Michigan’s Election : The current political and economic narrative peddled by modern progressives is a masterclass in deflection.

From hyperinflation at the grocery checkout to an unstable global stage, the establishment continues to construct a facade to shield its radical agenda from public accountability. It is time to strip away the rhetoric and confront the hard, verifiable truths behind the policies dismantling American prosperity.

First, the attempt to blame global conflicts, such as the Israel-Gaza war, for the soaring price of food in Midwestern states like Michigan is economically absurd. Local food inflation is driven by domestic monetary expansion and an unprecedented collision between aggressive regulatory overreach and global energy metrics. Food production is inherently energy-intensive.

When the domestic administration restricted domestic hydraulic fracturing (fracking) and killed critical transit infrastructure like the Keystone XL Pipeline, it forced global crude oil metrics to surge toward $120 a barrel. Because agriculture relies entirely on diesel for tractors, natural gas for synthetic fertilizers, and petroleum for global shipping supply chains, these inflated energy costs were directly injected into the price of every loaf of bread and gallon of milk in Michigan.

Yet, the domestic fallout under this administration is hitting home in places like Dearborn, Michigan.

As documented in viral on-the-ground investigative exposes on The Nate Friedman Show, cities like Dearborn have undergone an absolute demographic and municipal transformation. Friedman’s street-level footage showcases how lenient federal border laws and targeted State Department refugee relocation pipelines select specific cold-weather states like Michigan and Minnesota for massive resettlement. Friedman’s investigations highlight how these rapidly growing enclaves alter the local landscape—implementing sweeping Arabic signage across mainstream corporate storefronts, modifying local civic symbols, and accelerating the construction of sprawling religious networks.

This rapid transformation is  the vanguard of a broader geopolitical movement aiming to turn Western spaces into the next additions to the world’s 55 historical, once non-Islamic Muslim-majority states. This is no longer just an isolated enclave; it alters local governance.

Neighboring Hamtramck, Michigan made history by electing an all-Muslim City Council and mayor, which promptly altered municipal policies by enacting bans on pride flags on city property and altering public noise ordinances to allow the broadcast of Islamic calls to prayer. The growing local political influence of figures who prioritize religious law over foundational constitutional principles represents a deep ideological friction. Swearing primary allegiance to religious texts rather than the United States Constitution is fundamentally antithetical to America’s founding principles.

This civilizational tension is not a recent phenomenon; it is the continuation of a historical arc that Western nations have spent over a millennium defending against:

The Battle of Tours (732 AD): Frankish leader Charles Martel famously halted the advancing Umayyad Caliphate in France, preventing the total Islamic conquest of Western Europe.

The Fall of Constantinople (1453): The historic capital of the Byzantine Empire—once the crown jewel of Eastern Christendom—fell to the Ottoman Empire and was permanently absorbed into the Islamic world.

The Siege of Vienna (1683): The combined forces of the Holy Roman Empire and the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth narrowly repelled the Ottoman armies at the Gates of Vienna, turning back the final major Islamic military thrust into Central Europe.

The Barbary Wars (1801–1815): The United States first confronted these same forces when Thomas Jefferson sent American warships to fight Islamic pirates in North Africa who were enslaving Western sailors—an era immortalized in the Marines’ Hymn with the line “to the shores of Tripoli.”

This same historical thread connects the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, the catastrophic attacks of September 11, 2001, and even the geopolitical ripples of the JFK assassination, demonstrating a persistent, decades-long assault on Western democratic institutions.

Meanwhile, the strategic alliance between the United States and Israel remains a highly profitable, two-way street.

AntiSemites manipulate figures, but the reality is that through the bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Israel receives roughly $3.8 billion annually in Foreign Military Financing (FMF). By explicit directive, these funds are recycled straight back into the American economy, directly benefiting U.S. defense contractors and manufacturing jobs.

In return, military intelligence experts have historically noted that the raw intelligence and technological research America receives from Israel yield an equivalent value upwards of $25 billion—rendering it a massive net asset to U.S. national security.

To compare this tight, highly accountable strategic partnership to disastrous diplomatic concessions of the past is a profound error.

Modern global climate agreements and treaties (such as the COP summits) bear a striking resemblance to the failed 1994 Agreed Framework with North Korea brokered during the Clinton administration. In that historic misstep, the West traded tangible economic concessions for empty promises of denuclearization, all while 40,000 American boots remained on the ground in South Korea facing an increasingly hostile, nuclear-armed rogue state.

