I agree that the Biden administration is a disaster. My condemnation of Putin’s war hasn’t made me a fan of Biden. In fact, I am not sure that the biden administration is as angry at the invasion as it claims to be.There is a lot of hypocricy and posturing going on here.
While the media’s attention has been focused on the Ukraine, Biden has relaxed sanctions on Iran and it appears ready to make huge oil purchases from them to compensate for the loss of Russian oil imports. That in addition to letting Iran acquire nuclear weapons immediately, if they don’t already have them, and enabling their terrorism against Israel and the Gulf states.
Even while the Biden-Harris administration has been imposing economic sanctions on Russia and waging a rhetorical war against it, it has allowed Russia to act as a mediator in its negotiations with the Iranian regime. In fact it was the Russian foreign ministry that announced a few days ago that the two sides were close to an agreement. The Biden administration did not contradict him. Is its economic and rhetorical war against Russia just a somokescreen for its deal with Iran? As well as with the Maduro regime in Venezuela, and the new leftist-socialist regime in Honduras?
The Biden administration has also made a deal with the Maduro administration to end the sanctions against his regime and import large quantities of oil from Venezuela. This despite the Venezuelan government’s mismanagement of the economy that is so bad that half the population of the country has fled Venezuela. Also, the regime is corrupt and heavily involved in the drug traffic, and has provided weapons to terrorist groups in neighboring Columbia. None of this has deterred the Biden team from making nice to them, since they share the regime’s professed leftist ideals.
The Biden-Harris team has also thrown its support to the newly elected leftist government of Honduras. The new regime is bitterly “anti-Zionist,” and is replacing the pro-Israel regime of the previous president. The Honduran president who opened the only other embassy in Jerusalem beside the American one. The outgoing president has been indicted for drug trafficing by the Biden justice department, and is being held for deportation to the United States by the new Honduran leftist government. The outgoing president’s brother has already been in prison in the u.S. for several years on drug trafficking charges.
About ten years ago, the current president’s husband was president of Honduras. But then he made a speech in which he claimed that an alliance of extraterrestrial beings and Zionists was conspiting to kill him. The very next day, the Honduran supreme court ruled that he had forfitted the presidency on a legal technicality. THe same day, the Honduran congress passed a resolution endorsing his ouster by an almost unanimous vote. Only one congressman voted No. Except for him, every member of the ex-president’s party endorsed his ouster.
At the time, the speaker of the congress, who became interim acting president, told an American Jewish journalist that anti-semitism was one of the few problems that Honduras has never had, and this was no time to introduce the problem. The Honduran economy was dependent on tourism from the New York area, many of them Jewish, he said. The honduran congress had no desire whatever to scare them off.
This former president is still the leader of his wife’s political party, as she serves as the new president of Honduras. I don’t know whether he still believes in space aliens, but he remains staunchly anti-Zionist.
