I hope that Israel will keep Saar’s promise. But if they were serious about it, they would never have expected the outrageous “deal” with Hamas.

Over the years Israel’s leaders have talked constantly, obsessively about their desire for “peace.” They have rarely spoken of “victory.”
And what precisely will Israel do if Trump decides that Hamas will govern Gaza? Or be involved in governing Gaza? A repeat of what it has just been through only to surrender under US pressure again?
