New York, This Is Your Last Warning

Peloni:  Will New York really come to be captured by the Islamo-Communist fusion?

By

New in PJ Media:

Zohran Mamdani as mayor of New York won’t be that bad, right?

After all, he won’t be able to do everything that he wants to do. This is still America, and a full-on commie like this guy will encounter all kinds of roadblocks.

Won’t he?

At the same time, many Americans regard the prospect of Zohran Mamdani becoming mayor of New York as the triumph of the best aspects of our nation. An immigrant, the son of immigrants, comes to this country and is not only welcomed, but quickly rises to the leadership of our greatest city. Xenophobia and racism are thereby rebuked, and America lives up to its reputation as the land of equality and opportunity where any person who excels can rise to the top.

Well, yes, but the full story of Zohran Mamdani is even worse than what is generally known, as I show in my new book, Intifada on the Hudson: The Selling of Zohran Mamdani. He is indeed an immigrant, but he stands openly and unapologetically for policies that, if implemented even in part, would not show off what is best about America. Instead, they would plunge New York City into new depths of economic and social misery. The reason why this can be stated with certainty isn’t hard to find: Everywhere socialism has been implemented, the results have been the same.

Socialism has not been beneficial either for individuals or societies. Those who would invoke the soft socialism of the Scandinavian countries should note that not even those countries have implemented all the socialist schemes Mamdani has said he wants to bring to New York City. And the primary ingredient that Mamdani needs to implement these schemes is money from the wealthy people he despises, who will almost certainly make it impossible for him to realize his plans and dreams as they simply leave the city.

Yet that does not render Mamdani harmless. Even if he loses the mayoral election or ultimately lacks the funding his projects require, he will have done a great deal—with his glibness, slickness, and charm—to bring his dangerous ideas into the American mainstream. These ideas are not new to him or to the world. When Zohran Mamdani talks about providing free buses, the buses aren’t really free. Even slaves didn’t provide free labor—they had to be fed, clothed and housed. Someone has to pay for the buses to be powered with gasoline or electricity, to be maintained, to be stored somewhere when they aren’t in use, and more.

There is more. Read the rest here.

  1. Also, Jews supported the Federalists until the Federalists opposed the French Revolution which granted equality in principle to Jews and Muhlenberg was head of the Federalist party besides being a Lutheran minister himself and the grandson of the founder of the Lutheran Church in America.

George Washington’s address to the Jews in Rhode Island in 1790 was apparently not in virtue signaling in a vaccuum. He was taking sides in a fight against antisemitism judging from the following: I googled: “Jews granted rights in Philadelphia in 1790” which I leaned from the article and got:

    “AI Overview

    +1
In 1790, Pennsylvania granted Jews the rights to hold office and vote by adopting a new constitution that removed religious tests for public office. This followed an earlier period where, despite the state’s reputation for religious freedom, Jews were barred from holding public office. The change made Pennsylvania the first state to allow Jews full political equality.
Removal of religious test: The new 1790 state constitution removed the religious test for holding office, which had previously required an acknowledgment of the “being of a God and a future state of rewards and punishments”.
Right to hold office and vote: This change effectively granted Jews the right to vote and hold public office, a right that had been denied in the past.
First state to grant full rights: Pennsylvania was the first state to eliminate religious barriers to political participation for Jews.
Context: This was a landmark moment in the history of Jewish civil rights in the United States. It was part of a larger trend, though other states like Rhode Island, North Carolina, and New Hampshire”

  2. Be very careful. Socialism may be a lot more redistributive than many other parties and political ideas but it is not exclusive. Further those with wealth have NOT all made it themselves but frequently inherited or married wealth.
One reason why the French monarchy collapsed bankrupt was because the nobility ie the landowners, by long tradition did not pay direct taxes. So France has a strong tradition of indirect taxes. Conversely the British won their naval wars with France throughout the 1700’s because the landlords – the nobles and gentry/squires – did pay “land tax” – an income tax on their rent rolls of 5% in peace and 20% in wartime.
Incidentally the late USSR did not have free buses in its towns. In the 1960’s each journey was 5 kopeks then just over 5 US cents – all the way. Also people paid 6% of their pay (superannuation) for their pensions which was also the same rate for public service pension schemes (police, teachers, firefighters town hall staff…) in UK though it rose there to 8% by the end of the ’60’s.
By definition the market does not pay everybody the same and the poorest third are in difficulties that if not at least partly assisted become a hatchery of disease, and many other social ills – read Charles Dickens for eye witness.

  3. America, take warning from England, where we have the worst mayor of London that we have ever known – one Sadiq Khan. He has turned huge swathes of our once glorious city into a third world jungle. Tourists and residents alike are afraid to walk many of our streets. There are no-go areas where white people cannot venture without being insulted, spat upon or worse. Jews have been warned not to wear symbols of faith such as Stars of David or kippahs for fear of attack. It’s not too late for America to avoid this dreadful situation, but you must take heed now before it’s too late.

  4. There needs to me a modification to the constitution which requires immigrants to be 4-5 generations in before they become eligible for public office. They need to learn how things work, beure they start modifiying it to the way things were in the shithold they came from to America.

Muhlenberg was born in Trappe, Pennsylvania, the son of Anna Maria (Weiser) and Heinrich Melchior Mühlenberg. His father, an immigrant from Germany, was considered the founder of the Lutheran Church in North America. His maternal grandfather was Pennsylvania German colonial leader Conrad Weiser. His brother, Peter, was a general in the Continental Army and his brother Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst was a botanist.[3]

        “…
Muhlenberg was a member of the Continental Congress in 1779 and 1780, and served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1780 to 1783. He was elected its speaker on November 3, 1780.[6] He was a delegate to and chairman of the Pennsylvania state constitutional convention in 1787 called to ratify the Federal Constitution. He was the first signer of the Bill of Rights.[7…”

“…He served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania in the first and the three succeeding United States Congresses (March 4, 1789 – March 4, 1797). Muhlenberg was also the first speaker of the United States House of Representatives. In August 1789, he cast the deciding vote for the location of the nation’s new capital. He did not seek renomination as speaker in 1796. On April 29, 1796, as chairman of the Committee of the Whole, he cast the deciding vote for the laws necessary to carry out the Jay Treaty.[8]
In 1794, during Muhlenberg’s second tenure as Speaker, the House voted 42–41 against a proposal to translate some of the new country’s laws into German. Muhlenberg, who himself abstained from the vote, commented later that “the faster the Germans become Americans, the better it will be.”[9] Even though he never cast a vote against the translation bill, a legend developed in which Muhlenberg was responsible for preventing the adoption of German as an official language of the United States.[9]
According to another discredited legend, Muhlenberg also suggested that the title of the president of the United States should be “Mr. President,” instead of “His High Mightiness” or “His Elected Majesty,” as John Adams had suggested.[10]…

Muhlenberg had not only placed Jews first on the list of threats to the republic, he included the apostate Dutch Jew Spinoza as the logical prelude to deism …”
