Israel’s Netanyahu Responds to Donald Trump Warning on Syria

Peloni:  PM Netanyahu responded to Trump’s recent TruthSocial statement warning Israel to not destabilize the Jolani Syrian regime.  Netanyahu indicated that a deal with Syria is possible and that negotiations should proceed in “a good spirit,” while still remaining firm on Israel’s non-negotiable security demands. Insisting that Syria establish a demilitarized buffer zone from Damascus to Mount Hermon, Netanyahu explained that this would prevent threats to Israel’s northern border. These remarks follow a deadly Israeli raid in southern Syria that killed 13 people, drawing condemnation from Damascus. U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israel to avoid interfering in Syria’s development under President Ahmed al-Sharaa, praising his terrorist in a suit and calling for a “strong and true dialogue” between the two nations, despite the reports that the Jolani govt was involved in the counterstrike against Israel which caused Israeli casualties. Trump’s push for regional stability contrasts with Israel’s ongoing military operations which target militant groups inside Southern Syria. Netanyahu and Trump recently discussed expanding peace agreements, with a White House meeting planned soon. Despite U.S. pressure to acquiesce to a Jolani controlled Syria, Netanyahu remain committed to its security needs in maintaining control over the southern aspect of Syria.

  2. Trumps deal is dead in the water. Al-Shara set the return of the Golan Heights as a non-negotiable demand and the UN agrees. Ceasefire much less peace is off the table.

  3. Trump has to make nice noises for the rest of the world while privately thanking Israel for what it does.

    You will know if Trump is serious if he actually does something. Notice he has done nothing but support Israel, since January 20. 2025 when he took office again, but he does talk a lot.

    You will also know Trump is serious when he issues an ultimatum. Biden and Obama issued ultimatums all the time and no action followed. Trump gave Iran 50 days and on the 51st day Iran regretted it. Trump has just issued Maduro an ultimatum. Dictator Maduro’s time is up. He just may not know it yet.

    Think Trump isn’t serious. Then get your 30 foot boat with the (4) 400 horsepower Merc engines, leave Venezuela with your ton of cocaine and see exactly how far you get. International waters is 12 miles. After that, I hear the sharks are hungry.

    Only question is: “Do you have adequate life insurance? Well, do ya punk?”

  4. I can’t believe what I just read above… and that I actually read it!!!

    Does Trump (whom I admire in many ways) actually believe that these terrorists are actually really nice guys (who look great in suits)? If so, perhaps he should read the (real) Koran.
