Iranian missile strikes on southern cities of Arad, Dimona: More than 120 injured with 11 seriously injured, in

Peloni:  Iran launched ballistic missile strikes on the southern Israeli cities of Arad and Dimona, injuring over 100 people, including several in serious condition, and causing significant damage to residential buildings. Some missiles penetrated Israel’s air defenses, prompting an investigation into the failure. The attack is claimed to be retaliation for earlier strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, and it marks a major escalation in the ongoing conflict, particularly because the targeted area is near Israel’s nuclear research center. IDF source have confirmed that the interceptors fired at these missiles failed, leading to the missile strikes, and that the series of missiles used in this strike are not new.   The interceptors, reportedly fired by US THAAD system, failed to prevent the missiles from striking the residential areas.

  1. The casualties in Arad have nearly all been in the Gur Hasidic community. Unfortunately, many Israelis consider the Hasidic-Haredi communities as worthless sub-humans. I doubt if those Israelis with this mindset feel much grief at the casualties suffered by this community.

  2. Unfortunately, when you are fighting a war, as Israel has been doing for
at least 78 years there will be casualties. And when you are fighting a terrorist state and its terrorist arms, you can expect most of your casualties will be civilian. What is amazing is that in the latest round of attacks on Arad and Dimona, so far not one Israeli death has been reported.
