Greenblatt: Trump hasn’t yet decided when to unveil peace plan

US envoy says it is unclear whether the political component of the peace plan will be unveiled before or after Israeli elections.

By Elad Benar, INN

US President Donald Trump has not yet decided whether to unveil his Middle East peace plan before or after Israeli elections set for next month, US special envoy Jason Greenblatt told Bloomberg Television in an interview on Monday.

Greenblatt also said that the US hopes eventually to engage with the Palestinian Authority on an accord, even though it has been boycotting the Trump administration ever since he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Greenblatt, who along with Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner has been drafting a Middle East peace proposal for the last two years, said the US isn’t looking for regime change with the PA. At the same time, he signaled the US would continue to avoid any dealings with Hamas, the terrorist group that rules the Gaza Strip.

The Muslim Brotherhood, Mother of Islamist Terror Groups

By Mudar Zahran, AMERICAN THINKER

When the average American hears the term “radical Islamists” or thinks “terrorism,” the first notion that comes to mind is groups like Al Qaeda, ISIS, Taliban, or Hamas.

In reality, the world’s wholesale terror producer is none of the above, is headquartered in Jordan, works hand-in-hand with the monarchy there, and has evil tentacles that stretch across the globe wherever democracy and free choice thrive. Named the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), they are the quintessential terrorist organization, and are evil by sheer definition – they, strike fear into the hearts of man.

In 5 States, Muslim inmates vastly exceed their proportion of the population.

By Daniel Greenfield

At 1%, Muslims are still a small percentage of the population. But there’s one place in America where they are vastly over-represented.  State prisons.

Take Maryland, which has an estimated 70,000 Muslims, making up over 1% of the population. But of Maryland’s 18,562 prisoners, 5,084 were Muslims.

That’s 27.4% or over 1 in 4 prisoners.

It would also mean that 1 out of 13 Muslims in Maryland may have been in a state prison.

Those are startling numbers, yet they come from Muslim Advocates, an Islamist legal advocacy group. Both MA’s numbers and the number of Muslims in different states may be miscounted, yet these figures raise serious questions about public safety and the toll that immigration is taking on our communities.

Before election, PM aims for Trump backing for Israel sovereignty at settlements

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is seeking a public declaration from US President Donald Trump ahead of the September elections backing an Israeli move to extend its sovereignty over Jewish settlements in the West Bank, officials in the Prime Minister’s Office told Zman Yisrael, The Times of Israel’s Hebrew-language site, on Sunday.

While Netanyahu cannot himself take the far-reaching diplomatic step of extending Israeli sovereignty to the settlements while he is leading the current caretaker government, the Prime Minister’s Office is lobbying for public support from Trump for such a move. This would enable Netanyahu to credibly assure right-wing voters that he can and will move quickly to apply sovereignty to the settlements if he is again elected premier.

“Donald Trump’s No Racist, as Past Acts and Presidential Record Prove”

By  Andrew Stein, THE HILL, 9/7/19

Donald Trump is no racist. I have known him since 1973 and have never seen any indication or any form of racism. In fact, quite the contrary.

When I was Manhattan Borough president and president of the New York City Council, I asked him numerous times to help black or Hispanic groups, and he always came through, many times without publicity. When a hurricane ravished Puerto Rico in the mid 1980s, I asked many big companies to give various forms of assistance — but the problem was how to get all of this aid down to Puerto Rico. I called Donald Trump, and he provided us with a 727 jet to take all of the donated material down to the island, and he didn’t ask for any publicity for that generous act.

My friend, Rev. Floyd Flake, the minister of the largest black church in Queens, asked for some help for his senior center. Again, I called Donald Trump and he wrote a big check.

Tisha b’Av, in Judea

by Victor Rosenthal

Fireworks set off by Palestinian Arabs in nearby village of Silwad in an attempt to disrupt the funeral of Dvir Sorek, z”l ( screen capture, courtesy of Israel Hatzolah)

Today Jews are observing the fast of the 9th of Av, commemorating the destruction of the Jewish Temples in 586 BCE and 70 CE. They are abstaining from food, sex, or anything pleasant that might distract them from contemplation of the horrific death, destruction, and dispersal that occurred millennia ago, and indeed also of more recent events. By coincidence, today is the beginning of the Muslim holiday of Eid al Adha, which is celebrated by the mass slaughter of animals.

Israeli Jews are also contemplating the vicious murder of Dvir Sorek, an 18-year old yeshiva student and IDF soldier on Wednesday night. Sorek was set upon by two Palestinian Arab terrorists as he walked the 200 meters from a bus stop to his yeshiva in the Judean community of Migdal Oz, and stabbed many times. He was in civilian clothes and did not have a weapon.

The Humanitarian Hoax of “Assisted” Suicide: Killing America With Kindness – hoax 43

by Linda Goudsmit, PUNDICITY

The Humanitarian Hoax is a deliberate and deceitful tactic of presenting a destructive policy as altruistic. The humanitarian huckster presents himself as a compassionate advocate when in fact he is the disguised enemy.

