I am from the boomer generation. I watched as women removed their bras(symbols of oppression) with such excitement. “Freedom?” Freedom from what? What does wearing a bra have to do with lack of freedom?
Well, that’s how it started. Women are now free to be just like men. Become lawyers, doctors, financiers, burger flippers. Interesting. No one referred to themselves as non-binary back then.
But women became so proud of themselves. They could do more than raise babies. I remember walking with my three children to the local park. One was in the stroller, one was riding on the back of the stroller and one was walking beside the stroller. Bumped into a woman pushing a stroller and in short order she asked “What do I do?” What do I do? I raise children – all day, every day, 24/7.When God created the Garden of Eden, it was not just One Garden. In every woman he placed a garden and that garden was waiting for a special seed; one that created human life. And then women decided that creating human life was not as important as flipping burgers or being a lawyer or investment banker. Women began to tell other women that being a mother – well anyone can do that!
So, for several generations women have postponed motherhood for work outside the home. Become successful first and then have a family. And oops. Seems some women waited too long. Couldn’t find a mate or the garden had dried up. Well, there must be a solution. Freezing one’s eggs! What a fantastic idea.
“Freezing your eggs is an option that may help you realize your dream of motherhood when you’re ready. Having your eggs extracted and stored for future use (called cryopreservation) may give you the best chance of conceiving later on…. But for many women, the biggest factor to consider is their ‘biological clock.’ In medical terms, this means that the number of eggs you have and the quality of those eggs both decrease as you get older. Eventually you stop ovulating (releasing eggs from your ovaries for potential fertilization) when you reach menopause (commonly between 45 and 55 years). Age is the most important factor in successful egg freezing.”
Hmm.
You can learn all about this from an expert at John’s Hopkins. A female doctor!
You freeze the eggs – before they are fertilized, and then you can choose the sperm later. If you can’t find a man, not a problem; get sperm from a bank and then spend thousands of dollars for treatments to get pregnant. And if successful – good on you. Except, I bet you knew your mom and dad. Your child won’t. How is that fair? Oh wait – it isn’t about fairness, it is all about you. It never occurred to you to raise a family first, when you are young, and then establish a career. You may not get high up in the hierarchy. So what. You will have raised the next generation with your values; not the values of a nanny or a multitude of day care workers, teachers and the government of the day.
And now that we can freeze eggs, why not produce artificial wombs in which to incubate these creations? Not to worry. We are on the road. How long will it take to develop “greenhouses”? And think of all the genetic manipulation you could perform on these “babies.” Imagine what one could do!
Women could sell their eggs!
Before long there will be a black market for the left over eggs.
It’s progress. An improvement on surrogacy. Now we pay women to have babies for other people. Well, it started off as a kindness. And quickly fell into abuse.
“A Tier 1 registered sex offender, Brandon Keith Riley Mitchell(man on the right), was convicted in Pennsylvania for the sexual abuse of a minor and is publicly listed on the Megan’s Law registry,” the petition reads. “Despite this, he and his partner have recently obtained custody of a newborn baby through surrogacy. This is possible only due to a dangerous legal loophole in Pennsylvania that allows sex offenders — even those convicted of crimes against children — to access custody through private or unregulated reproductive arrangements.”

Here’s more “progress” in surrogacy.
Twenty-one children are in the custody of a California child-welfare agency while authorities investigate a Los Angeles-area couple and whether they misled surrogate mothers around the country. They range in age from 2 months to 13 years, with most between 1 and 3. “Bought and paid for children.” Wonder what this lovely couple planned to do with these children.
Now, imagine the excitement of pedophiles. They won’t need to groom young children – they can grow them. They won’t’ need a surrogate in some far flung country or at home. They can buy their own “greenhouse” babies to sell on the pedo market. And business people who need workers? Slave labour for sale.
Well done bra-burning ladies. Look what you did for civilization. Just think. Whether you are a barista or a barrister, someday in the not too distant future, you will be able to grow your children in a greenhouse and never need maternity leave. Your baby will go into childcare and you can continue working.
All of this could happen because we demean and denigrate the power and glory of human creation.
This is no sci-fi.
On another note – but on the same train.
Whoever thought, not too long ago, that we would have two men adopt a baby? Well, wait! Hey, now we have three men. Progress! In Canada, of all places. Not Thailand./ A gay throuple(threesome of men) has adopted a 3-year-old baby girl in Canada and is fighting for their regional government to recognize the parental rights of all three men, according to a report. Just what we need in our diverse world. Three men with a female child.

Here’s the ruling.
Canadian provinces Ontario, British Columbia and Saskatchewan already legally recognize throuples as parents — but Quebec has resisted.
Last April, a Quebec Superior Court judge ruled that the province’s government must recognize families with more than two parents, stating the law discriminates against different family models and violates the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, CTV News reported.
“It’s not about step-parents or other potential realities,” Judge Marc-Andre Landry said in his ruling. “It’s really about three people sitting together and saying, ‘We should have a child together.’”
Their legal case is being organized by La Coalition des Familles LGBT+, a community advocacy organization, according to the Toronto Sun. Ahhh the LGBTQ2+R2D2C3PO community that now dictates the meaning of family. What would we do without them and DEI?
So, well done, ladies. You have made yourselves superfluous. Who knew?
From the Ethics of the Fathers: “Rabbi Tarfon used to say, it is not incumbent upon you to complete the task, but you are not exempt from undertaking it.”

This article raises some important points. We have certainly come a long way but in the wrong direction. As a boomer I was of the so-called bra-burning generation, but at the time I supported feminism in one of its original forms: the right to have women’s work respected equally with that of men, including valuing the contributions of wives and stay-at-home mothers. I stayed home while my children were young and went back to work part-time as their school hours permitted. But by then the feminist movement had abandoned its original ideas and had decided the best thing was for women to become more like men in their work aims and conditions. Not valued, that is, for our unique contributions, but only in so far as we could become similar to men – which in my book means that feminism had failed. Now we are in the present mess because of this wrong turning and because of the cultural Marxism that infiltrated society at the same time as feminism caught on. These two ideas collided and brought about the devaluation of the traditional family. In the end the sexes are seen as interchangeable at will. We are in a terrible state. There needs to be a huge return to basics and the ideals that were given to us by our Creator.
