Peloni:  None of this is new, shocking or in question.  The preference to pretend that the LAF can act against the Shia majority’s sacred cow, Hezbollah, is quite difficult to argue as being based on misconceptions, as these misconceptions continue to be leveraged to keep Hezbollah in power in Lebanon while also continue to be fed massive annuities in the form of aid at the expense of US taxpayers.  Washington needs to end the charade which keeps the terrorists in Lebanon funded.  This is the minimum which should be understood to be in the interest of Trump’s pursuit of eliminating waste, fraud and abuse, all of which have played a hand in funding the terrorists regimes in the Middle East, and continues to fund the Hezbollah aligned LAF.

Some senior U.S. officials believe showering the Lebanese government with praise will hasten disarming Hezbollah.

In a statement issued on February 9, U.S. CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper lauded the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) for “recently finding a massive underground Hezbollah tunnel for the second time in the past two months.”  The tone of his comments recalled remarks made last August by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who advocated for a mutual defense agreement with the United States. But Graham’s endorsement of the LAF has now soured. Earlier this month, Graham abruptly ended a direct meeting with LAF Commander Rodolphe Haykal after the latter stated that Hezbollah was not a terrorist organization “in the context of Lebanon.”

The nation building experiments in Afghanistan and Iraq were obviously doomed when their new 2004 and 2005 ‘constitutions’ declared them to be Islamic nations based on Islamic law.

Our latest experiment in nation building, trying to create a ‘Palestinian’ state in Gaza, is going the same way. In 1967, Israel took back by force of arms from Jordan the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount that is the holiest site in Judaism. For the first time since the 1948 war, Jews could now visit the Temple Mount. However, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan made a fateful decision, intended to lessen tensions and prevent a violent outburst from the Arabs, already smarting from their defeat in the Six-Day War. He prohibited Jews from praying, or bringing with them prayerbooks, or from wearing tefillin, when visiting the Mount. In fact, Jews were not even allowed to silently mouth prayers. Israeli police monitored the Mount and stopped any Jews who were. violating those rules.

Peloni:  Notably, Turkey’s branch of the Muslim Brotherhood is one of those which the US has thus far chosen to not ban, even as Turkey continues to carry significant influence in Washington, two facts which are obviously related.  Turkey’s deep seeded connection to the Muslim Brotherhood also supports Ankara’s support for Hamas, and their naming of one of the mosques built in Gaza being named to celebrate an Islamist jihadist.  Turkey must be isolated from having any role in Gaza.

Turkey’s Diyanet Foundation opened three mosques in Gaza ahead of Ramadan, part of Ankara’s broader effort to expand religious and political influence in the enclave.

Peloni:  This is an important video, and if it were not, I wouldn’t have posted it given Steve Bannon’s open embrace of rising antisemitic rhetoric including his call for the conquest of Jerusalem.  Tina Peters is one of the most important players in the past years in exposing the election fraud in the 2020 US elections, something which came to change the world in many significant and unfortunate ways.  The vehemence with which she was over charged and sentenced to nearly a decade in jail demonstrates the literal terror which she evokes by those who value the systematic fraud which she exposed.  Notably, this sentence is not a jail sentence, but an almost certain death sentence as is discussed in the video.  It also discusses the level to which the establishment which imprisoned her has gone to keep her in prison and why this is so.  Tina Peters is an amazing woman of courage and conviction, and who I hope to see survive this deathtrap laid out for her having done what was necessary to document the shenanigans which took place under her watchful eye during the 2020 election.

Peloni:  The Hashemites remain as the greatest obstacle to Trump’s relocation plan.  Their shelf life is nearing its end, and when they finally go it must be remembered that the demographics, logistics, history, and international law all lend themselves towards recognizing that Jordan is the Forgotten Palestinian Muslim state.  Such a recognition would solve many regional problems.

Peloni:  The eye-witness testimony given by Segev Kalfon, as he recounts the conversations of Hamas leadership regarding future plans and past recriminations related to the October 7 Massacre, needs to be shared far and wide.  Too many people in high places are acting as if they are oblivious to what should be common knowledge, but it seems it is not common enough to gain influence over the likes of Trump’s trusted Mideast Envoys who are delusionally fantasizing over the belief that ‘everyone wants peace’.

I remember once seeing a picture of a Native American chief looking wistfully towards the distant horizon where once his ancestral homeland lay. He was speaking to a stranger about the peace treaties he made that were all dishonored by American officials. The caption read: “Let me tell you about land for peace.”

With this in mind, and with the painful knowledge of Israel’s past “land for peace” fiascos, I penned an article called “First Two-State Solution is 104 Years Old”. I felt it necessary to remind the world how, in 1921/22, the British Colonial Office had arbitrarily abrogated the promises made by Britain under the 1917 Balfour Declaration – of assisting the creation in Mandatory Palestine of a Jewish National Home.
