A “Radical Muslim.” What is That?

Peloni:  Take note of this article and the reality that the greatest obstacle to peace in the region is by those who refuse to acknowledge that reality from fiction.  So long as the fiction of Palestinian nationalism is used to cloak the honest motivation of the destruction of Israel as the basis which divides the parties in the Middle East, every effort to push peace forward will result in war, specifically because it is founded upon the same falsehood that the underpinned the tragedy of Oslo.

Even right-wing, Israel-supporters use the term, but it is less than honest, almost Orwellian, like so much of anti-Israel hate-speech these days.

“Radical” derives from the Latin “radix” meaning “root,” but “radical Muslim” suggests an extremist out there on the fringes of Islam, not representative of the core of this religious community, when “radical” should mean the opposite of unrepresentative. The radical Muslim is the one rooted more than others in the heart of Islam.

The use of the term shields the user from being accused of implying all Muslims are like these “radicals” known for their satanic violence (a.k.a. terrorism). A similarly evasive neologism is “Islamists” that also expresses the idea they are separate from the generality of the Umma, the international congregation of Believers in the One True Faith.

But is it so that most Muslims are not “radical” as that word today connotes, i.e. supportive of ghastly acts of terrorist cruelty? There is no evidence of that, versus the numerous reports of Muslims celebrating on October 7. On 9-11 no less, there are videos of smiling Muslims in their communities around the world, and the public handing out of candy in the streets to passersby.

The celebrants may possibly not be representative of the generality of Muslims, but far more important is the perfect absence of any manifestation of Arab Muslims opposed to such evil in the name of Islam. There is zero criticism whatsoever in Islam of their terrorists. In Muslim communities, one dare not publicly speak out against anti-Jew horrors for fear of being murdered by their homicidal sex maniacs.

Consider as well what began as early as October 8, 2023, the alleged distinction in the Gaza population between Hamas and the “innocent Palestinian civilians.” Indeed, President Biden’s JINO Secretary of State Antony Blinken opined that when IDF operations began, their first priority must be the safety and well-being of the “Palestinian civilians” and not the Israeli army’s pursuit of their sadistic criminals.

Even Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu initially looked forward to a better future for the people in Gaza after Israel defeated Hamas – and never mind these people were the same “innocent Palestinians” who in 2006 voted the Muslim Brotherhood (Hamas) into power. Thus, in a flash, they were cleansed of their culpability in the horrors of the day before.

Islam means submission and that is a great value in their culture. But it is not the fault of the Western imperialists who created numerous Arab states after the two world wars that, in state after state, the people lived submissively under the medieval tyranny of Saddam Hussein in Iraq and his two psychopathic sons; and the neighboring sultan in Syria Hafez al-Assad and his son Bashar; and Ali Abdallah Saleh in Yemen; and Muammar Gaddafi in Libya; and the communist FLN clique in Algeria; and Zine El Abidine Ben Ali in Tunisia. The tragic truth about Islam is that its adherents never outgrew its founders’ tribal roots and developed a nationalist identity, a patriotic identity, meaning love of the land on which a nation came to life, which is one result of a religion that regards patriotism as a rival for one’s core identity. Islam hates nationalism/patriotism and yearns for a monolithic adherence to Islam as a person’s largest group identity, not any affection for a nationality and its geography, unique language, unique cuisine, folklore and history.

Indeed, one ingredient of Jew-hatred is envy that the Jews over thousands of years in every generation have had enough devotees of the classic Jewish way of life, e.g. keeping the Sabbath and practicing the spiritual discipline of the dietary kosher system, to keep it alive from generation to generation, praying daily for a return to their ancient homeland. Jews are hated as a by-product of envying the unique immortality of this people unequalled in human history. What other nation can claim to be speaking and reading and writing the language of their ancestors thousands of years in the past in the same country and practicing the same religion? In what other nation can an archaeologist unearth an object thousands of years old, inscribed with what looks like writing, read it and understand it?

Versus Islam which hates the facts of history. In Los Angeles, Jewish parents have sued the Unified School district for using teaching materials on Israel perfectly divorced from the historical record. They describe Israel as colonialist, when colonies commonly were planted as outposts of a distant empire for the purpose of exploiting the colony’s natural resources. The colony was established and administered by the home country — versus the Zionist movement that came to life unsupported by any empire. Its pioneers were unpaid, idealistic volunteers who came of their own volition, unsent by any foreign power, to drain swamps and die from malaria, to a land with almost no natural resources to exploit.

f This is no more factual than the founding Muslim belief that one night Muhammad mounted a winged horse in Mecca, flew across the sky to the Land of Israel, landed on the Jews’ holiest site, jumped up into the sky through the seven heavens the Jews reference in their Talmud, saw all the Jewish prophets in the Jewish Bible and understood he had become the last and greatest prophet of them all.

In historical fact, Israel never was a colony of any empire, and as for apartheid, an Afrikaans word, that was the name of a social system of skin color as a foundational marker of identity and rights, enforced in South Africa from 1950 to 1994, when Judaism and Zionism never said a word about anybody’s skin color. The charge of apartheid is functionally delusional.

This is the mindset of the Arabs in which history is whatever they want it to be. They spread the lie that foreign Zionists invaded Palestine after WWII to steal it from the indigenous “Palestinian” people in residence for thousands of years and were given permission to do so by the United Nations that believed in the Jewish lie of a Holocaust that never happened.

This is Israel’s enemy. Islam is nothing but the Jewish religion and history purloined and perverted, e.g. Ibrahim was the first Muslim who bound his son Isma’il for sacrifice in Mecca. One of Islam’s Five Commandments requires a Believer to make the pilgrimage at least once in a lifetime to the site of the binding in Mecca, with the implicit corollary that the Jewish Torah lies for writing the son bound was “Eeshhok.”

In the 1990s, Egypt-born and Muslim Brotherhood-raised, Yasir Arafat even began claiming that Jesus was a “Palestinian” just like him.

This is the enemy’s fantasy life that via their infernal violence has injected into mankind the fairy-tale history of the “evil” Jews being alien to their biblically Promised Land, whose Bible contains a thousand years of Jewish national life in the country, and the fiction that in history there was a “Palestinian” people there that the Jews stole from them.

Versus famous American novelist Herman Melville who made the pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1857 and described it a “caked…depopulated Hell,” and fellow American novelist Mark Twain who came a decade later and said the Holy Land sits in “sackcloth and ashes.” Neither wrote a word of meeting any “Palestinians” living in the mournful wastes that Islam had made of the country over 1,300 years of no development, no construction, no community, no “Palestinian” government, no “Palestinian” army fighting to defend its land as the Jews did against Assyrians, Babylonians, Greeks and Romans.

Israel’s problem is not “Palestinian” nationalism and the alleged right to a “Palestinian state” that Israel won’t let them have. The problem is Islam that over fourteen centuries mistreated the Jews, per the Koran’s commandment they be “oppressed and humiliated,” and cannot tolerate Jews living free and not submitting to Islam.

The “Palestinian narrative” is nothing but a cosmic lie about the Jews.
