Livni is an example why women should never be elected to public office…. First principle do no harm.
Faced with a dishonest interlocutor whose entire presentation is sophistry, Livni never seized the initiative. She was plaintive and defensive rather than forceful in answering the absurd slander that inverted aggressor and victim.
Since Israel was founded, the Palestinians have engaged in homicidal violence intended to destroy the Jewish State. It is grotesquely dishonest for a British propagandist to misrepresent the Jew haters as being victims, and it is bigoted for him to condemn Israelis for asserting the human right of self-defense.
But Livni is haplessly ineffectual. Israel has a great case to make (not that the British care), and she is powerless to make it. If you are going to waste time trying to convince England that Jews are human beings possessing the right to survive, be aggressive and emphatically define who is good and who is evil. Attack the anti-Semitic lies and the anti-Semitic liars who tell them..
Netanyahu does it well, although I believe that he is wasting his breath when reasoning with the Euros. Livni lacks the personal strength to dominate even this effeminate English Nancyboy.
