China Calling for Civilizational War Against America and the West

by Gordon G. Chang, GATESTONE

  • “Gunpowder” is one of those words Beijing uses when it wants others to know war is on its mind. The term is, more worryingly, also especially emotion-packed, a word Chinese propagandists use when they want to rile mainland Chinese audiences…. China’s Communist Party, therefore, is now trying to whip up nationalist sentiment, rallying the Chinese people, perhaps readying them for war.
  • More fundamentally, Beijing is… trying to divide the world along racial lines and form a global anti-white coalition….
  • Deng Xiaoping, Mao’s mostly pragmatic successor, counseled China to “hide capabilities, bide time.” Xi, however, believes China’s time has come in part because, he feels, America is in terminal decline.
  • Xi is serious. In January, he told his fast-expanding military it must be ready to fight “at any second.” That month, the Party’s Central Military Commission took from the civilian State Council the power to mobilize all of society for war. Militant states rarely prepare for conflict and then back down.

  1. , or the Falklands War.@ Shmuel HaLevi

:Rosas was back in the early to middle 19th cent. What he did then has no bearing on the Falklands today, or the Falklands War.. I neglected to notice that you were talking about Rosas.

    My error ..sorry.

  2. “militant” and “military” are two different words with different meanings, sometime one developing into the other, but definitely NOT the same thing.Shmuel HaLevi Said:

, the British Crown organized an expeditionary Military Armada led by Admiral Bedford,

I think you’re talking about Admiral Woodward, whom I distinctly remember was the commander of thr fleet. I do NOT recall any of the other incidents mentioned.in your post.

Again, my recollection s that the Falklands, having been invaded and occupied by the Argentine army, was reconqured by a British Task Force.

The islanders were all either British or descended from original British settlers. Although the islands are close to the Argentine Coast, they have been British byt reaty for about 175 years already.
The whole conflict with accompanying historical background was extensively covered in the news, and I recall nothing of your decriptions..

May I ask where you got your information from??

Incidentally when very young. my first girl friend was named Malvina.

P.S. For the information of all…Israel is definitely NOT a militant country, It has an excellent Defence Force which is purely defensive, low key, the opposite of aggressive.

  3. @ Michael S:
Allow me to somewhat correct your presentation about the Islas Malvinas, (mallouine). Those islands belong to Argentina. The dictators indeed used a national consensus trying to hide huge failings. The British temporarily prevailed.
During the Rosas era in Argentina, the British Crown organized an expeditionary Military Armada led by Admiral Bedford, this to invade and take over Argentina. After blockading BA & demanding surrender, the Admiral failed to realize that the Rio de La Plata tide was about to ground his fleet.. He and his fleet soldiers as well as warships were defeated and taken prisoner. His fate upon return home is not known to me. The Islas Malvinas, home for small fishing operators were taken by default.
China released with intent part of its overall plan. The virus is tool to defeat President Trump and spread harm in the West in general..

  4. @ Michael S:
I’m sure he would not include any of the countries you mentioned except for China and Iran, possibly Russia, though I think that’s debatable. Contrary to Marxist ideology, democratic republics don’t go to war with each other, and avoid war wherever they don’t feel extremely threatened.

  5. Chang said,

“Militant states rarely prepare for conflict and then back down.”

What was Chang trying to say here? That China, Russia, Iran, India, the US, Israel and many others are “militant states”? We are all prepared for conflict at any time, and make no bones about it. Even Switzerland is on the list. And this means… what? anything?

Red China could very well invade Taiwan, just as Argentina invaded the Falklands, and for the same reason — DOMESTIC political problems of the reigning dictator. If Biden’s controllers have any sense, it will end the same way the Falklands War did: with the recapture of the islands and the collapse of the invading dictatorship. If Donald Trump were the US President, Xi knows this is exactly how things would end; with Biden as sock-puppet-in-chief, things might turn out differently. It all depends on who Biden’s controllers are.
