  1. Son of Hamas co-founder calls for Israel to kill his father if terrorist group doesn’t release all hostages

    https://nypost.com/2023/11/29/news/son-of-hamas-co-founder-calls-for-israel-to-kill-his-father-if-terrorist-group-doesnt-release-all-hostages/

““Israel cannot continue like this…Hamas must have a timeframe – a month or two or six months – to return the hostages and if they don’t return the hostages within the time frame, Israel must execute top Hamas leaders in prison, especially the mass murderers,” he said in a 10-minute video posted to X on Tuesday.

“When I say execute top leaders, I mean no exceptions, that includes my own father,” he continued. “I made a mistake, 10 or 15 years ago when I saved his life many times…He was supposed to die for his actions. I saved his life. Things did not change, things got worse.”

Yousef said he gave the war-torn country “permission to execute all Hamas top leaders in prison” before saying Israel should continue after them in Gaza and Qatar.”

  2. I noticed that Every interviewed Arab refugee from Gaza who complained about Hamas made it all about themselves. Not one said with outrage – unlike Jewish useful idiots who side with the Arabs- “Not in our name.”

And almost every Muslim or Arab in Israel or abroad who gave lip service to condemning the October 7 Pogrom, invariably long after, almost in the same breath, began scolding and demanding concessions from Israel.

With notable individual exceptions like the “Green Prince”.

  3. Netanyahu has stated:

From the beginning of the war, I set three goals: the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages, and to ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel. These three goals remain…

Of course Netanyahu must be totally supported here without condition.

But that unconditional support does not imply political agreement especially on whether we think he can succeed in carrying out these successfully.

This is where freedom of speech entails massive importance.

In fact I place freedom of speech as prerequisite for all successful action.

  4. Basically the statement by Blinken means that the words about October 7 coming out of the American Government were always words of deceit. They did not care at all. Israel has to proceed with that clear knowledge.

  5. Blinken tweeted:

I spoke with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah about the conflict in Gaza and measures to improve security and freedom for Palestinians in the West Bank. I reiterated the U.S. commitment to advancing the establishment of a Palestinian state.

Not a word of criticism . Not a demand of any kind. Blinken reserves that for Israel.

  6. Israel has informed the US that releasing Marwan Barghouti “is out of the question and is not applicable to any future hostage negotiations.”…
Barghouti is serving five life sentences, plus an additional forty years, for killing five Israelis.

  7. @Edgar

I’d have preferred that Israel be the one to renew the shooting

I agree. It should be noted that the halting of hostage releases and resumption of hostility took place within hours of Blinken’s dictates which place Israel at a serious disadvantage. The daylight demonstrated between US demands and Israeli needs, once again, signaled to Hamas that all was not lost, and they responded accordingly. Very disturbing.

  8. Well all the quibbling is ended I’m sure. The war has resumed, just as the PM said it would.
BUT, I’d have preferred that Israel be the one to renew the shooting, not being a political dissimulator.
However since it was Hamas, that’s all to the good, although Netanyahu says they didn’t deliver the agreed on, hostages

Not surprising. Hamas and scorpions are exactly alike .(I mean the tale about the scorpion being carried across theriver).

  9. I forgot to add

All of the present above in the context that in truth and fact Gaza is Israel and according to all of League of Nations (not counting the British Barbarians post Balfour) all of Palestine is Jewish and history will be avenged

  10. TED

I’m sure the normal “man -the-street” around the world does not understand “unilateral” cease fire. If Israel DID stop for a while and then resumed she would be condemned by all for starting an unprovoked war.

Right now the people of most of the civilised world are positively on Israel’s side and are daily making fresh declarations against the horrors of Hamas, and supporting Israel to the hilt.

Let’s keep it that way. The simple way.

  11. Ted

My viewpoint is that this all comes back to January 7

I never got on board this war but for very specific and different reasons.

Reader will bear this out I said to him DO NOT FIGHT ON THE ENEMY’S TERMS GROUNDS or to that effect.

