Israel’s Ghetto Mentality shared by Europe

The world, increasingly has been imposing its will on Israel by ostracizing it, isolating it, deligitimating it, denying it equal treatment among the nations of the world and denying it the right of self-defense. In effect the world has made Israel into a ghetto, no different from the ghettos they created in Europe to deal with their Jewish problem. The Jew had to be constrained and ostracized. Israel has to be constrained and ostracized. The world cannot accept an independent, sovereign Israel. Israel must be subjugated just as the Jews had to be subjugated.

Giulio Meotti writing in Arutz Sheva has a different take when he refers to Israel’s Ghetto Mentallity

    It is this ghetto-like thinking that leads Israel’s government ministers to seriously advocate uprooting Jewish towns and villages in the Jews’ ancestral homeland; that they speak of exiling thousands of Jews in order to curry favor with Arab potentates and US coteries; that they make pacts with unrepentant terrorists whose anti-Semitism matches anything in the pages of Der Stürmer; that they allow for Jewish blood being shed in all parts of the country; that they tell their citizens to surrender more to the Palestinian Arabs so that they will control terrorism; that they ask the Jews to be prepared to suffer the loss of precious lives, for peace too extracts a bloody price.

    It is in this ghetto-like thinking that you see Jewish policemen beating peaceful protesters; that government ministers hold talks with Mahmoud Abbas’ henchmen at the very hour when Jewish victims are being buried rather than join the thousands of mourners; that the wholesale release of Arab murderers is defended by Israel’s justice minister as perfectly legal and that, Kristallnacht-fashion, Palestinians loot a synagogue built over the Tomb of Joseph in Shechem.

He concludes with:

    In 2014, anti-Semites want to make the world “Jüdenstaatrein”, free of a Jewish State. As a first step, they will insist on the “resettlement” from outposts and then the “final agreement”.

    The result will be a squeezed, narrow and urban Jewish ghetto with Muslim newcomers pressing from the eastern highlands, those which have been abandoned by the Jewish army.

Israel must reject this ghetto-like mentality and ghetto-like status, hard as that may be.

    Associated in all manner of speaking. The trouble we have with anti-Semites in North America, Yamit, is that most of them, like the Good Doctor, almost always speak their bile via an ambiguous identity. Their most imprudent oversight is the reality that once we hear from them, we make diligent search (as we’re doing in the case of CA) to pinpoint their location. Their sins will find them out. Could be days, could be months, could be years, but we’ll find them. We have our resources. (We tracked one down who lived north of here. His mistake was that he phoned in requests to CBC Radio. He enjoyed symphony music. I gave him a good ole Canadian hockey shoulder in the local convenience store here, but he didn’t want to play. He was eventually banned from a southern Ontario paper for defending the rights of pedophiles to practice their sexual preference) They know who I am. But they also know I have a double barrel 12 gauge (coach gun) and a 358 Savage (if they happen to make it off my door step and try a run for it). They want to rock, I can rock. We’re back in the days of Kristallnacht, Yamit. Of course you know this. But now Jews carry clubs and guns too, like the Latvians and the Romanians and the Polish and Ukrainian scum did when beat Jews to death in the streets after their Nazi heroes arrived in town. Now Jews are searching out the bad guys before they burn the synagogues, before they cut off their locks and their beards and make them scrub the streets in their Orthodox garb. There will be no more of that shit. We’re ready for them here in Canada, and I know many tough Jews in the USA who are also ready. As we Canadian and American hockey players say: “See you on the ice, asshole.”

  10. There is ONLY one way that the Jews can win. In WWII the Nazis were the winners. They were just finally defeated after much death and devastation. The Jewish people have to come at this from a different angle. We must unite as a people, a nation, a light unto the nations – THAT IS WHAT WE ARE.

    Coming at this was from a ‘religious angle’ will never work. We can bond as a people.

    Israel is here to stay. Make no mistake about that. This nation of Jews was gained by violent conquest and only by violent conquest will they be destroyed. But anyone thinking of removing this nation of Jews from the Middle East had better pack a lunch. A big lunch. Not so easy to push Jews around anymore, especially from a land they’ve dreamed about for so long and from so many dark and dangerous places; especially from a land that has always been a part of their soul.

    this is true, but the real problem is the Jewish emotional and mental enslavement to its former ghetto masters. The Jews are always acting defensively and in reaction as a result of this ghetto mentality. Israel should become an active threat to her enemies and detractors. She should flex her military might and seize resources or destroy those resources so that her detractors are damaged. Israel does not leverage her military power for proactive gain. If one is chased into a ghetto and forced to fight innumerable wars and is strengthened as a result: then it should be expected that a reasonable reaction would to attack the tormentors. a cornered cat can run a pit bull off whimpering, I have seen this. Israel should become like a frightening cornered cat,lashing out without predictability and frightening her tormentors. The only justification need be “you have done this to me and now you must pay”.

    But the same cringing fear of non-Jews persists and a fawning submission to their dictates handicaps Jewish national independence.

    It used to be said it was easy to bring the Jew out of the Ghetto but its a tall order to liberate the Jew from his own mental Ghetto.

    Jews are nowhere near being the equal of others and they indeed are not reckoned among the nations. In its treatment by the world, Israel is the Jew of the nations.

    Zionism has given the Jews a safe haven but it has dismally failed in liberating the Jew from his own internal exile, in which he remains captive.
