An ABSOLUTE DISGRACE! IDF Legal Persecution of it’s Ground Troops.

Peloni:  Amid the ongoing war which will change the face of the Middle East, the Israeli Deep State continues it war of control at the cost of unity, fair governance and any sense of equitability, all of which is most appreciably relevant amid the ongoing war.  This is a proper setting for MAG Ofir to intervene and, unlike his predecessor’s notorious intervention in the Yemeni Fields Affair, to end what should be understood by all to be a contemptible, destabilizing and unjust policy.  In this regard, Ofir should act immediately as it not only stands as a moral imperative, but it simultaneously represents a very real threat to the very men and women who stand on the front line of the nation’s battles across all its many battle fronts.

G_d Bless, preserve and protect the men and women of the IDF!

A shocking post by Major Dov Yudkin

Please read every word:

By order of the Military Advocate General – Major General Itai Ofir, a team of fighter pilots was arrested by the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division immediately upon landing in Israel after a strike in Iran.

A team of pilots who returned from a complex and deep mission in Iran landed at Ramat David base after hours in the air. Even before they had time to remove their helmets—Military Police investigators were waiting for them on the runway and arrested them.

Not an operational debrief.
Not a conversation with commanders.
An arrest.

The pilots were taken for questioning on suspicion of causing collateral damage to innocent civilians during the strike.

The pilots were immediately suspended from all operational activity until the investigation is completed.

Does that sound reasonable to you?

I assume that for most of you this sounds inconceivable.

You’re probably thinking to yourselves:
Is this how fighters are treated when they return from an operational mission?

So here’s the thing.

Maybe this doesn’t happen to Air Force pilots.

But it does happen to fighters in the ground forces.

Since October 7, about 800 fighters and commanders in the ground forces have been suspended from operational activity following Military Police investigations into operational incidents.

Soldiers who were in combat.
Commanders who made decisions under fire.
People who led soldiers in battle.

And in recent years we are talking about a huge number—about 6,000 fighters suspended from activity over operational incidents.

And I am one of them.

Major (res.) Dov Yudkin, a reserve company commander, brother of Captain Israel Yudkin, of blessed memory.

I was suspended from reserve service until the year 2049 after almost two continuous years of fighting and reserve duty—rotation after rotation.

This followed a Military Police investigation into an incident in which:

No one was killed.
No one was injured.
And I wasn’t even physically present at the scene of the incident.

And still—the investigation continues.

All the time they talk to us about “one army.”

But the truth must be said:

There is one army for the Air Force and certain other corps…

And there is another army—for the ground forces.

The ground forces, the backbone of the fighting,
have become the most neglected arm in the IDF.

The most overloaded.
The most worn down.
And the most exposed to criminal investigations over decisions made under fire.

And the military prosecution?

Since the Military Advocate General entered the position—almost nothing has been done to stop this failure.

Fighters need to know that the state stands behind them when they go into battle.

Because if commanders start thinking first about a Military Police investigation—before they think about how to defeat the enemy, then we have a much bigger problem than we realize.

I call on the Military Advocate General to act immediately and stop this disgrace and failure.

  1. Send those F***ing lawyers to the front to get a dose of their own medicine.
Send the Military police there too!

I’m reminded of the story about an engineer who mistakenly lands in Hell. After air-conditioning the whole of Hell, the news got around and God came by to get his engineer back. The devil said no, and God said he would sue. The devil asked, “Where will you get your lawyer?”
