There is nothing that Wesley Hunt has stated that doesn’t reflect simply knowledge and prudence about Saudi Arabia and Islam.

Leftists, Islamic supremacists and the new “woke right” want no questions asked or observations expressed about Islam. They want nothing stated that does not portray Islam as a religion of peace and compatible with Western free societies.

Watch Wesley Hunt’s favorite “jaw-dropping” favorite story about Trump’s terms for America to withdraw from Afghanistan HERE. It’s a story that shocks many Westerners, since such discourse is foreign to them, but it’s normal and respected discourse for the “neighborhood” in question. Negotiations with Muslim leaders require knowledge of Islamic culture, especially when dealing with Islamic supremacists and jihadists.

What this story tells us is that Hunt has knowledge about Islam and jihadists, unlike the arrogant yet gullible Western woke analysts and policymakers, who refuse to see truth due to their own cowardice or agendas (and sometimes both).

Hunt has stated that “people who dismiss his warnings on Islam as fear-mongering ‘have never lived under it.’” He went on: “I’ve seen what that system looks like in real life, not on cable news. Public beheadings happened there not long ago. Women couldn’t even drive when I was stationed there.”

Saudi Arabia has shown some disturbing trends, especially since October 7, but even prior to that, as seen in these stories:

Beware woke terms such as “anti-Islam.” They are intended to accuse, smear and dismiss people who state critical truths, as is the case with Wesley Hunt.

Trump picked a man who is actually knowledgeable about the neighborhood he would be working in, and he will command respect in it, not be a pushover laughingstock in his role.

“Trump picks anti-Islam, pro-Israel Republican Wesley Hunt as next ambassador to Saudi Arabia,” by Elis Gjevori, Middle East Eye, September 16, 2026:

Trump’s nominee has called Israel America’s ‘one true ally’ in the Middle East, and warned that even Abraham Accords signatories can’t be trusted

US President Donald Trump has nominated the anti-Islam, pro-Israel Republican Wesley Hunt as the next American ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

The choice announced on Monday comes at a fraught moment for US-Gulf relations, months after the US and Israel launched their war against Iran and as the conflict continues to destabilise the region and the entire global economy.

Hunt, a staunch Trump ally, served in the US military in Iraq, flying 55 combat missions as an Apache helicopter pilot in Baghdad in 2006, before spending two deployments in Saudi Arabia as a diplomatic liaison officer.

Hunt has repeatedly invoked his time in Saudi Arabia to rail against Muslims and Islam.

“I’ve lived in Saudi Arabia for two years. I’ve deployed to Iraq. I have seen firsthand what it looks like to live in countries governed under systems like Sharia law,” he said last November….
