, from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and other Hamas butcher supporting emirates, kingdoms, or whatever.

This, obviously, has come with a “price,” skewing courses in an anti-Israel manner and too often also determining who gets to teach such subjects in the first place.

See what I’m referring to here in the Middle East Forum…

Regarding the wars Israel is forced to fight because in most Arab eyes, nobody but Arabs and those whom they forcibly Arabized and Islamized over the centuries have any rights at all in lands they literally stole from other non-Arab ancestral native peoples and then subsequently declared them to be simply “purely Arab patrimony.”

Time after time the same scenario unfolded…

Israel put up with repeated attacks, was told by others not to respond, then finally was forced to do so after it became obvious that the Arabs continuous slaughter would not stop unless Israel did something to stop it itself.

The profoundly anti-Israeli United Nauseating Nations surely could care less about how many additional Jews got butchered.

So, Israel has finally had to do what all other nations would have done much earlier: act in self defense to try to finally put an end to this nightmare—and for this it has been repeatedly condemned.

Luckily, there are some fair military experts who have closely studied Israel’s unique predicament and have published major comparative studies about the conduct of the IDF with virtually all other military forces fighting in the same circumstances in which a genocidal enemy—which openly declares that the destruction of Israel and slaughter of all Jews everywhere are its goals—repeatedly commits atrocities, and then runs back to cowardly hide behind its own women and children, routinely using them as human shields…

Hypocrites of the world listen very closely…

There is absolutely no moral equivalency between civilians deliberately targeted for butchery and those who are killed because the heroes they elected commit à double war crime by the Geneva Conventions on War by attacking innocents and then running back to embed themselves into their own population…

See this inadvertent prequel to the current Gaza tragic mess to see some of the articles of Geneva which pertain to this…

Summing things up for those who have never had to live in Israel’s proverbial shoes, unless you’ve had your towns made uninhabitable due to incessant bombardment as Israel has, and had your own families and communities under constant threat of annihilation…

Judge not lest you be judged.
