Peloni: In Gaza, terrorists won’t stop terrorizing and rapists won’t stop raping, and the Western world won’t stop enabling them both. For six months, the atrocities being committed by a reinvigorated Hamas in Gaza have been well known to the world, with videos of systematic beatings, shooting, and murder reaffirming that Hamas is back in power again. Now we are adding systematic and institutionalized rape to the crimes being sheltered by the inaction of the Board of Peace, as we are still waiting for the 36hrs deadline for Hamas to disarm to eclipse and for their destruction to be enforced by this new international instrument of ‘Peace’.

In Gaza, members of Hamas have been sexually exploiting widows and other desperate women without a husband or protector. They offer them food and money in exchange for sex. Some women are simply raped, or even gang-raped, by Hamas members who know that they will not be prosecuted. The women seldom dare to complain, for as one Hamas member warned a woman who wanted to report the abuse, in Gaza “Hamas is the government.”
More on this latest outrage by Hamas — which has nothing to do with Israel — can be found here: “Women living under Hamas rule in Gaza describe to the Mail how they are sexually abused by the terror group’s fighters and forced to have sex in return for food aid,” by Natalie Lisbona, Daily Mail, April 18, 2026:
The world has heard harrowing accounts of Israeli men and women sexually brutalised in Hamas captivity — but now chilling new testimony is emerging from inside Gaza itself.
Gazans living under Hamas rule are beginning to break their silence, describing sexual abuse by multiple men, sexual blackmail for aid or money and abuse by people in positions of power.
It comes as concerns grow that the group is re-establishing control, while global attention shifts to the conflict in Iran.
The IDF now controls a little more than half of Gaza, to the east of the Yellow Line; in the rest of Gaza, Hamas still reigns and mistreats the Gazan civilians, and especially, takes advantage of the girls and women who lack a husband or other male relative as a protector.
Human rights organisations in Gaza have told the Daily Mail that up to 60,000 women are vulnerable, with reports also indicating a rise in child marriages and pregnancies.
The Daily Mail has obtained rare video testimony, filmed by Jusoor News from inside the Strip, where speaking out carries severe risk.
In one account told by a male Gazan, whose identity has to remain anonymous for his safety, he described how he found a widow displaced in the war being molested inside a tent by ‘a bunch of’ Hamas members and was warned to stay silent.
‘We were contacted by the wife of a friend. She had asked a Qassam Brigades commander to help her, but he took advantage of her,’ he said.
‘His behaviour is disgraceful. We investigated the matter and found her in a tent in the Gharabli area where a bunch of Qassam members were taking advantage of her….
In other words, instead of helping this widow, members of the Qassam brigades —the military wing of Hamas — were gang-raping her.
The women in Gaza who are unmarried or widows are without protection against rapists, and without male providers, they must rely on aid that Hamas controls. That aid can be withheld by Hamas members unless the women yield to demands for sex.
The Daily Mail contacted UN Women, who didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Two other human rights groups inside Gaza were contacted, one of which said they were unaware of women being exploited.
That human rights group that claimed to be “unaware” of the sexual exploitation of women by Hamas was undoubtedly too scared to tell the truth.
This horrific business — the rapes and gang-rapes of widows and single women in Gaza, and the less violent exaction of sexual favors in exchange for food and other aid — will not end as long as Hamas controls the western half of Gaza. As of now, Hamas members are able to frighten the women from reporting what they have undergone, and men in Gaza, too, have been reluctant to report on the plight of so many women who succumb to Hamas blackmail. This terrible story should be all over the Western media. But it isn’t. Why not?
