Tamir Hayman Discusses the War that Went Awry

Peloni

Video Loads Below

Tamir Hayman, who previously served as chief of Israeli Military Intelligence and is currently the director of the Institute for National Security Studies, summarizes what is being reported in the news about the attempt to bring down the Iranian regime and how the current operation came about.  In doing so, he notes that Israel was caught unaware when Trump announced he was coming to help the Iranian protestors.  From there he explains the story relating the intended use of the Kurdish forces in toppling the regime in Tehran, and the use of the notorious Ahmadinejad to lead the regime into capitulating to a transfer of power from the Islamists.

The Pursuit of the unattainable, Israel’s “deep state”

Ron JagerMay 31, 2026

No other country in the Western world has been forced to exist and strive under the constant shadow of endless cycles of war, terrorism, invasion, rocket fire, suicide bombings, and existential threats since its establishment 78 years ago, affecting virtually every family in Israel. While many nations have experienced wars in their history, Israel has faced continuous conflict from the very day it was established as the Jewish homeland after nearly two thousand years of exile. Hamas’ invasion of southern Israel on Oct 7th, was only the latest manifestation of the barbaric terror carried out by our Palestinian neighbors, let alone the ensuing war on seven fronts forcing Israel to defend herself, against daily attacks by Hamas, Yemen, Lebanon and Iran.

With support from Turkey and Egypt, Hamas seeks new ceasefire deal without surrendering weapons

Peloni:  Hamas was suppose to be disarmed within 36hrs following the adoption of Trump’s 20 Point Plan.  At this point, the only negotiation which should be pursued with these savages is where they might prefer to be buried.  The IDF should eliminate this scourge once and for all, and without further efforts of negotiating the violated negotiations which continue to evolve to benefit the terrorists while ignoring there already overdue deadline for destruction.  It is time to end the negotiations, and to end Hamas’ control in Gaza as well.

Arab States Reject President Trump’s Call to Join The Abraham Accords As Part Of Agreement With Iran…

Peloni:  It is important to grasp the importance of the Abraham Accords to Trump’s greater strategy.  In the 2026 National Security Strategy (NSS), Trump identified the relevance of multiple states working together with the Chinese against America.  It also referenced  the importance of American allies to share the burden of being able to enforce American interests in their relative regions.  With regards to the Middle East, this policy was acutely relevant as America intends to pivot towards Asia.  So the demand which Trump made regarding the Muslim nations joining the Abraham Accords (AA), while representing a tall ask, was an essential aspect of Trump’s regional policy as referenced in the NSS.  What is more is that the AA specifically promotes peace with the Muslim states as a priority over the pursuit of a second Pal state, and as the comments below indicate, this tall ask by Trump represents a bridge too far for the Muslim states.

Secret Weapon of US’ Commercial and Defense High Tech – Israel!

Peloni:  Ambassador Yoram Ettinger provides a clear example of how important a role Israel plays in the US military, and what is described as ‘aid’ is actually an American investment in its own future capabilities that are derived from the US-Israeli partnership, which has secured an exponential return on this investment for the American people.

*Israel has been the largest research and development center, outside the US, for the US’ commercial high tech sector.  Over 250 US high tech giants – such as Intel, Dell, Amazon, John Deere, IBM, AOL, Applied Materials, Google, Facebook, Cisco, General Electric, General Motors, HP, 3M, Intuit, Motorola, Apple, Microsoft and NVIDIA – have established research and development centers in Israel. They have leveraged Israel’s brainpower, which has produced out-of-the-box and ground-breaking innovations, bolstering the global superiority of the US commercial high tech. This Israeli connection has enhanced the US global competitiveness, saving the US many years of research and development (worth billions of dollars), increasing US exports, expanding US employment and boosting the US Treasury’s (corporate and individual) income tax revenues.

The truth about the Mufti and Hitler: Truth requires neither exaggeration nor minimization

Hitler encouraged the Mufti’s wishful thinking that assisting Germany would lead to Arab sovereignty. In reality, the Nazis intended to use him, yet the Mufti was not merely being used.

