@ Woolly Mammoth:
Hi, Woolly. Your assessment is better than anything I can come up with. However, why Israel feels it can trust the CCP, is beyond me. I will say that for all their power and aggressiveness, they do have a predictability about them; and perhaps Israel’s leaders think they are manageable; but this does not seem like a good overall plan. As General Michael Flynn noted, China has two very strong alliances (economic and military) with the Soviet Union, Pakistan, Iran and other players; and their posture on the international stage has been, for the most part, anti-Israel.
The US is definitely a difficult country to partner with, because we are so internally divided. I see no reason not to view Israel in a similar light. If the Left in Israel were to partner with the Left in the US, I think we can expect disasters in both countries.
Meanwhile, Israel has a unique plan in God’s eyes. I don’t know His timetable, but He did ordain that Beit haMikdash (NOT the Roman army barracks on the “Temple Mount”) should become a “house of prayer for all gentiles”, as well as for the Jews; and I don’t believe He has allowed it to be buried and protected by an immovable covering of pillars and huge stones for 1950 years, for it to be consigned to oblivion. I believe there are interesting days ahead.
At present, The United States is more in line with Europe than Israel.
The Biden Administration treats Israel as a liability it is stuck with, rather than a principal ally, Washington is proud to partner with.
For these and other reasons, I can understand why Israel would want to maintain strong ties to other powerful nations or superpowers, such as to lessen their dependency on an unpredictable alliance with The Biden Administration.
There is a lot of posturing going on. Israel wants to communicate it’s freedom to re-calibrate it’s national security priorities independent of threats emanating from a multitude of sources, mostly as a result of the change in government of The USA. Notice how the ICC immediately signals it’s wishes to sanction Israel and rule against it. Thanks Biden.
If there really is a watertight alliance between Israel and the Abraham Accords fellows, Israel will have a cash infusion such that it will NOT be dependant upon aid from The US should The Biden threaten sanctions upon Israel. Almost a certainty, if…….
There is nothing Israel has to fear from any Chinese company fulfilling a contract in Haifa, Fake News “Zack”.
The Israpundit Community have jumped ship. This is possibly the end of Israpundit.

Woolly, I’m not nuts. I don’t trust you, nor many folks here (Poloni seems honest). Our Coast Guardsmen can go anywhere they’re WELCOME; and obviously they’re not welcome in Israel. On the other hand, Israel welcomes the Chinese to not only inspect, but to control their most important port. It’s their right to do so, but it bares their hand pretty clearly.
Aye Captain… This post is unsubstantiated poppycock, pure and simple.
The US Coast Guard do not operate in foreign ports. They are confined to US territorial Waters. Israel has it’s own national security systems.
Are you nuts? That….is a rhetorical question.
Israpundit has been breached The My Pillow Invertebrates.
You notice everyone except for me has new jumped ship.
This video, as well as the others, is an example of unsubstantiated poppycock.
Israpundit is 1/2 dead and headed for obscurity in a bread basket.
Soon it will be too late to visit the Mikvah and ALL will be lost.
I am certain Israel knows precisely what the Chinese are doing, Zack. Israel is suspicious of all, so do not worry.
More unsubstantiated poppycock?
Israel was not fully cooperating with the US even under President Trump, prefering to side with China:
” Feb 1, 2021
“Israel’s government declined a request last year by the Trump administration to allow the US Coast Guard to inspect the port at Haifa for Chinese surveillance capabilities.
“The revelation by Haaretz on Monday marks the latest development in a three-year disagreement between Israel’s government and US officials over a Chinese majority state-owned company assuming management of the port this year.
“Shanghai International Port Group Co. (SIPG) signed a deal with Israel’s Transportation Ministry in 2015 to build up and run Haifa’s commercial port. The deal prompted objections from the US government in 2018, as ships from the US Navy’s 6th Fleet frequent an adjacent Israeli navy base. The base at Haifa reportedly houses Israeli nuclear weapons-capable submarines.
Israel is probably as deeply divided, politically and socially, as the US. I take everything their leaders say with a grain of Dead Sea salt.
Biden will stab Bibi in the back, then we would hope Israel will strike Iran. The US will scream bloody murder but not do anything,
I personally wouldn’t want to pit the US against Israel even. The Lord chooses sides and He wouldn’t side with cheating babykillers. Additionally, many US military would refuse to fight against Israel, just to honor what their God has said. I won’t ever count Israel out, even when the entire world comes against them. That’s in Zechariah (12-14) too!

Messing with the US would be about as wise as messing with Rome was 2000 years ago.
Someone tell me that Netanyahu won’t turn to mush after elections. I really wish he wouldn’t. In fact, my Bible tells me (Zech. 4) that he ought to seriously consider the possiblity of the US joining the New World Mob as a very dangerous existential military enemy, and prepare for it with “Samson +++”
