Joint statement made by Chairman of the Central Elections Committee, Noam Solberg, on behalf of the Shin Bet chief and the Attorney General, clarifies that even if the serious allegations brought before him are verified, it would not detract from the validity of the elections. Instead, he asks that the vote of the Arab society should not be impugned, indicating that broad participation is a welcome thing while ignoring the absurdity of doing so while the investigation of election fraud is yet to be completed. You cannot make this up.
Israel’s security services, Mossad and police are investigating serious allegations of Qatari interference, vote buying and election fraud. Yet before the investigation is complete, senior officials are already assuring the public that none of it could affect the election results!
How can they possibly know that?
Approximately 4,000 votes could reportedly shift one Knesset seat from an Arab party to Netanyahu’s bloc. Nobody yet knows how many votes may have been improperly influenced, or whether additional mandates could be affected by the investigation’s findings.
Declaring the results unaffected before establishing the scale of the alleged wrongdoing raises the disturbing appearance of another judicial cover-up.
More evidence, videos and eyewitness testimonies are emerging daily. Footage from Arab polling stations across Israel is raising serious questions about what many are already calling “Election Qatargate.”
Once again, Ayala Hasson is demonstrating genuine journalistic integrity as the only mainstream journalist devoting significant airtime to this potentially enormous scandal. Meanwhile, the rest of Israel’s mainstream media is not covering it, instead promoting the inclusion of these anti-Israel Arab parties in the next government.
Yesterday, some of the most senior officials responsible for safeguarding Israel’s elections and national security appeared together in a video. While acknowledging that serious allegations remain under investigation, Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, chairman of the Central Elections Committee, together with Israel’s Attorney General assured Israelis that the results would not change.
So I return to one simple question:
If investigators still do not know how many votes may have been illegally influenced, how can the justice system already declare that the election results were unaffected???
If the suspicions are serious enough to warrant a Shin Bet investigation into possible foreign interference, how can anyone determine that the election was not affected before that investigation is completed?
Especially when we are talking about an election in which thousands of votes can move a mandate from one bloc to another.
And now consider what witnesses are already alleging.
The organization Ad Kan has collected hundreds of firsthand accounts from people who worked at polling stations in Arab communities. According to CEO Avichai Shorshan, these are not anonymous social-media posts: witnesses have reportedly provided their names, identification details, polling stations and positions.
One election official in Rahat alleges that when he stepped outside his polling station, he saw a table with envelopes and later was offered fuel cards worth 400 shekels to vote for the Joint List. He says that when he replied that he did not have a car, he was instead offered 400 shekels in cash — and that he and another election worker were offered 800 shekels if they provided photographic proof of their votes.
Other witnesses describe voters allegedly receiving ballots before entering polling stations, money and fuel cards being distributed outside, and election officials allegedly being offered hundreds of shekels to permit improper voting procedures.
Shorshan describes an alleged method in which voters were given the desired ballot outside, entered the polling station only to receive an envelope, inserted the predetermined ballot and then demonstrated that they had complied before receiving money or, more commonly, a fuel card.
But they are not the only reason there are questions.
On election morning, police arrested three suspects in the Negev after reportedly finding approximately NIS 12,000 in cash envelopes together with Ra’am ballots. Four additional suspects were subsequently arrested as police investigated allegations involving fuel cards in exchange for votes.
And separately, an important distinction, the Shin Bet is investigating suspicions of improper foreign influence on the election. Police have explicitly said the two investigations have not been shown to be connected.
Was the election stolen? The correct answer is maybe, not yes, not no, but maybe, because the investigation has not been finished.
But the more important question is much more basic:
Why are conclusions being announced by senior judicial officials before the investigation is even finished?
That question becomes even more troubling amid reports that the attorney general prevented Shin Bet chief David Zini from using certain investigative tools he had requested.
This would not be the first major case the justice system has been accused of burying.
More than a year has passed since the former IDF Military Advocate General admitted responsibility for leaking the inflammatory Sde Teiman video, a leak that fueled international condemnations and a devastating blood libel against the Force 100 soldiers and the IDF. Yet despite that reported admission, no investigation has been done, no accountability or punishment proportionate to the damage she inflicted upon Israel and the Jewish people.
Now consider the election allegations.
If even a fraction is ultimately substantiated, Israelis will be forced to confront the possibility that foreign money or illegal activity influenced their democratic election, while senior legal officials declared the results unaffected before completing the investigation.
That is precisely why public trust has collapsed in the justice system. Many Israelis no longer view the justice system as an impartial guardian of the law, but as a political institution that protects the Left and suppresses investigations threatening its preferred outcomes.
Foreign money attempting to influence an Israeli election. Cash or fuel cards allegedly offered for votes. Election workers allegedly pressured or intimidated. An organized apparatus allegedly operating outside polling stations.
The implications would be enormous.
And where is the mainstream media outrage demanding that every stone be overturned before this story is closed?
Instead, the political conversation in the mainstream media is totally focused on pressuring Gadi Eisenkot to include the 19 seats of the two Arab parties to construct a government and topple Netanyahu.
That is backwards.
Before politicians decide who forms Israel’s next government, Israelis deserve complete confidence that kosher votes determined the result.
No conspiracy theories.
But no whitewashing either.
Follow the money. Investigate the fuel cards. Interview every witness. Examine the videos. Determine whether foreign money entered the process and, if so, from whom. Give investigators every lawful tool necessary to uncover the truth.
If the allegations are false, prove that and restore confidence in the election.
If crimes were committed, expose everyone responsible, regardless of party, position or political consequences.
And if foreign actors attempted to manipulate an Israeli election, Israelis deserve to know exactly who was behind it, how they did it and whether it affected the result.
Investigate first. Declare the final conclusions afterward.
I am not naïve. The power accumulated by senior officials within Israel’s justice system makes achieving genuine accountability extraordinarily difficult.
But this is another wake-up moment, another nail in the coffin of public trust in a politicized legal establishment and a political Left that understands it can no longer win the Jewish electorate. In my view, they are now pulling out every stop either to steal the election or prevent a full investigation into allegations that the election itself may have been corrupted.
Still, we will overcome.
As I always say, the Jewish people have overcome far worse throughout more than 2,000 years of exile, persecution and attempted destruction. We are finally home. The red-green jihadi alliance, including the unelected deep-state political left officials who protect its political agenda, will still inflict damage, but their grip is weakening.
This is a similar process happening in countries across the world, including in the USA.
Nothing they do can stop the miraculous redemptive process unfolding before our eyes.
Strengthen your faith. Demand the truth. Do not surrender to despair.
We will emerge from this stronger, clearer and more determined than ever.
Am Yisrael Chai!!!
