With all due respect to Ben Shapiro, East Jerusalem is under Israeli control. Jews live there among the majority Arabs. The divider was removed after 1967. Hadassah Hospital, the Kotel, the Jewish Quarter, Hebrew university are all located in “east Jerusalem. The city has not been divided since 1967. Jews live on the Mt of Olives. I walk to the Kotel a lot. It is just as safe or unsafe as it always was. Arabs are still capable of violence., anywhere they go. The attacks on pedestrians in Jerusalem last year happened in both parts of the city. East Jerusalem is Israel, period. There is no Palestine, only areas administered by the PA. These are usually no-go zones for Jews, like every PA city.
