Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar firmly rejected the prospect of a Palestinian state during his visit to Washington on Wednesday, declaring to reporters, “There will not be a Palestinian state.”

The remark came following what Sa’ar described as a “very good” meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, where the two discussed pressing regional issues including Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the growing threat posed by Iran’s regime.

The pair did not take questions from the press prior to the meeting, but Sa’ar’s post-meeting comments signal a clear reaffirmation of Israel’s position against unilateral international efforts to impose a two-state framework. His statement also comes amid growing pressure from some Western governments to recognize a Palestinian state, a move Israel argues would reward terrorism and embolden Hamas.

Sa’ar’s clarity stands in stark contrast to recent diplomatic ambiguity surrounding postwar planning for Gaza. His statement leaves no room for misinterpretation: Jerusalem will not accept a sovereign Palestinian entity particularly one that could empower terror groups or destabilize the region further.

The Israeli foreign minister is also scheduled to meet Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who visited Israel in May following the murder of two employees at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, a reminder of the growing threats faced by Israeli diplomatic staff abroad.

Rubio, now leading the State Department, also met separately with IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi to discuss global nuclear safety and monitoring activities in Iran, where IAEA inspectors have just returned following June’s brief but devastating 12-day war between Israel and Iran. The talks emphasized the challenge of re-establishing oversight in a country where parts of the regime actively resist international transparency.

Grossi noted the complexity of resuming inspections in Iran, stating: “For some in Iran, the presence of international inspectors is detrimental to their international security. For some, that is not the case.”

In this shifting geopolitical landscape, Sa’ar’s rejection of a Palestinian state reasserts Israel’s security-first doctrine, especially in light of failed ceasefires, ongoing hostage situations, and regional instability stoked by Iran and its terror proxies.

As international conversations about Gaza’s future continue, Israel remains resolute: no statehood for a Palestinian entity that refuses to disarm, recognize Israel, or renounce terror.

BOOM! This is what standing for justice, morality, human rights and against evil really looks like.

Senator Marco Rubio, now Secretary of State, just dropped a diplomatic bombshell ahead of the upcoming UN General Assembly, and it’s exactly the kind of bold leadership we’ve been waiting for.

Rubio is DONE playing games with the Palestinian Authority and the PLO.

    Here’s what he just announced:

“In accordance with American law, I’m revoking and denying visas for PLO and PA officials who were planning to attend the UN General Assembly. The days of rewarding terror with global platforms are OVER.”

“The Trump administration was clear, and we are continuing that clarity: The PLO and PA are not peace partners. They’ve broken their promises. They incite violence. And they continue to glorify terrorism, including the horrific October 7th massacre.”

“ Before they can ever be considered serious partners for peace, the Palestinian leadership must do THREE things:

    1. Consistently denounce terrorism – no more excuses.
    2. End the incitement in their schools – stop poisoning children’s minds.
    3. Stop bypassing negotiations through international lawfare at the ICC and ICJ.”

    Rubio didn’t stop there.

“These campaigns to unilaterally push for Palestinian statehood are undermining peace, empowering Hamas, and blocking hostage negotiations. Enough is enough.”

Now, yes, due to the UN Headquarters Agreement, the Palestinian delegation in New York will still be allowed to attend. But the message is loud and clear:

“The United States is open to engagement ONLY if the PA and PLO follow the law, keep their promises, and choose the path of compromise and peaceful coexistence with Israel.”

This is leadership. This is accountability. This is how one fights evil diplomatically.

No more free passes for terror-supporting regimes.

Bravo, Rubio and President Trump. This is how you support America’s interests, the whole freedom loving world, and the most reliable U.S. ally in the world.

    Am Yisrael Chai!!!

    • Revoking and denying visas for Palestinian representatives is a wonderful message, but the UN might just decide to move to new premises in Doha or somewhere else on the Arabia peninsula. That would also be wonderful and show us what world politics is really made of!

      • “In 1988, a General Assembly session was moved to Geneva to allow Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) leader Yasser Arafat to address the body. The U.S. had denied him a visa to enter New York, so the meeting was relocated to the UN’s European headquarters to permit his participation.”
