David Suissa of the Jewish Journal wrote an interesting piece regarding the recent sweep (Bluenami) by the Democrats in America’s midterm elections.
Like many others pondering this matter, he witnessed the backlash of the American public to the rising cost of living, energy, and so forth allegedly due just to the war with Iran.
Of course, for many folks, throughout history, wars have frequently been blamed on Jews, and this one, for sure, would also be an example.
What’s missed here is that for a 9-15 mile wide country which requires a magnifying glass to locate on a world globe as Israel is, constantly being bombarded by tens of thousands of rockets, drones, incendiary devices, ballistic and other size missiles, and having atrocities committed against it by both Iran and its proxies, this war with a huge country ruled by megalomaniacs which openly declares it intends to obliterate “the little satan,” with or without nukes, this war was not a war of choice but of survival.
Two Israels fit into America’s Lake Michigan. Poison gas canisters fitted on top of conventional ballistic missiles are weapons of mass destruction too.
America reluctantly got into this war late in the game only when it became apparent that the mullahs were also obtaining ICBMs which could reach our own nation, and was on the verge of nuclear breakout. Prime Minister Netanyahu didn’t “convince” Trump to become entangled this way, as VP Vance’s good buddy, vile antisemite Tucker Carlson and others of his ilk (like Abdul El-Sayed, His Dishonor Mamdummy, Hasan Piker) proclaim.
For Israel, this was obviously even more important. It is branded the “one (nuke) bomb” nation by its existential enemies.
Here’s David Suissa’s interesting piece…
Will Trump Blame Bibi for Bluenami?
The main reason the war with Iran has been so costly in many respects, leading to American voter backlash, is actually very simple.
Yes, it would have been expensive, but if carried out properly, its dividends would have been worth it in the long run.
America never fought this war with the modern day equivalent of genocidal Nazi Germany or Imperial Japan the way President Truman fought in WWII…
The Difference Two Letters in an American Leader Make.
Facing opposition at home, Truman realized that for the LONG TERM good, both of those murderous regimes would have to be completely destroyed, with true UNCONDITIONAL Surrender and TOTAL victory being America’s goals…
Unconditional Surrender & Total Victory
The IRGC ànd Basij military support system of the maniacal mullahs needed to be hunted down and eliminated as much as possible the same way the Waffen SS Stormtroopers, Gestapo, and other Nazi military were.
This required more than naval and air power in WWII, ànd did so now as well.
General Colin Powell’s doctrine of overwhelming power needed to be put into play, and it wasn’t.
We relied too much on air power alone.
We had/have willing and able allies in the region willing to be of great assistance had Trump not been in bed with butcher Hamas-loving Turkey and Qatar. And the Saudis as well.
The Kurds, if given anywhere near what we so generously supplied Arabs, who mostly hate but tolerate us because we protect their oil and personal derrières, are 43 million truly stateless people and FORMIDABLE fighters.
And they’ve been repeatedly screwed by America in return for their shared democratic values and actually liking America…
It’s Now Official: American Betrayal of Its Loyal, Valiant Kurdish Allies is Underway.
President Trump’s former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo recognized the value and plight of America’s loyal Kurdish friends and allies, but because too Turks ànd Arabs see these people as foes (Kurds predate both on their ancestral homeland by millennia), Trump and the State Department have usually just used them and then pulled the rug out from under their feet, as Pulitzer Prize winning journalist William Safire and
Daniel Schorr wrote decades ago…
The Kurds deserve better — how the US can support an ally’s bid for freedom
A combined Kurdish ground offensive, supported by American and Israeli air power, ànd àn American overwhelming shock and awe ground invasion as well, could have accomplished what Truman did some three quarters of a century ago.
These armored brigades and infantry forces would have been joined by a new, assured Iranian civilian uprising.
Additionally, our CIA and military should have been in touch with and supplying Iran’s own pre-Islamic Revolution loyal military, the Artesh–often rivals, if not outright opponents, of the IRGC, and deliberately under supplied by the mullahs. They answered to the Shahs in the pre-Islamic Revolution past.
All together, with proper planning and coordination, this war was indeed winnable in the true sense.
The ayatollahs and mullahs needed to be booted out, replaced by more moderate clerics, and America needed to stay the course as it did in Germany ànd Japan, working with thousands of retuning Iranian ex-patriots to build a new, free, democratic future.
Germany ànd Japan are thriving democracies today, not posing threats or attacking anyone.
This could have been Iran as well.
So many countless thousands of Iranians died longing for such a future—one The Donald strongly hinted he would bring to them, but got sidetracked along the way with family business interests with black African and Asian slaver, trillionaire autocratic Arab oil despots, and so forth.
So, with the midterm elections now history, while the antisemites have won the day, with VP Vance in the lead, the Jews, and the Jew of the Nations will, once again, be blamed.
But here’s what could have been had this war been carried out differently…
America as a new ‘light unto the nations,” or I hate to say I told you so…