Dr. Jack Kevorkian was the Michigan pathologist and euthanasia advocate who supported a patient’s right to die by physician-assisted suicide. His famous remark, “Dying is not a crime,” launched a public debate about the ethics of physician assisted-suicide.

Dr. Kevorkian was a pioneer in the controversial matter of physician-assisted suicide. Dubbed Dr. Death by the media, Kevorkian’s career and trials were widely publicized, and discussions about the ethics of physician-assisted suicide went mainstream. Between 1994-1997 Kevorkian was tried four times for physician-assisted suicide.

Goodbye withdrawal, hello sovereignty: The triumph of the settlers

Even rightist Israeli governments used to subconsciously regard them as potentially temporary, settler leaders say. Now, they claim, that’s all changed. Next stop: Full integration

By David Horowitz, TOI

SHILOH, West Bank — On the road leading to Shiloh stands a large sculpture, Dovecote, erected at the time that the settlement was founded in 1978. The work of Igael Tumarkin, it was implanted by Peace Now activists to symbolize their contention that the settlement enterprise in general, and Shiloh in particular, were obstacles to any hope of Israeli-Palestinian peace. An inhospitable concrete and metal structure, the sculpture looks like anything but a home for the doves that symbolize reconciliation and harmony.

As we drove past Dovecote last week in the company of Yigal Dilmoni, the CEO of the Yesha (Settlements) Council, he pointed it out with an indulgent chuckle. Rather than the towering reprimand it was intended to constitute, it is regarded by the Jews of modern Shiloh, he indicated, as a symbol of their endurance and maybe even their triumph. Dovecote is still here. But so, too, is Shiloh. Established by a handful of families and a few hundred yeshiva students 41 years ago, the settlement today has a population of about 4,000.

ADL claims, “White Supremacist Terrorism On The Rise”, but is it?

Media Desperate To Cover Up The Answer

TEA PARTY

(Tea Party 247) – The Democrats had their preferred narrative about the El Paso and Dayton shootings all picked out for them before they even knew the facts.

So they most certainly could not be bothered to revise that narrative once the facts came out.

And God forbid that they measure their narrative up against actual data and statistics about say, mass shootings or white supremacy.

That would just be far too honest!

Israel Must Stop Syria’s Advance Southward

By Prof. Hillel Frisch, BESA

BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 884, July 5, 2018

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Israel must halt the reconsolidation of the Syrian regime, especially in the country’s south. Russia helped to bolster the regime through airpower. In response to the resulting and growing threat, Israel must now unleash the might of the IAF.

Ever since the 1982 Lebanon war, the Israeli leadership has repeated the mantra that non-involvement in foreign battlefields is better than engagement.

That spell continues to affect Israeli policies towards Syria despite the occasional aerial strikes leveled against Syrian and Iranian installations and forces.

No rule applies to all situations. In the case of Israeli involvement in Syria, minimal involvement is now downright dangerous.

A Radical Squad’s Jew Hate

The cancer of anti-Semitism takes firm root in the Democratic Party.

By Ari Lieberman, FPM

This week’s brouhaha between Donald Trump and the radical left-wing of the Democratic Party or the so-called “Squad,” has exposed deep fissures within the Party itself, with centrist Democrats becoming an ever increasing rare breed. The Democratic Party is eating itself alive, the result of open warfare between moderates and radical progressives, and the extremists appear to have the upper hand. More troubling is the level of anti-Semitic rhetoric routinely spewed by the radicals and the deafening silence of Party leaders in response to this deleterious trend. The Democratic Party of today, with its Jew-hating, Israel-bashing rhetoric is sounding more and more like its Labour cousin across the Atlantic.

Report: Trump criticizes Israel’s decision to let in Omar, Tlaib

Trump says that if Omar and Tlaib want to boycott Israel, ‘then Israel should boycott them.’

ARUTZ SHEVA

US President Donald Trump told advisers that Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu should ban Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) from entering Israel through its anti-BDS laws, an Axios report said on Saturday night.

Trump said that if Omar and Tlaib want to boycott Israel, “then Israel should boycott them.”

Trump said he disagreed with Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer’s explanation of why Israel is allowing Omar and Tlaib in. “Out of respect for the US Congress and the great alliance between Israel and America, we would not deny entry to any member of Congress into Israel,” Dermer said last month.

Jordan’s king wants 3rd intifada

Abdullah is in trouble and doing anything he can to stay in power, including playing poker with a global bunch who want to see the Palestinians suffer and the peace process dead in the water.

By Mudar Zahran, ISRAEL HAYOM

n an effort to control the narrative that saves his throne, King Abdullah of Jordan has been using a scorched-earth method to promote “liberate Palestine” rhetoric, anti-Semitism, and closer ties with Iran. The king considers these to be acts of “resistance” while many now consider him to be an impediment to regional peace.

This has been exhibited in the actions of his state-controlled media, heard in his speeches and in the actions of his puppet parliament. Combined with his usually silent cabinet, everyone has become “concerned for Jerusalem,” and as he himself has put it: “No to giving Jerusalem, no to Jordan being Palestine and no to naturalization [of Palestinians].”

