President Trump ended the war despite the defiance of some Arab rulers who support Hamas.
My call today with Tom Swarbrick on Britain’s LBC Radio:
President Trump took a courageous stand when he pushed Arab rulers who back Hamas to pressure the group into ending the war. Many of these rulers still want the conflict to continue, playing both sides for their own interests—just like the “King” of Jordan, who welcomes Hamas leaders into his palace.
It’s a happy day for the people of Gaza now that the war has ended and Trump has put an end to Hamas. Ordinary Gazans don’t want war or to see their children killed. They deeply regret voting for Hamas twenty years ago.

Mudar Zahran is a Jordanian Palestinian politician living in exile. He heads the Jordanian Opposition Coalition. He previously served as an economic specialist and assistant policy coordinator for the U.S. embassy in Amman. Zahran is a Ph.D. in political science — the Arab-Israeli conflict.