I never agreed with Caroline Glick

I said wait and have full open discussion as to what went wrong with security

I saw it was all rotten at a high level when bastards warned the young women to get back to the job spotting.

    What you Ted say above

It is somewhat like 2005. Sharon said get everyone out of Gaza and the least attack flatten where the attack came from. BUT HE DIDN’T! That was the catch IE leadership issue again.

This is where I always disagree. Trotsky and thereby Trotskyism was always about leadership parties.

The border was seemingly ok but the operating not

Really issue was WHAT TYPE OF BORDER?

Anybody entering the buffer area shot at once

Border sealed. Let the Fascists rot.

    Nothing passes no passaran.

No way no direction no how.

The Hamas bestiality…Jews have the right of revenge and nobody can deny that.

And release the hostages or else they pay.

How can UN or Biden deny that.

We need a new TYPE of leadership eventually Trotskyism

  12. Laura is like a programmed robot. She adds sweet nothing to debate but at regular intervals a hate Putin rant. This is the horrific level:

Thank you Bear for speaking the truth! I’m astounded that anyone here is still defending Putin and Russia. I’ve been warning about Putin for a long time. I strongly believe Russia had a role in 10/7. Many months ago in fact Putin was threatening Israel.
Russians are allies of Hamas and not friends of Israel!

    Already established Putin wants quiet.

He has quite enough on his plate

  13. Not only does Israel need US resupply but she will need their veto when SC meets to end the war.

Can Israel call Biden’s bluff and just continue in the south what she did in the north? Would Biden cut off ties with Israel or resupply? What options does Biden realistically have.

Israel can’t finish the job in a month whether or not she restrained herself as Biden/Blinken are demanding.
I think that Biden/ Blinken are pushing these restrictions to get Israel’s concession regarding the day after.
I have been entertaining the idea that Israel doesn’t comply with the demands and instead takes a defensive posture.. We only shoot back if Hamas shoots. Israel would also prevent the Gazans returnoing to the north and would prevent any rebuiding. Also Israel would not involve herself with responsibility for civilians.
What could the US or the world do in response.? What could Hamas do?
I am not advocating for a permanent ceasefire.. I am advocating for a unilateral ceasefire, one we can abandon at a time of our choosing.
The reason I am thinking about such a posture is because it prevents a solution to the problem on US terms. Also the US and the world will then have to deal with the displaced Gazans without our cooperation.
If Hamas is still there, the US can’t impose their solution for the day after. Also we could significantly demobilize while the unilateral ceasefire is in place.

  14. According to Ch. 12 report, Blinken clashed with Israel’s war cabinet about the next phase in the Gaza operation.

“I don’t think you have the credit for that,” Blinken reportedly told the defense minister about his stated goal to “dismantle Hamas, even if it takes months.”

From Jacob N. Kornbluh on X

    Also

Notably in his comments just now, Blinken said the U.S. supports Israel’s efforts so that “Hamas cannot repeat the horrors of Oct 7” – he didn’t say dismantle or eliminate.

    From Jim Sciutto on X

  15. @Bear

it matters what Israel does not Blinken says.

Really? Do you think that Bibi came out and acknowledged that there were many more Pals being killed in Gaza than intended for his own purposes? I doubt this is likely the case.

I also doubt that Israel’s leadership will so flippantly ignore this very clear directive from Israel’s supplier of arms. Also, the smoke and mirrors regarding Biden’s statements should not be misunderstood to be for Israel’s consumption, but rather to mollify his own base which has opposing viewpoints.

Blinken came to meet with the War Cabinet so that there was no record of the threats being delivered, but also so that the threats were delivered without misunderstanding. His summary following the meeting is not contradictory or obscure in the least.

At best, this will result in Israel suffering far more casualties, and in the worst case, the war aims will never be met as they chase Hamas out of everywhere except where they can’t be chased, which is where they are held up, in the hospitals, and schools which will be maintained with a steady supply of civilians to serve as additional human shields.

So the war will continue and the death toll will rise, and ultimately Israel will be left with a choice of whether they should continue on this silly merry go round going nowhere or simply withdraw without having won the war.

