The following analysis in the USA Today recounts much of what other analysts have also been observing and discussing over the years since the post-2023 October 7th butchery in Israel, and for decades prior to this as well…
I’ve been calling for American contacts with those same Artesh, loyal pre-Arabized/Islamized Iranian armed forces discussed in the above link, before the Ayatollahs’s takeover of the country.
If the CIA and the American military establishment have not cultivated this important relationship in preparation for the retaking of Iran, then shame on us.
For many years we had very good relations with these loyal Iranian military officers who often trained at American military bases and were equipped with our advanced weaponry.
Unfortunately, after 1979, many of these folks were purged and executed, but undoubtedly much resentment and hope remained for a day when Iran could once again hope for something better—not a regime of an all powerful, feared Shah, but certainly not one crushed by a fanatical tyranny of theological, genocidal, maniacs either.
Many Iranian expatriates have taken up residence abroad, and I have been blessed to have made a good friend with one, Professor Habib Eslami, of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida…
Love of Two Lands: The Pursuit of Freedom in Iran
Along with the scion of the royal House of Pahlavi who now resides in the Washington, D.C. area, and scores of thousands of Iranian students here and in other Western democratic countries as well, there’s a good potential for success in transforming Iran into a modern version of post-WWII Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan…both now great democratic friends and allies of America and non-threatening to their neighbors.
There’s no “perfect” choices as to who Iran’s next leader should be. The Donald isn’t thrilled with the exiled Pahlavi heir, but he routinely curses out America’s best friend and ally, Prime Minster Netanyahu of Israel, as well.
Ideally, the people themselves will finally get the true “republic” the alleged Islamic “Republic” of Iran the maniacal mullahs claimed it to be.
As the King of England serves now as an important figurehead for the nation, so too Israel’s President, while both nations’s Prime Ministers really hold positions of authority, the new Shah in exile can serve in a very important similar position in Iran…

A wonderful footnote in history has those same pre-Islamic Sasanid and other Persian armed forces aiding Judaea in its fight for freedom and independence against Rome and Byzantium in most of the Jewish Peoples’s four major revolts, from 66 C. E. through the last in the early part of the 7th century C.E., just a few decades before the massive invasion of both of their ancient ancestral homelands by hordes of alien Arab colonizing, settling, caliphal imperial invaders who poured out of a fast desiccating Arabian Peninsula, literally in search of greener pastures to steal from both of their (and other conquered peoples’s) lands in the name of ARABISM and the ever expanding Dar ul-Islam.
Arabs then had the audacity to claim themselves as the only true ancestral owners of the lands they stole, settled, and colonized…and got gazillions of ignorant know nothings to but into their fairytales and obfuscations.
Returning to the present, America needs to build up the Artesh military, which, while integrated by the mullahs to defend the Iranian homeland while the IRGC was formed to protect the regime and defended its supremacist ideology, the Artesh subsequently had its top generals executed by the mullahs.
To avoid a coup, the mullahs then deprived the Artesh of advanced weaponry that the IRGC received instead, along with its Basij terror militia which specializes in murdering fellow Iranians.
While it may be hard to swallow for some people, wars are NOT really won by aerial bombardment alone.
Using General Colin Powell’s Doctrine of swift, concentrated, overwhelming force with US tank brigades leading the invasion along with Israeli and American air cover, and, if possible, a coordinated attack by loyal Artesh units, the Iranian people, supplied at specified air drop places with weapons, will then regain the courage to join in the hunting down and extermination of their alien, Arabized conquerors who have tormented them from the 7th century C.E. onwards.
As was done with Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany, after punishing aerial bombardment, the overthrow of those genocidal regimes was vigorously carried out.
It cost America more in the short term, but because we stayed the course and persisted, hunted down ON THE GROUND and killed or captured as many of our deadly enemies as possible (after firebombing and nuking them from above) to actually achieve the total victory and unconditional surrender of our genocidal foes at that time, we now have free and democratic friends and allies in Japan and Germany today.
The same can be true for the oppressed masses of Iranian people.
The next move should combine General Colin Powell’s doctrine of swift, punishing, overwhelming force led by American tank brigades and ground troops in coordination with Iran’s own pre-Arabized/Islamized loyal Artesh military forces—which we should have been in touch with by now.
New leaders should have been brought for training at American bases, in preparation of a ground offensive which would include these folks as well, in touch with their troops in Iran.
The Artesh and the IRGC are bitter enemies—one group loyal to Iran’s proud, pre-Arab conquest Islamized history and past, and the other wanting nothing to do with them at all.
Spreading the 12’er Shi’a version of Islamic dominance and world wide conquest are its goals and collective raison d’etre.
America should involve the Artesh as significantly as possible so that it can’t be said later that “foreign imperialists” and Zionists were responsible for the destruction of this genocidal regime.
Substantial weapons should be dropped at designated locations so that capable civilians can arm themselves to join in on the search and destroy operations to deal the final death blows, and the final assault must go on non stop, with no more stalling for time phony deal making.
The regime must be entirely eradicated along with its Waffen SS counterparts in the terrorist IRGC and Basij, and America must keep administrators, supervisors, and military forces nearby to assure no resurgence of any trouble.
If we weren’t serious about achieving total victory and unconditional surrender, then we shouldn’t have gotten involved in this war in the first place.
Another Viet Nam, Afghanistan, and so forth was not on the shopping list.
But doing this in the most correct and moral way, which addresses the Iranian people’s interest as well as that of others’s energy issues, requires our extra sacrifice at this time, much of which can and should be returned to us via Iranian black gold and permanent military bases in the area on various islands Iran must forfeit for causing constant terror and turmoil, and forcing this war upon us in the first place…