Abdullah is doing all of this for a reason. He is desperate and in hot water with his constituency. Riots, protests, and unrest have been hitting Jordan for months and people are calling him out, hurling insults at him in public, despite risking 15 years in prison for “having a long tongue against the king.” I received this sentence in 2014.

Turkey Aims to End a Backlash by Sending Syrian Refugees Home

With the country’s economy—and his popularity—faltering, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan takes steps to start returning some of the millions who fled their war-torn nation

Turkey is taking steps to stem a backlash against the nearly four million displaced people from war-ravaged Syria, whose presence and a badly faltering economy have stoked anger at President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Police in Istanbul, where the candidate from the president’s ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP, was trounced in July’s mayoral election, are conducting more identity checks in a bid to lower the number of Syrian refugees living in the country’s economic hub who were registered elsewhere.

“We aim to accelerate the return of Syrian refugees to their homes,” Mr. Erdogan told Turkish ambassadors in Ankara on Tuesday.

Israeli group searches for Arabs with Jewish ancestors

By Mordechai Goldman, AL MONITOR

An Israeli online campaign in Arabic has been a surprising success. The campaign, which was launched just before the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, which started on June 8, encourages Muslims with Jewish roots according to Jewish law to return to Judaism. This unusual and unprecedented effort was launched by the group Yad L’Achim, which describes itself as doing everything so that “we do not give up even on a single Jew.” The organization fights against “missionary activities,” loss of identity and assimilation of Jews, seeking instead instilling Jewish values.

According to Jewish law, a person’s identity as a Jew is passed on through matrilineal descent. This means that if the mother or the maternal grandmother are Jewish, so are the children and grandchildren. The organization is now attempting to reach Muslims who are Jewish according to the principles of Jewish law, so that they can be led back to the Jewish people. The campaign has made waves across social media, with Muslims from countries like Jordan, Lebanon and Yemen approaching the organization in response.

Is ethnic studies plan too politically correct even for California?

A public high school ethnic studies curriculum is receiving criticism for one-sided presentations of facts

By |

As Americans grapple with shifts in culture and demographics, majority-minority California is developing a high school curriculum in ethnic studies, one of the first nationally. Not long ago — while managing his extracurriculars and winnowing his college choices — Eli Safaie-Kia, 17, found time to discover a draft of it.

Its contents were, in some ways, standard-issue: readings and projects aimed at fostering tolerance, offering non-traditional perspectives and helping a massive, multicultural populace better understand one another. But in other ways, the draft was confusing even to a Generation Z kid from a blue-state. For one, it presented Israel in a way that went heavy on Palestinian oppression and scarcely mentioned the Holocaust.

So unsettled was the Israeli-American teen by the California Department of Education’s proposed model curriculum, required by a 2016 law, that the Los Angeles high school senior fired off a comment to the department.  “I kinda came across the document,” he said, “and once I began reading through it, it was a little bit disturbing to see how one-sided some parts of the ethnic studies proposal was.”

Blaming Trump for the El Paso massacre

T. Belman. This article is brimming with hatred of Trump. Unfortunately it is standard fare in the liberal Jewish world.  I am so disgusted with it.  I support Trump’s agenda including building a wall  and preserving western culture. Not for a moment would I call him a racist or a bigot.

Republished from San Diego Jewish World

By  Dr. Alon Ben-Meir, JEWISH WEB SITE August 9, 2019

Within 13 hours, two mass shooting took place—in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio—killing 31 innocent people and injuring twice as many. We normally hear about these horrifying incidents, express sorrow and bewilderment, talk about gun control, and move on. Politicians, including Trump, dispatch their old and tired expressions of condolences and offer prayers to console the bereaved families of the victims. But then we go about our daily routine, knowing that the next mass shooting looms as if it were a natural phenomenon like a thunderstorm, in the face of which we can do nothing. And tragically, the vicious cycle continues.

This time, however, something far more sinister and profoundly troubling is at play. Race, guns, and immigration were so artfully combined by a racist president who is sworn not to pass meaningful gun control laws to please his base, promotes racism to divide the country, and calls Hispanic immigrants “invaders” to make them targets. During the past few months, Trump spent over a million dollars on Facebook ads with the word “invasion” in big letters to spread fear among his constituents and create an atmosphere ripe for violence against people of color.

ADL says: “White supremacists have murdered at least 73 since Charlottesville”

T. Belman.  I found this report alarming. But I wanted to understand how they defined “white supremacists” in order to understand the report.  The report cited a number of mass killings including “deadly white supremacist shooting rampages in Parkland, PittsburghPoway and El Paso, ” So I looked into these incidents and found that the purpetrators were haters. They hated Jews and blacks and immigrants, generally speaking. Who would accuse the Spuad as being white supremacists because they are haters.

In another ADL report, “White Supremacists Continue to Spread Hate on American Campuses” dated June 2019, the ADL conflated nationalists with white supremacists. Thus if you promote Nationalism over Globalism or American workers first, you are a white supremacist. If you are for a restricted immigration policy, you are a white supremacist. If you want to maintain our culture, you are a white supremacist.

I don’t trust the ADL one iota.