    This is very disturbing.

  16. @Ted it matters what Israel does not Blinken says. Biden & Blinken both themselves that contradictory to one another. There is no logic to their statements at times. It is political double talk to appeal to all political sides of the Democratic party.

Israel just needs to what it needs to which is rout Hamas plus get the hostages back. Which in itself has a contraction or conflict.

  17. Blinken: There must be no enduring internal displacement in Gaza Nov 30, 2023

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a press conference in Tel Aviv this evening: “In my meetings today with the Prime Minister and senior Israeli officials, I made clear that before Israel resumes major military operations, it must put in place humanitarian civilian protection plans that minimize further casualties of innocent Palestinians. That means taking more effective steps to protect the lives of civilians, including by clearly and precisely designating places in southern and central Gaza where they can be safe and out of the line of fire. It means avoiding further significant displacement of civilians inside of Gaza. It means avoiding damage to life-critical infrastructure like hospitals, like power stations, like water facilities. And it means giving civilians who have been displaced to southern Gaza the choice to return to the north as soon as conditions permit. There must be no enduring internal displacement.”

This is the price Biden is demanding for letting us destroy Hamas.

  19. Russians are allies of Hamas and not friends of Israel!

Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has found no grounds for investigating the murder and abduction of Russian citizens in Israel by Hamas terrorists during the October 7 massacre, according to a report by Russian opposition media outlet Mojem Obyasnit. Israel’s Foreign Ministry says 23 Russian citizens were killed during the atrocities and another seven were kidnapped to the Gaza Strip.

  20. The Democratic administration, seeking to avoid more large-scale civilian casualties or mass displacement like that seen before the current temporary pause in the fighting, underscored to the Israelis that they must operate with far greater precision in southern Gaza than they did in the north, said officials who briefed reporters on condition of anonymity under ground rules set by the White House.

  21. Son of Hamas Founder Urges Israel to Kill His Father if Hostages Not Freed”

“Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of Hamas’s original founders, called on Israel to set a time limit for the terror group to release all its hostages and to assassinate his father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, and other Hamas leaders if they don’t. Yousef’s statement was made in a video posted on X, formerly called Twitter, on Tuesday.
“Hamas must have a timeframe – a month or two or six months – to return the hostages and if they don’t return the hostages within the time frame, Israel must execute top Hamas leaders in prison, especially the mass murderers,” said Yousef.

When I say execute top Hamas leaders, I mean no exceptions. That includes my own father, the co-founder of the Hamas movement. In this war, there are no exceptions,” added Yousef. “I made a mistake, 10 or 15 years ago when I saved his life many times…He was supposed to die for his actions. I saved his life. Things did not change, things got worse,” he added.
He warned that Hamas is intentionally dragging out negotiations to extend the temporary ceasefire.
“Hamas is going nowhere, and if we continue to negotiate with them, they will continue stretching this negotiations, taking us into a rabbit hole that will never end. And this is their goal: to get away with their crimes. We cannot allow this to happen,” Mosab stressed.
Mosab, 45, was born in Ramallah and became involved in Hamas activities as a youth, and viewed as an eventual successor to his father’s position in the terror organization. But while in Israel’s Megiddo Prison during his early adulthood, Mosab began to question Hamas’s ideology and tactics and became disillusioned with Hamas’s extremism.
He accepted an offer by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) to become an informer on condition that Israel would try to arrest, not kill, the targets of his intelligence tips.
As the son Sheikh Yousef, Mosab was privy to many Hamas plans. For around one decade, the intelligence he provided the Shin Bet foiled numerous suicide bombing attacks and assassination attempts, and exposed terror cells. Within the Shin Bet, he was referred to as “The Green Prince.”
In 2010, Mosab published his autobiography, “Son of Hamas.” He converted to Christianity and currently lives in the US.
Sheikh Yousef, has been in and out of Israeli prisons for years. Israel arrested him in Ramallah on Oct. 19 during a crackdown on Hamas following the Oct. 7 attacks.
At least 1,200 people were killed in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on Oct. 7. Another 240 men, women, children and soldiers were taken back to Gaza as hostages. Some people remain unaccounted for as Israeli authorities continue to identify bodies and search for human remains.
Approximately 155 Israelis and foreigners are still being held in Gaza, including Kfir Bibas, who was 9 months old when he was taken hostage by Hamas along with his parents and 4-year-old brother from Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7.”

