  • JORDAN’S MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, ONE OF THE TOP MB BRANCHES DESIGNATED AS TERRORISTS BY PRESIDENT TRUMP.
  • ABDULLAH FALSELY CLAIMS THE MB IS “ALREADY BANNED” IN JORDAN. IT IS NOT.
  • FIRST, the King publicly announced the shutdown of the Muslim Brotherhood Society, an entity that had already been defunct and inactive. At the same time, he allowed the Muslim Brotherhood Association, the organization’s real operational framework, to continue functioning freely and without interference.
  • SECOND, although the Brotherhood’s Association announced its self-dissolution in July, the MB’s political arm, the Islamic Action Front Party, remains fully open and operational. The party continues to organize, mobilize, and operate openly, even as the regime aggressively suppresses far smaller, secular, and moderate opposition movements.
  • THIRD, the MB’s financial backbone, the Islamic Center Charitable Society, remains entirely intact. With assets estimated at approximately four billion U.S. dollars, the Society continues to collect donations, operate large income-generating commercial enterprises, and maintain thousands of Muslim Brotherhood members and their families on its payroll.
  • FOURTH, the Brotherhood’s primary media mouthpiece, Al-Sabeel newspaper, which the King has claimed was shut down, is still fully operational. Al-Sabeel was primarily a digital outlet with limited print circulation. The unprofitable print edition has been discontinued, while the highly active and influential online platform continues to disseminate Muslim Brotherhood messaging and incitement without restriction.

WHAT THE U.S. MUST DO TO STOP THIS:

  • Designate key Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood leaders and leaders of its political arm, the Islamic Action Front (IAF), as terrorist actors.
  • Designate the Islamic Action Front Party as a terrorist affiliate. It is the Brotherhood’s political arm and its primary survival mechanism.
  • Designate the Brotherhood’s financial backbone, the Islamic Center Charity Society, as a terror-enabling financial structure and seize its asses.
  • Designate Al-Sabeel newspaper as a terror-enabling media platform and dismantle its operations.

??ENFORCE REAL COMPLIANCE, NOT NARRATIVES:

  1. Verified closure of the IAF, full asset confiscation, bank freezes, and a ban on rebranding under new names.
  2. Verified dismantling of the Islamic Center Charity Society and removal of all Muslim Brotherhood personnel.
  3. Verified shutdown of Muslim Brotherhood media, including Al-Sabeel’s website, assets, staff, and press credentials.
  4. Sustained legal action against senior Muslim Brotherhood leadership, not short or symbolic detentions.
  5. Verification that successor entities are not operating under alternative names.

?? CONDITIONALITY:

  1. Clear deadlines tied to U.S. aid suspension.
  2. Visa bans and sanctions on officials who protect or enable the Brotherhood.
  3. A clear standard that paper bans and cosmetic arrests constitute non-compliance.
