Just ONE day after an Islamic terrorist murdered 14 Americans in New Orleans — and with reports linking him to the same radical mosque network as Imam Furqan Sayed — Houston officials invited Sayed to deliver an Islamic prayer at a county government meeting.
DID YOU HEAR THAT?
This isn’t just bad timing – it’s a national security disgrace.
Furqan Sayed isn’t just any imam. He leads Masjid Abubakr, one of ISGH’s mosques with a deep track record of Islamic supremacy:
Hosted the daughter of Holy Land Foundation terrorist Shukri AbuBaker — a convicted Hamas financier
Partnered with groups tied to Al Qaeda-linked Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-e-Islami
Brought in a speaker who claimed Jews were behind 9/11
Connected to Muslim Brotherhood front groups like MAS and ICNA
And it gets worse.
After the New Orleans massacre, instead of urging cooperation with law enforcement, ISGH told its members NOT to talk to the FBI!
Instead referred all inquiries to CAIR, a Hamas-linked organization labeled an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history.
This is who Harris County chose to honor?
And what did Imam Sayed preach in his “prayer”?
He spoke of justice, trust, and truth — quoting the Quran and invoking Muhammad’s words.
But let’s be clear: in Islamic doctrine, “justice” doesn’t mean fairness under American law. It means strict adherence to Sharia (Islamic law).
It’s the same ideological manipulation the Muslim Brotherhood used to justify the murder of Christians and burning of churches in Egypt — all under the banner of “freedom and justice.”
So while families are still burying their dead, your elected officials platformed an imam echoing the same religious-political language that fuels jihad.
Islamic networks like ISGH are embedding themselves into our public institutions — and cowardly Texas politicians are rolling out the red carpet.
No more prayers from terror-linked mosques.
No more legitimacy for extremists.
No more betrayal of the people of Texas..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_LjTGK0ZZU This is an article about another massacre of American soldiers by a Muslim serving in the U.S. army. This dude was stationed in Kuwait during the U.S. military operations there against the Saddam Hussein regime’s conquest of that country. He threw a bomb into the tent where the soldiers of his own unit was camped, killing and wounding many of his own “buddies.”
@Adam At first, I thought you were referring to the other Hasan on death row for massacring his fellow soldiers.
I had posted something about this recently in which I had mentioned a dinner table debate I once had with a liberal/progressive who astonished me by saying statistics showed that the death penalty is not a deterrent.
😀 Yes, well, in the light of this situation, I can see his point, now.
I’m reminded of the line from “Dr. Strangelove (1964): “The whole point of the Doomsday Machine is lost if you keep it a secret!”

Here is the link to the extremely informative YouTube podcast . The terrorist attack was perpetrated by a U.S. army psychiatrist of Palestinian origin, who murdered 14 fellow officers and wounded at least 32 at a registration and assignment meeting for U.S. army physicians. It occurred at an army base in Louisiana in 2014. The army hnd the FBI ignored numerous “red flags” that he was likely to do something like this, He is sentenced to be executed for his crime in 2025, although the exact date has not been sent.
Peloni’s explanation doesn’t explain about the massacre in Louisiana. I just watched an excellent podcast on Youtube that does explain the story of the massacre, the date it occurred, the lead-up to it over several years, the perpetraitor amd his personal history, the numerous “red flags” pointing in the direction that the perpetrator, an army psychiatrist of Palestinian descent and a devout Muslim, was likely to commit an act of terrorism.
Oh hell. I forgot to include a link to this article, which will enable the reader to understand the factual background needed to understand of this article. It is not self-explanatory.
@Adam
There is a link in the body of the article as explanation, as I noted in my earlier response. Perhaps you missed it. Here is the link:

What is the date of this post? And what are the dates of the events described in it? I don’t recall any reports of a massacre by an Islamic fanatic in Houston over the past year. Of course my memory could be defective. But I can’t remember one recently. This post is undated, which itself is unusual for Israpundit. Peloni, please please provide clarification concerning the dates of the events described by “Mek.” and by the way, who is this “Mek?” and what is “RAIR Foundation USA?”
@Adam
This was less than 24hrs old when I posted it and there is hyperlink to the source on X. The terror attack took place on this past Jan.1 – I added a link to the report for clarity. As Mek explains, the terror attack wasn’t in Houston, but in Louisiana. If you re-read the first paragraph, it will clarify your confusion related to Houston and Louisiana.

I consider Mek to be a highly credible and important news source for important breaking stories related to the Islamist and Communist ideologies. She has broken many stories which are routinely ignored by the media, and this story above is just the latest example of this.
I hope this helps.