  22. ” One of the abductees, held for nearly 50 days in an attic, reveals he was held by a UNRA teacher – a father of ten children. This teacher locked the victim away, barely provided food, and neglected medical needs,” Boker wrote on X (Formerly Twitter).

“But wait, there’s more! Another abductee was held captive by a Gazan doctor who, simultaneously, cared for children. These are not isolated incidents; these civilians are terrorists. Present at the Saturday massacre, they’re now revealed as integral to holding hundreds captive, including women and children,” he added.

UNRWA, the United Nations agency dedicated to the descendants of the Arab refugees from Israel’s War of Independence, has frequently been criticized for its connections to the Hamas terrorist organization and the extreme antisemitism of many of its employees, including teachers. Its curricula and summer camps teach children to want to kill Israelis.”

“The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court this morning (Tuesday) issued a temporary order ordering the terrorist who stabbed and injured Moriya Cohen in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood in Jerusalem, and was released last night, to refrain from making any contact with Cohen or her children, as part of a request for a threatening harassment order.”

  24. SEBASTIEN-

You sound as if you are against Hostage Exchange. This cannot be true, but you sound off against it, with your comment that doing so will lead to other Israeli deaths from the released terrorists.

Well that has been in the past, but only with the “free Shalit” craze, which evaporated almost as soon as it was consummated.

Shait was worth exactly ONE minor terrorist in exchange, but the whole nation went mashugga. The pols couldn’t stand against them.

The terrorists being released now are bringing back our hostages and none of the released pose a great danger to Israel. We’ve learned our lesson with Shalit.

  25. TED-

I think that the “right to exist” implies the right to self defence, for a nation surrounded by bloodthirsty enemies, constantly trying to destroy its existence.
    And also Including pre-emption..

  26. @Sebastien Zorn

Wasn’t the terrorist released as part of the hostage deal?

Then the court is not at fault, BTW, they released a few of them who returned to the East Jerusalem.

If they were released, continuing to punish them is like punishing them twice for the same crime.

  27. Bibi said today:

Jerusalem will not give up on its goal to destroy Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday, amid rumors the terrorist organization offered to release all hostages held in Gaza in exchange for an end to the Israel Defense Forces operation.

“There is no way we are not going back to fight to the end. This is my policy, the entire Cabinet stands behind it, the entire government stands behind it, the soldiers stand behind it, the people stand behind it—this is exactly what we will do,”

“From the beginning of the war, I set three goals: the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages, and to ensure that Gaza will never again be a threat to Israel. These three goals remain,”

  28. PELONI-

Just a very minor point….the House did not “re-affirm” they “affirmed”. One could believe that they haven’t done this very same thing quite a number of times before….but they have……!!
And very politically aptly they have added a lot more to their affirmation.
This should garner quite a few millions from wealthy Jewish donors-Democrats of course, the Repubs, who are the majority, will be, as usual overlooked .

  29. Peloni

About this young woman she faces a difficult situation

The problems facing her come from Capitalism. Do I have to list them?

The Democrats are a capitalist party through and through.

    The Republicans equally.

So no party exists to stand on the need for socialist revolution in America

So there is nowhere she can go.

To suggest she can find succour in any branch of capitalism in America is cruel to the youth.

  30. Tonight, the US House of Representatives passed H. Res. 888, reaffirming Israel’s right to exist.
    @RepThomasMassie voted no.
    @RepRashida voted present.

    The resolution:
    – recognizes that Jewish people are native to the Land of Israel;
    – reaffirms Israel’s right to exist;
    – recognizing that denying Israel’s right to exist is antisemitic;
    – rejects calls for Israel’s destruction/elimination;
    – condemns the Hamas-led terror attack on Israel.

    https://twitter.com/IsraelWarRoom/status/1729704680534511730

House of Representatives votes 412-1-1 for bill affirming Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.

