Earlier today, we published two press releases, one in support of Israel’s decision to refuse entry of Israelophobic and anti-Semitic Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, and another emphasizing that no nation –– including Israel –– shall be required to admit persons who seek to destroy or harm the host country.

Did you see anyone else proudly and publicly stand with Israel today? ZOA is not afraid to speak the truth:

• Rep’s Tlaib and Omar seek Israel’s destruction, and are leading promoters of anti-Jewish anti-Israel boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS). They outrageously compare boycotting Israel to boycotting Nazis.
• Rep. Tlaib’s associates include Hezbollah-backer and anti-Israel Al Awda head Abbas Hamideh.
• Rep. Tlaib publicly praised 18 colleagues who are close associates of Palestinian terrorists with Jewish blood on their hands, for helping Tlaib to win office.
• Rep. Tlaib invited Hezbollah supporters to her swearing-in and took pictures with them and convicted Jew killer Rasmeah Odeh.
• Rep. Tlaib claimed that Arabs “provided a safe haven for Jews” after the Holocaust; deleted Israel from her office map; and has written for Farrakhan’s newspaper.
• Rep. Omar accuses Jews of bribing Congress to support Israel; showed sympathy to ISIS; called Israel “Apartheid State;” called Israel “evil” & and “hypnotized” the world.
• Rep. Omar described 9-11 as “some people who did something”; wouldn’t answer if she supported Al Qaeda; and supports murderous dictator Communist Venezuela’s Maduro.
• Rep. Omar’s financial backers include top anti-Israel BDS leaders and Hamas supporters.
• Rep. Omar demanded a judge should show compassion towards and reduce the sentences of convicted ISIS terrorists.

PA undergoes first ever review by Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination

The Palestinian Authority was called to task for hate speech and antisemitism in its official statements and in its textbooks during the government’s first ever review by the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination held in Geneva on Tuesday.

“Several NGO reports pointed out antisemitic and anti-Israel prejudice and incitement to hatred, especially in the [Palestinian] media and speeches of state officials. Can the state party [the PA] provide any explanation in this regard?” asked committee member Chinsung Chung of South Korea. She is the special rapporteur for the Palestinian Authority’s review by the committee. Its members paused to note the “historic” quality of the moment before tackling the more complex issues at hand.

With fewer than 450 days to the 2020 election, it’s no longer too early to assert why American Jews ought to vote to re-elect the president: Trump is good for America and America is good for the Jews.

As the Trump re-election campaign debuts its “coalitions” outreach effort, the question inevitably arises whether American Jews will in significant numbers switch from their traditional allegiance to the Democratic Party and support a president who moved the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem as perhaps his crowning pro-Jewish achievement.

Women for Trump, Blacks for Trump, and Hispanics for Trump polling has already seen a significant bump in support to the president in these other familiar Democrat voting blocs. But what of the American Jews, who famously were described in the 1970s to be people who dress like Episcopalians, but vote like Puerto Ricans?

Protesters using Tisha B’Av to call for the elimination of ICE and the Department of Homeland Security are doing more than using a misleading analogy.

(August 12, 2019 / JNS) In the wake of last week’s mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, the debate about the Trump administration’s immigration policies has become more divisive than ever. The fact that the shooter in that atrocity was a racist hater of Hispanics—and opposed both legal and illegal immigration to the United States—has been used by the administration’s critics to blame the president for what happened and to even label supporters of his policies as also being racist.

That kind of invective makes debate about the core issues difficult, if not impossible. Neither side in the discussion about immigration has entirely clean hands. But there is a special responsibility for those who claim to speak for faith to do so in a manner that is not aimed at creating more polarization. And on that ground, the left-wing Jewish activists who spent Tisha B’Av protesting President Donald Trump’s policies failed miserably.

The religious site of High Priest Aaron’s burial is located in Jordan and Jews should have access to it, as in the Peace Treaty signed by Israel and Jordan.

Jordan’s decision to ban Jews visiting or praying at a Jewish religious site – Aaron’s tomb situated on Mount Hor – has seriously threatened the Israel-Jordan peace treaty and possibly postponed even further the long-awaited release of President Trump’s plans aimed at ending the 100 years old Arab-Jewish conflict.

The United Nations Security Council could also be faced with having to censure Jordan or avert its gaze from this distinctly disturbing incident of Jew-hatred.

In early July, media reports surfaced regarding an alleged wave of Israeli strikes on Iranian-axis targets across Syria. The reports serve as a reminder of the ongoing shadow war raging between Jerusalem and Tehran and bring into the spotlight Israel’s long-term strategic objective.

The strikes allegedly hit Iranian and Hezbollah assets. They included development, storage, and transfer facilities, some of which appear to have been embedded in Syrian military bases. Targets around Damascus, Homs, and western Syria were all reportedly hit, resulting in a number of casualties.

An obsession with “intersectionality” results in the misuse and abuse of history.

Academics today are widely known for letting ideology and politics drive their research and teaching, but nowhere is this more evident than in the determination of Middle East studies scholars to situate rejection of Israel’s right to exist within the social justice pantheon of the mainstream Left. And perhaps nowhere is this determination more evident than in Randolph-Macon College history professor Michael R. Fischbach’s new book, Black Power and Palestine: Transnational Countries of Color.

I eagerly attended his recent talk at UCLA’s Center for Near Eastern Studies to hear him out.

The social sciences today are dominated by intersectional theory, which, in a nutshell, holds that systems of minority oppression — racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, gender, class, and so forth — are overlapping; that oppressed groups share a commonality of interests; and that tapping into that solidarity is essential to bringing about change. In recent years, anti-Israel activists have used intersectionalism as a rallying cry to pressure social justice movements ranging from Occupy Wall Street to the Women’s March to adopt anti-Israel platforms.

Monday on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” network political analyst Zerlina Maxwell declared those who support President Donald Trump “caging brown babies” were “supporting racist policies.”

If you listen to her remarks you will see that everything she accuses Trump of is a distortion of what he said.  These distortions have been debunked many times. Nevertheless she chooses to ignore the truth and peddle lies as do all the Democratic Presidential hopefuls..

Calling Trump a “racist” of “White Supremacist” is intended to replace the Russian hoax drum. They will keep banging on it til Trump is reelected.
