Yamit, I was not endeavoring to answer the question. I merely was pointing out that Westerners seem to recoil from asking that question.
I would like to believe that on reflection you would agree that your likening all Arabs to animals and from there presuming that Arabs murder out of animal instinct is not right or fair.
The question really should be put, why do Islamic radicals murder? It is easy to first say since they claim to murder in the name of Islam, that it is Islam that teaches them to murder, compels them to do so and it is Islam that justifies their murderous actions.
What of those other Arabs however who follow Islam, but do not murder, do not engage or believe in terrorism? You might say that most such Muslims who are not Jihadists themselves, still support with money and moral support the Jihadist’s terrorism.
That may be true, but still there are some Arabs who do not support or believe in the ways of Jihad. That raises further questions. Is it Islam alone that is the cause of radical Islam? Alternatively, is it some other factor(s) that acts independently or in combination with Islam and the Islamic culture that moves Islamic radicals to hate and murder not only infidels, but their own?
Bill you are thinking within the western orientated frame of reference and seeking either religious, sociological, psychological and political reasons.
Try this on for size: They kill because it is in their nature to do so. Before the Jews they killed ea. other and everybody else. They still do!

Not only do most Westerners and indeed Western, including Israeli leaders not dare publically ask and try to answer the question, why do Arabs murder?, one can only conclude that privately they very deliberately avoid asking themselves that same question.
Instead Western leaders analyze the Muslim Middle East and the Israeli – Arab/Palestinian wars to formulate their policies within the context of wished for realities in a way that seeks to distract Westerners from ever asking themselves “why do Arabs murder?”. To ask that question risks getting answers that would get in the way of Western leaders maintaining illusions and delusions as necessary to further their own national interests, usually at the expense of Israel.
Pro-Israel advocacy would do well to press for that question and so many others like it to be asked in all public forums and when opportunity does not present itself to do so, make that opportunity happen.
