Natasha Hausdorff explains legal impact of UN Security Council Resolution on Gaza

Peloni:  Highly recommended video.  Natasha makes similar conclusions drawn by Eugene Kontorovich, that the support for the Palestinian state is non-binding, that it establishes the lack of credibility of the efforts of England and France to pretend that such a state exists already.  She also explains that the authority in Gaza is placed under the Board of Peace with Trump at the head of that board among other points.  For greater inspection on this, however, in another must read article, Global Disconnect provides a near line by line breakdown of the resolution, in which the language used is explained to have significant and foreboding repercussions for Israel as it has been sidelined from intervening in Gaza as Trump’s Board of Peace takes over.  Despite the statements by Kontorovich and Hausdorff, this resolution remains highly concerning as a potential tool to be used against Israel from more than one aspect.  Relevantly, it must always be recalled that the creation of a second Palestinian state has never been about liberating Palestinians from anyone, as it has always been about killing Jews and the conquest of the Jewish state.

  1. The Emperor’s clothes. What a brilliant legal analysis.

    She points out that:

    a) it’s a non-binding resolution, not being chapter 7

    and

    b) In pointing to the possibility of a road to Pal statehood if they stop being a threat to their neighbours – one of the key elements in a statehood application – It embarrasses the governments that have already recognized a nation that does not exist.

My comment: What hilariously absurd hypocrisy. Taiwan, a nation which exists in every sense of
the word is not recognized for fear of offending China which suppresses its own Muslim secessionists while allying with the PA.

What is wrong with Washington? We don’t even need Arab oil, anymore.

The Pals are on the other side. They’re not shy about saying so. They scream it from the rooftops. Why even give them the time of day?

    I’m sort of
reminded of “The Mouse that Roared” (1959) Peter Sellers. (an imperfect analogy, I know) about a tiny, backward, fictional country that declares war on the U.S. in order lose and get financial aid but accidentally wins.
