Netanyahu fires back at Obama over ‘stolen land’ accusation: ‘We’re Jews in Judea’

PELONI: It was a big mistake for Netanyahu to challenge Obama with the statement that “We are Jews in Judea” without also stating that the self describe “Palestinian” Muslims already have a state in Jordan, the original two states for two peoples, and that both it and Israel are tied to the same basis under international law, something which should not be ignored when such Jew Haters as Obama try to steal yet more of our land to the same purpose.

Indeed, the discussion about stolen land should be resolved to at least include if not center upon not just Israel’s historical, ancestral, biblical, and indigenous rights to the land of Israel, but upon the importance of the League of Nations, the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine and the pivotal relevance of the San Remo Declaration.  These certify our right to the land as being binding under international law, which should receive a greater focus of any debate over stolen lands.  As I have stated previously:

“As is always true with the Jews, what is best relied upon is a fair and equitable application of the law, and the law, as defined in international treaties and agreements, supports our claim to lands reconstituted in the state of Israel.”

In fact, doing so only serves to reaffirm PM Netanyahu’s own words because, as he correctly states that “The Jewish people are not foreign occupiers in the land of our forefathers,” he should also note that this fact is supported by the fact that the international community recognized the RECONSTITUTION of our nation as indicated in the San Remo Declaration.  The importance of this recognition is that when Obama calls our land stolen, he is in fact ignoring the glaring truth that the land which actually  was stolen was not by the Jewish people from their Arab neighbors, but from the Jewish People to their Arab neighbors.  This was the infamous act of ceding nearly four-fifths of the land promised to the Jews under the initial League of Nations Mandate for Palestine to the Arabs in creating out of thin air the emirate of Transjordan which came to be known as the state of Transjordan and later Jordan, the latter being  it is chuck full of self describe “Palestinian” Arabs.  So the legitimacy of Israel is directly tied to the legitimacy of Jordan, at least in so far as property rights under international law is concerned, and beyond this the Jordanian people have NO right to the lands they hold today.  There was no Jordanian people prior to the malicious land theft which created that nation, no ancient Jordanian or Palestinian peoples.  In any event, however, the point is preserved that Jordan is Palestine, and Israel is not based on stolen land…which begs the question as to why we are so shy about declaring and explaining the truth of these fact as agreed upon under international law a century ago when we are challenged by such Jew Hating bigots as Obama and others.

The prime minister rejected Obama’s portrayal of Israel as a colonial power, accusing the former president of ignoring Jewish history and the real obstacle to Middle East peace.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired back at former President Barack Obama on Friday after Obama accused Israel of taking Palestinian land, declaring: “Our land is not stolen land. This is our homeland.”

“We’re not the Dutch in Indonesia. We’re not the Belgians in the Congo. We’re Jews in Judea,” Netanyahu said in a blistering video response.

The clash erupted after Obama told an audience in Northern Ireland that Israelis “took land off people and they were excessive,” arguing that Palestinians were justified in demanding their land back.

Obama made the remarks Tuesday while receiving an honorary doctorate at Queen’s University Belfast. Netanyahu called his comments “regrettable” and rejected the suggestion that the Jewish state was a colonial enterprise.

Obama warns Israel has lost moral ground

During his Belfast appearance, Obama argued that Israel’s military and technological superiority could not provide a lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

He warned against an approach in which Israel relies on its strength to take whatever measures it considers necessary for its security without making concessions to Palestinians.

Such a strategy might succeed in the short term, Obama said, but would come at a moral cost.

“You have ceded moral ground if that is the position you take,” he warned.

Obama accused Netanyahu’s government of embracing that approach and argued that Israel must recognize that millions of Palestinians will remain in the region.

He specifically cited the presence of seven million Palestinians, saying they were “not going anywhere.”

Netanyahu: Israel is not the obstacle to peace

Netanyahu rejected the suggestion that Israeli policies were the central barrier to resolving the conflict.

Instead, he pointed to the refusal of Israel’s enemies to recognize Jewish sovereignty, regardless of where the country’s borders might be drawn.

“The obstacle to peace is not Israel,” Netanyahu said, arguing that the fundamental problem is the rejection of the Jewish people’s right to a state of their own.

He also linked Israel’s struggle for security to the broader confrontation between the United States and hostile regimes in the Middle East.

Pointing to chants of “Death to Israel” and “Death to America,” Netanyahu said the hostility directed at the Jewish state is part of a wider campaign against the West.

“We are the ‘Little Satan,’ you are the ‘Great Satan,’” he said, referring to the labels used by Iran’s leadership for Israel and the United States.

Both countries, he argued, are defending a shared civilization against common enemies.

‘We will not gamble with our survival’

The prime minister concluded with a warning against diplomatic arrangements that fail to account for the threats Israel faces.

“A peace built on illusions will crash against the rocks of Middle Eastern reality,” Netanyahu said.