Rep. Massie was the sole vote against.

    Rep. Tlaib voted present.

  31. This is insane: Now, will any Progressive idiots understand the need for judicial reform and that hostage exchanges lead to more dead Jews?

“The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court this morning (Tuesday) issued a temporary order ordering the terrorist who stabbed and injured Moriya Cohen in the Shimon Hatzadik neighborhood in Jerusalem, and was released last night, to refrain from making any contact with Cohen or her children, as part of a request for a threatening harassment order.”

  32. @Honeybee

Do you think the Jewish teacher, who was threatened by a raging mob of students, was a “progressive, anti-Trump Democrat?

Very good of you to raise this point. I think that if she was part of the progressive anti-Trump Dem crowd, which would be easily expected given her profession and locality, she will be likely less inclined towards supporting them in the future. Like Eve Barlow and Martin Varsavsky and many others, those Jews who ran with the progressive anti-Trump Dems are awakening to a reality which they never saw coming, where their ‘allies’ are allied with a death cult which seeks their destruction simply because the are Jews despite their life long allegiance to their Lefty ideologies. It brings to mind some decades ago of a German Jew who was being beaten during Kristallnacht while holding up a WWI Iron Cross as if to ward off the consequences of being the target of his compatriots.

The scenes we are witnessing of course won’t turn these Lefty Jews into Trump advocates, or at least not overnight, but for the moment they will likely feel a sense of dysphoria as their faith in the Dems as a source of justice, security and conviction is ripped to shreds right before their very eyes with recollections of such scenes as this teacher being chased, or the students a few weeks ago hiding in a library, or the fellow who mistook America as still being a bastion of free speech when he showed up at a Pal rally and was murdered for having done so. More than any of these events, however, I believe the real dysphoria for our Lefty Jewish cousins will likely be due to the fact that, amid the massive increase in violence against the Jews around the US (and the world), the law is not being equally enforced, but rather, Justicia is lifting the blindfold to specifically abandon the Jews to their plight.

Like the horror of the Simchat Torrah massacre in Israel, the coordinated antisemitic assaults taking place around the world are facing little to no backlash, and outright support on many occasions. It is only my own perspective, speaking as a lifelong conservative, but it seems reasonable to believe that as the most basic aspects of Western democracy such as equality before the law are being sacrificed to affect the union between the Left and their radical Islamist allies, many of the Leftist Jews will be motivated in time to part from their Leftist ties of identity, and in fact, there are signs that this is already taking effect among some.

  33. Patrick Byrne is reporting that a major legal brief will be released today or tomorrow which he describes as being a ‘Liver Punch’ to the Washington elites. The context of the brief is not yet been released, but he qualifies it as being perhaps the biggest move against the govt in the past three years. Following the Liver Punch, he shares that a bigger story will be coming out right after the Liver Punch. Notably, Patrick’s timelines are unreliable, as the Liver Punch was first noted to be released around November 1, so we will see it when ever it finally does arrive, but it is reported that it will deliver an important blow against the Deep State controlled US govt, which really could use something to distract it from continually interfering in matters which should be seen as being strictly Israeli sovereign decisions such as the hostage deal.

  34. I believe the following is VERY good news for Israel:

Israel hosted Elon Musk on Monday, where he toured sites of the October 7 massacre and was shown footage of the violent acts committed by the terrorist organization on Israeli soil.

Musk voiced support on Monday for Israel after it came under attack by Hamas terrorists, saying one challenge was “ultimately stopping the propaganda that is convincing people to engage in, you know, murder.”

After hearing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying Hamas must be destroyed in a live online chat, Musk said: “There’s no choice.” Musk, visiting Israel during its war on Hamas in Gaza, added: “I’d like to help as well.”

Netanyahu and Musk later held a live chat on X, which can be listened to in full below.

Unlike Biden & Co., Elon Musk can really help Israel; and his heart seems in a good place.