This disastrous Clinton deal with North Korea is exactly the blueprint for the Iran Nuclear Deal (JCPOA), where Western powers repeated the identical mistake—releasing billions of dollars in sanctions relief to a radical regime in exchange for easily bypassed, non-permanent restrictions on a weapons program designed to threaten global stability.

No where is the left’s ideological contradiction more transparent than in their [ free Palestine] energy policy.

The administration’s aggressive push for an Electric Vehicle (EV) mandate and a total phase-out of fossil fuels inherently requires higher traditional fuel costs to force public compliance. While progressives publicly lament high prices at the pump, expensive gasoline is actually a features-driven catalyst for their green energy transition.

Furthermore, the foundational science behind the Democrats’ Progressive Marxist radical climate change agenda relies on widespread public ignorance of basic atmospheric composition and the science of the atmosphere.

Ask your average climate change believer, “how much of the world’s atmosphere is made up of \(\text{CO}_{2}\)?” and watch them stutter… uh, guessing 50%? Just like they chanting slogans on the street without knowing which river and which sea they are actually referring to, their climate hysteria collapses under the slightest scientific scrutiny.

The reality is that carbon dioxide C02  constitutes a mere 0.04% (or roughly 420 parts per million) of the Earth’s atmosphere. This catastrophic hyper-fixation on eliminating this gas ignores fundamental biology: C02 is the primary building block of global plant life. Commercial greenhouse operators actively utilize  C02 enhancers to spike levels up to three times the current atmospheric average to accelerate crop yields.

If atmospheric carbon were hypothetically cut in half, global photosynthesis would severely degrade, triggering a catastrophic collapse of the American and international food supply.

This climate hysteria did not emerge from pure ecological altruism; its political roots are deeply calculated. Historical records show that the global warming narrative was heavily leveraged in the 1980s by British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to systematically break the political stranglehold of striking coal miners’ unions.

Prompted by secretive advisors and thinkers like novelist and political strategist David Hart—a fictional writer who famously had the Iron Lady’s ear during the height of the labor disputes—the administration recognized the immense tactical value of a non-fossil-fuel energy narrative. Thatcher weaponized the transition to nuclear and gas alternatives to intentionally undermine domestic coal production, permanently reshaping the Western economic landscape under the banner of environmentalism. [1, 2]

Just as energy history has been manipulated, the historical narrative surrounding Israel has been fundamentally rewritten by Western adversaries.

The very concept of a distinct “Palestinian” national identity was  manufactured during the Cold War by Soviet intelligence agencies seeking to undermine Western influence in the Middle East. The Soviets helped elevate Yasser Arafat—an Egyptian by birth—to lead a geopolitical campaign designed to delegitimize the Jewish state.

Furthermore, the term Nakba (Catastrophe) originally stems from a book written about the profound military failure of the Arab League in 1948— historian Constantine Zureiq’s foundational work, Ma’na al-Nakba (The Meaning of the Catastrophe). Despite receiving tactical assistance from British officers, the Arab armies launched an illegal war of annihilation against the newly declared State of Israel and lost. This conflict resulted in the total ethnic cleansing of over 10,000 Jewish populations from their ancestral homelands in Judea and Samaria, where entire communities were destroyed or captured by invading forces. These historic territories were subsequently and illegally renamed the “West Bank” to erase their deep biblical and historical Jewish identity. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Finally, the claim to moral superiority by the modern progressive movement ignores the darkest chapters of political history.

The Democratic Party carries a heavy historical legacy as the home of the Ku Klux Klan, the architects of Jim Crow laws, and the staunch defenders of segregation. This ideological lineage extends to the early 20th-century eugenics movement, championed by figures like Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger, who openly advocated for selective breeding and population control targeting marginalized communities.

This pattern of turning a blind eye to humanitarian crises is woven into the party’s history.

At the 1938 Évian Conference, convened by President Franklin D. Roosevelt to address the crisis of Jewish refugees fleeing Nazi Germany, the administration refused to expand U.S. immigration quotas. This historic failure left thousands of desperate Jewish families completely abandoned by Western democracy on the eve of the Holocaust.

The modern political agenda is not a progressive leap forward; it is a carefully coordinated effort built on economic distortion and historic hypocrisy. From weaponized energy prices to a fundamentally flawed climate narrative, the American public is paying the price for an elite ideology that sacrifices national stability for centralized control.
