PELONI: Patrick Colbeck returns to challenge the outcome of the current election. The simple matter of having a transparent elections result would seem to be a pivotal requirement of government when the accuracy of an election result is the only basis on which the consent of the governed is elevated to choose the political representatives who will fulfill the governing duties of the next govt. Unfortunately, the capture of such institutions in America is controlled by those who have an unending disdain for the American people, who demand trust without verification, and demonstrate the obvious need for election reform which was ignored by the previous congress and which may now end such considerations for all time given the overwhelming control which this recent election result handed to the Democrats who don’t even entertain the pretense of interest in such reforms as was only mimed by the now lame duck Republican Congress. It is not too late for the defeated Republican Party to act with speed and responsibility so as to return the consent of the governed to the American people, but the question remains as to why they were so resolved not to do so when it might have secured at least a potential for the Republicans holding some element of power in Washington. To this point, recall that many Republican officials were themselves connected to many elements of the rigged election back in 2020, and it might explain why the Republicans were still resolved to not pursue election reform even to the point of their being illicitly dispossessed of all authority in the govt.

Nope. Election officials need to “show us their math.”
That means we need full transparency into the full chain of custody (digital and physical) for our election records: Voter Rolls, Poll Books, Ballots, Vote Tallies.
That means that they need to pop the hood on the electronic voting systems and conduct transparent Physical Configuration Audits along with all of the log files on digital record transfers much like is necessary for physical record transfers.
We are WELL beyond believing that recounts and the “just look at the ballots” nonsense is sufficient to determine election integrity.
NOPE…when audited by the IRS they demand that you do more than check your math on your 1040. You need to bring the receipts.
They need to PROVE that the election was conducted in a lawful manner. They need to bring the receipts. They need to be 100% transparent.
I am tired of playing their game of shifting the burden of proof to #MeddlingKids such as myself to prove malfeasance as they prevent our access to the records that would undeniably prove such malfeasance.
Make no mistake, though, I and others will do that despite the fatigue.
Bottom line?
I do not trust election officials such as MI SoS Jocelyn “we will come for you” Benson…and I am not alone. Benson’s own attorney said that she only follows the laws that she agrees with and that if you don’t like that you can sue her. She has been sued and at least 8 different courts have ruled that she issued unlawful guidance to election officials. Now, she is reported to have been elected as MI Governor in the wake of her unlawful guidance.
There is a 1-word solution to this lack of trust in our election results…TRANSPARENCY.
Thank you to all of you who have responded to my call to action for the collection of tabulator tapes on election night. Thank you to all of the election officials who facilitated such collections. That’s a good start.
In the wake of the #2026Election, thousands of FOIA requests are going to be issued across the nation (I’ve already begun). If trust in our election results is to have any chance at restoration, these record requests must be satisfied quickly for reasonable costs.
I know there are many honest, hardworking election officials throughout the land. They will have no problem responding to such requests in a timely manner.
Not all election officials (e.g. Jocelyn Benson and Jonathan Brater) can be described in this way, though. In the past, they have used intimidation tactics and unlawful directives to prevent transparency. Such actions destroy any opportunity for trust in the integrity of our elections.
We have a limited window between now and county certifications which are planned for sometime around November 17 followed shortly thereafter by state certifications of elections.
I for one intend to collect and analyze as many election records as possible prior to these certification deadlines.