Part I: The Mufti and Hitler (Part II is at the end of this article and is the real story of al-Hussseini’s background)

Minimizing Haj Amin al-Husseini’s role in Holocaust history distorts the global reach of Axis collaboration. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem was not the architect of the Final Solution, and serious history should not claim that he was. But neither was he a marginal spectator. He was an active Nazi collaborator who used his religious and political authority to incite antisemitism, actively promote the destruction of European Jewry, recruit Muslims for the Nazi war effort, block Jewish escape to Palestine, and help extend Hitler’s war against the Jews into the Arab and Muslim world.

Israel and Lebanon announce a new ceasefire, but Hezbollah rejects

Peloni:  Lebanon lacks any agency with regards to Hezbollah, and unlike many captured populations, they lack the either the capacity or the courage to free themselves.  Til this changes, these peace talks only serve to reaffirm Lebanon’s captured status, while holding Israel in compliance with the preservation of the Iranian proxy/Lebanese masters in Hezbollah.  The Trump administration is comprised of intelligent and experienced individuals.  It is not possible that they are all so blind as to what is going on here as to allow this shadow boxing charade play an important role in forming the future of the region.

I’m Also Disappointed – But Perspective Matters

Avi Abelow

Yes, I’m also disappointed.

Once again, we are witnessing a Western ceasefire that is completely disconnected from reality, this time led by President Trump, led by advisors with little understanding of the Arab-Muslim jihadi Middle East. There is no longer a real sovereign state of Lebanon. Iran effectively runs the country through its terror army, Hezbollah, which sits both in the Lebanese government and deeply embedded within the Lebanese army itself. Any agreement signed with “Lebanon” is therefore signed with a fiction.

Israel, Lebanon reaffirm commitment to ceasefire, but concede it’s ‘contingent’ on ‘cessation of Hezbollah fire’

Update:  Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem described the proposed Lebanon-Israel ceasefire proposal as “Satan’s dream in heaven.”  He went on to threaten Israel’s northern communities, stating that they will not be safe so long as Israeli forces are present in Lebanon.

Peloni:  Once again, Hezbollah is saved from destruction under the ruse of a Lebanon peace agreement which has no legitimacy if Lebanon does not hold authority over Hezbollah.  Notably, such hypocrisy as to suggest that Lebanon does have any influence over Hezbollah comes right out of nonsensical playbook which led to October 7.  Notably, several thousand Hezbollah fighters have been eliminated over the past weeks, and it is being argued that the diminishing number of Hezbollah militants may give Lebanon the edge to finally wield control over Hezbollah, but this defies the reality of Hezbollah’s control over the Lebanese Armed Forces.  In the more than a year prior to the current engagement with Hezbollah, under the oversight of Amb. Tom Barrack, Lebanon took a year to prove that it lacked any control over Hezbollah, and in fact, the Lebanese effort to pretend otherwise simply provided Hezbollah with the means by which to regroup, rearm and return to battle.  I fully expect we are looking at the same game being played currently, with the notable difference of the IDF being situated in a forward position in Lebanon.

The Muslim Voting Machine: America’s Pathetic Low Turnout Is Surrendering the Country to Islam

Peloni:  I have never understood why voting is not a compulsive requirement of citizens in democratic nations.  While people suffer the consequences of political options which are decided without their input, they still fail to enforce the consent of the governed.  The result of what might be described as democratic malpractice has the potential of having a nation’s values erased, its legal standards perverted, and its liberties lost.    Judeo-Christian values form the foundation of Western societies.  Is it not worth the price of voting to preserve it for future generations?

Iran’s Attack on Kuwait Just Backfired BIG TIME

Peloni:  Rabbi Pesach Wolicki makes the argument that the reason that Iran is hitting Kuwait so hard is to try to have them abandon their ties with Washington.  As the least US aligned Gulf nation, this would be a reasonable expectation for Iran to make, but Rabbi Wolicki suggests that Iran may have pushed Kuwait further towards the West than away from it.
