James Carville: “I’m Not In That F____ Political Party”

Peloni:  The Democratic party needs to be figuratively burned to the ground and started anew, while shunning those radical characters who are actually taking over the party.  Of course, the support of new immigrants provides a strong support for these radicals, and Mamdani showed us just how effective such voters as these can be harnessed to win elections.  So, when Carville calls for a schism in the party he once helped lead to power, he is one of the few voices of wisdom speaking from the Democratic camp.  The fact that his voice is so isolated there, unfortunately, provides the telling reality, however, that such a movement as he is advocating is still very premature.  Let us hope it is one day successful.

“I actually do think it’s time for Democrats to talk the ‘s’ word: schism.”

The Democrats have a problem. They outsourced the ideology and the culture to the farthest left which means the party no longer has any other identity or any ideological brakes. The lack of competitive districts due to gerrymandering and election consolidation means that a small number of primary voters, mainly leftists, are choosing members of Congress even when those people are open Communists or openly support Islamic terrorists.

Mamdani and the DSA ran the board in New York City electing Avila Chevalier, a woman whose organization tweeted, “Death to America” and called for the destruction of western civilization, while ousting a top Congressional Democrat who had endorsed him.

James Carville, a longtime Democrat strategist, said what a lot of power brokers in the party are thinking.

Carville freaked out at the results. He noted that Avila Chevalier, who was born to Dominican immigrants, once said white people should not be in interracial marriages.

“Lady, I ain’t in the same party as you,” Carville said. “I’m sorry. I’m just not. And I actually do think it’s time for Democrats to talk the ‘s’ word: schism. I really do. Everybody’s always said, ‘No, no. We’re a coalition. We’re a big tent. And there’s just some sh*t I can’t be in the same tent with.”

Carville then insisted that despite winning their Democratic primaries, “these people are not Democrats.” He then suggested that establishment Democrats “negotiate the terms of a schism” with democratic socialists in the party.

“But I’m done,” he continued. “I’m not in that f*cking political party. I am totally comfortable in a political party that spends time questioning the policies of the government of Israel. In fact, I’m enthusiastic about that. I don’t want to be in a political party that denies the right of the state of Israel to exist. That’s just not– I just can’t do that.”

Wait till Jimmy realizes that party questions the right of America to exist and supports the right of Islamic terrorists to murder them.

But Democrats, as a party, are catastrophically weak. Campaign finance reform exported much of the election machinery to PACs and powerful donors who build their own political machines. The old smoke filled room is dead and the only reason Biden got as far as he did was because he was a puppet in the hands of radicals.

The same people running the board in New York, California and New Jersey are going to want their own White House candidate, and that candidate is going to make Obama look like Harry Truman.

The Democrats can stop this, they just have to do three things

1. Draw an ideological line from the Left. Define the party by triangulating issues that moderates and liberals can agree on while dropping the insanity, e.g. wokeness, terrorism, hatred of the country…

2. Rebuild a central party machinery through rewards and punishments. Make examples the way that Trump is doing to Democrats. Support investigations of the DSA and radicals at the state level.

3. Boot socialist candidates out of the party, block them from running, oust any politician or party member who supports them.

These are things they could do. But they won’t. Instead they’ll learn to love the latest low and defend the newest extreme. And that’s why they are where they are.