He insisted that Israel would not compromise its security simply to satisfy international demands or reach an agreement with adversaries unwilling to recognize its legitimacy.

“Israel will not gamble with its survival to accommodate those who refuse to accept the facts of history, to accept our right to exist, or who wish to appease terror.”

The exchange marks another public disagreement between Netanyahu and Obama, whose relationship was frequently strained during Obama’s presidency, particularly over Israeli settlements, Palestinian statehood and the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement.

Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) National President Morton A. Klein released the following statement:

Former U.S. President Jew-hater Barack Hussein Obama – who, along with Jimmy Carter, was one of the worst, most hostile-to-Israel and hostile-to-America presidents in U.S. history and one of the worst enablers of the Islamic Iranian regime — is again spewing abominable lies about the Jewish State and the Jewish people in public appearances throughout the country. ZOA strongly condemns Obama’s despicable Jew-hating, Israel-hating lies.

First, Obama lied that Jews “took” the land from “Palestinian” Arabs. In fact, there were always Jews living in the Jewish homeland, throughout the millennia, despite persecutions and expulsions. In fact, Jerusalem has had a proven majority of Jews since the first census was taken in the mid 1800s (not surprising since Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Muslim holy book, the Koran). Further, with the help of the Rothschilds and Jews around the world who donated their nickels and dimes in pushkas for the Jewish National Fund, more Jewish people returned to their homeland by purchasing what was then largely swampland from Ottoman and Arab/Islamic landowners (at highly inflated prices) in the latter 1800s and 1900s.

Jew-hating bigot Obama also fails to mention that most of the so-called “Palestinian” Arabs in Israel are from Egypt, Syria and North Africa and flooded into Israel to get jobs only after Jews drained the swamps and established an economy. Common “Palestinian” names such as Al-Masri (meaning from Egypt), Al-Mughrabi (meaning from the Maghreb, i.e., North Africa) and Al-Halabi (meaning from northern Syria) reveal their origins. Indeed, UNRWA (the Arab/Islamic terror-infested United Nations Relief and Works Agency)’s revealing definition of a “Palestinian” refugee is someone who resided or worked in Israel for a mere two years in 1946-1948.

Further, Jew-hater Obama lied by blaming the persecutions of Jews virtually solely on Europe. Obama fails to mention that Muslims throughout the Middle East and North Africa persecuted Jews for centuries; murdered Jews in deadly pogroms, such as Iraq’s Farhud in 1941; Iran’s 1839 pogrom against Mashad’s Jews; bombings of Jewish neighborhoods in Cairo (1945-1948); pogroms in Aden, Yemen (1947); pogroms in Tripoli, Libya (1945 and 1967); and deadly pogroms against Jews living in Israel in 1920, 1921, 1929 and 1936-1939, to name a few. Muslims also drove out close to one million Jews from their millennia-old Jewish homes throughout the Middle East and North Africa around the time of the reestablishment of the modern state of Israel.

In addition, ZOA condemns Obama’s abominable, grotesque lies that Israelis have “ceded the moral ground” by defending themselves from Arab/Islamic and “Palestinian” Arab attacks and Muslim terrorists, and therefore must give up their land to enable Arab terrorists to destroy more innocent, human-rights-loving Jewish lives. There are already currently ten to fifteen serious “Palestinian” Arab terror attacks against innocent Jews every single day – including more than twenty serious terror attacks against innocent Jews in Judea/Samaria just this past weekend (October 10-11).

The only parties who have “ceded moral ground” are the Arab and “Palestinian” Arab attackers and Muslim terrorists, and Barack Hussein Obama.

World-class bigot Obama also fails to acknowledge that eight times in the last eighty years, and four times in the last twenty years, Israel offered to give the Arabs an Arab State on historic Jewish land lawfully designated for the Jewish state.  Former Prime Minister Olmert even offered 97% of Judea/Samaria and 3% of Israel within the green line (to “make up” for the 3% of Judea/Samaria Israel had to keep because 550,000 Jews lived there), half of Jerusalem, and billions of dollars in aid and a state in 2008. Yet Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas rejected Olmert’s astonishingly foolish, over-generous offer. PM Olmert told me that terrorist pay-to-slay Abbas refused to accept the offer unless Olmert deleted the clauses that required the Palestinian Arabs to “accept Israel as a Jewish state, limit the number of Arabs who could move into the Jewish state to 150,000” (Abbas demanded limitless numbers moving to Israel), or sign that “this was a final deal with no further claims.” In other words, even after being offered a state with virtually no compromise by the Arabs on disputed territories, which are all really Jewish land, Abbas rejected Olmert’s breathtaking offer, just as Arafat had in the past, and (as President Clinton repeatedly states) Abbas continues to work to murder Jews and destroy the rest of Israel.

Obama has again exposed himself as another mindless, irrational, major-league Jew-hater of the same ilk as Louis Farrakhan and Leonard Jeffries. Shame on him.
